Viral Boho Braids Tutorial On Natural Hair | Detailed

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, it's your girl, Brittany, Collins, AKA, naturally pretty I am here with another video, as you can tell by the title, I'm going to be trying out the boho braids on natural hair. It'S going crazy on Tick, Tock right now, and it's even on Instagram, so y'all know when that happens. It'S definitely popping so I was like I have to try this style, but without further Ado. Let'S go ahead and hop into this video. I'M going to be doing these boho braids without weaves. I'M really excited about it, because these results right now they looking real real good, and these are dried because I had started it and then my husband had a basketball game and yeah. I was like girl. Go to bed we're not doing this. This is something that you definitely have to have patience for, because you have to remember to pull the pieces out and you got to take your time because you want it to look good. I know some people probably do it messy, because boho kind of gives the messy Vibes, but I wanted mine to be clean because I want to be able to wear it for a minute. This is what we starting with so I'm gon na turn. So I can part it properly see where we going with this. So I'm trying to keep in mind the way that I will wear the hair so chances are. I would do a half up half down that way when it's completed that'll be down. I can have like a little half a pack now thing going on boom. Okay, so now with the sizes I'm trying to keep them as close as I can to each other, and then I split this section in half, but I want to show y'all exactly what I do cream making sure that I get the ends really well brush it Through make sure it's fully distributed, okay, now we're gon na go in with the wet gel. Let'S go take the roots up. Go then we're going to get three pieces like we would any other birdie, so we're gon na start braiding. Now here I try to feel for which piece of the hair is the thickest important. My phone is doing what iPhones do, I feel so irritating sometimes anyway, so we're gon na try this again. So what I was trying to say was after I grabbed the three pieces, I'll braid for a little bit and then I start to feel which piece is the thickest and pull from that piece. So I'm gon na go down some. This piece is the thickest, so I'm gon na go ahead and take out see the other side was better for y'all to see. Take a little piece out and we're gon na continue braiding doing the same thing kind of feeling for which one is thicker. Sometimes it's the same one. Sometimes it's not. I'M Gon na Keep the pieces that are hanging out kind of thin for real and my strands are pretty decent. You know thickness, so I feel like. I don't need a lot of hair anyways, but I feel like that's when it gets like too messy, especially when it dries or starts getting frizzy. You know you don't want to look homeless. You want to give a little little something, but you don't want it to look homeless, so I'm gon na take out three. This is my third piece right here. The top of my hair is longer than the back like it's. The curl pattern is not the same. So I will stop a little higher and start the coil that way it really kind of shrinks up so that when it dries hopefully it'll look the same length because it is but just don't be playing. So I'm taking the gel now and smoothing it down the FlyAway pieces to Define them, make sure they're fully coated in the gel. So, as you can see, it's kind of time consuming but and then boom, that's it. This is the piece I was trying to show. Y'All and there we go so I'm gon na knock out the rest of this head. My phone is already given it's gon na give me a hard time, so we're not even gon na play with that, and I'm trying to record a real too so yeah y'all kind of get the gist. I do well I'll, probably put it in the beginning of the video I'll, explain how I pick my products, because I think that that is very important to how this is turning out right now, but I'ma catch y'all. At the end, there was no way y'all was gon na get that instant. So I took some quick pictures like on the couch, sir or y'all, see these old I've had to even refresh this now um, I will tell you a couple of cons. Is that the hair does get tangly uh, so hey guys, editor B here just wanted to let y'all know I did refresh this um hair with foam. I'Ve now had it in for a week and it's super easy to refresh with foam. So just so you all know: oh it's the products products matter with this hairstyle um. I think I end up mentioning in the video that I would throw it in here. So when I was choosing a product I used gel on this with the actual product for the braids. I did something that gave me a little bit of stretch but still Define my hair. So that way I have the curl kind of looking juicy and then it's also giving me a little bit of length here, because I don't know if you guys uh follow me on Instagram. If you don't make sure you do that, I did go ahead and cut my hair here recently and yeah. It'S still giving very much so what it was giving before. So you pick those type of products when trying to do this. Hairstyle. If you want something that looks similar to mine, this kind of giving you Vibes but different, you know what I'm saying. So it's still a little frizzy, but it's still cute. That'S the whole point of having the boho. You know what I'm saying a little messy look.
