Dutch Braids With Curly Ends | Protective Style

What'S up guys, it's Mariah and today I'm gon na do a hair tutorial and yeah. I'M gon na do French braids and I'm gon na incorporate my extensions and want them. Alright, you guys so jumping right into it. I just started off by sectioning off my hair. Just to make it much easier while detangling - and I have enough in my hair right now so ya may use this brush right here and to tangle my hair from the bottom up very important. You go from the bottoms up because you want to not break off your hair, especially when you have nothing in it, alright. So to begin my braid, I'm just gon na start off by making the straightest part, I can using a rat tail comb and it was very difficult for me to film it on camera, especially because I didn't have a mirror in front of me. So I did jump off camera to try and straighten it out, really quickly, so be patient and see. If someone else can help you, if you can all right so now that my hair is all sectioned off, I'm gon na start off with one end. First and right here, I'm just gon na go in with a little bit of water and I'm just gon na start spraying the roots of my hair - and this is just gon na help smooth that out. I haven't been using heat on my hair and yeah. Otherwise, I would have straightened it or blow-dried it, but yeah, I'm going in with this eco styler gel and it's just gon na give it a little bit of hold and and then I'm gon na go in with my brush, and this is a bristle brush. You can use any type of bristle brush, and this is mostly just to smooth down my hair after that. I'M going in with this locking firm wax and it's gon na give it more holes and shine. So once my hair is awesome about to my liking, I'm gon na go right into my braids and I have another braiding tutorial on here. I think that one's a little bit more detailed, but I'm just braiding straight onto my head. I have no real technique. Honestly, I taught myself so yeah, I'm just moving it as I go and braiding it as tight as possible start to go in with more products as you need. As you can see on the sides of my hair, I just keep smoothing and flicking it with more products all right, so I braided it as tight in as small as possible on the ends and right now, I'm just going in with some hair ties and I'm Tying it to where I want my ponytail to start off, and this is where we are going to clip the extensions on if you have loose tracks rather than the clip in extensions you'll, probably get an easier grip and hold, but I just clipped it all around. My braid and yeah I'm just playing with it and I take a little piece and wrap it around the top. Just for that, you can't see the tracks all right, so we are almost done here. We'Re gon na go right into the winding process and right here, I'm just putting a little bit of Argan and serum in my hair, just for a little bit more shine and to help eliminate the frizz and the wand that I'm using is off of Amazon. So it's a super cheap wand. I think it was only like twenty-five dollars, so just use any one that you have that's similar in size. You should be able to get the same results if you want your curls to come out much tighter as you're done winding. It you can just hold and grip it and just wait until it cools off a little bit alright, after both sides are done being wanded. I just go in and slick my baby hairs down. I did it as a protective style because, although I haven't been straightening, my hair, I missed the straight hair. Look but yeah, I'm just spraying a little bit of hairspray bring the ends and yeah.
