Hi everyone welcome back today, I'm going to show you my take on some Greek goddess hairstyles. I remember when I was studying Greek mythology back in high school. I'Ve always imagined Aphrodite, Athena and Hera to have the most elegant, romantic and beautiful hairstyles. So, let's try to recreate that you're going to start out with some defined curls and I use a 3/4 inch. Curling wand, starting with one side horizontally, divide out a small section at the top and clip it out of the way then grab another section right underneath and divide it into three you're going to do a basic braid and it's important to lift your hair up at An upward angle, as you do this, to prepare it for later, when your braid is able to reach towards to the other side. Secure would have been elastic and release the section from earlier bring your braid over to the other side and bring it down right behind your ear. You can see that by securing away the top section earlier, it helps to kind of hide where the braid started. Now, pull down some hair in the front to help frame your face, then you're going to join both sides of your hair into a half updo after you secure this you're going to divide the little ponytail and a half at the base and flip your hair into It this will create a twist we're going to make another one so bring two more sections in the front and join them in the back with another thin elastic, create the hole at the base and flip your ponytail into that hole. When you're done, you should have an elegant hairstyle with twists and braids. What'S left is to accessorize here I have a headband full of gold flowers and leaves to complete the look and I'll show you several ways to wear this number one is placing it on top of your head right before your braid. If you want your weight to show more from the front, then you can slightly move it down, then, where your golden crown behind it. I think this is a pretty look, as the braid gives the crown a little accent. Number three is to wear your crown in the back by placing it on backwards, make sure that it lies right between your two twists, so your hairstyle will look more intricate. This is a unique way to wear your golden headband because it looks like you have a braided crown in the front that blossoms into some beautiful flowers and leaves in the back. If you don't want to wear your headband, you can also accessorize with flower clips, and I like to place one right in the middle like so I made all of these accessories from the headband to the bracelet. So if you like to see a DIY video on that, then let me know and I'll upload it very soon for you now, I'm going to show you how to easily transform this Greek goddess hairstyle in case you want an updo. What you're going to do is grab a section of curls and gently, pull it upward and pin it to your head. Repeat this for the other side as well as in the middle, this doesn't have to be neat. You actually want to make it a little messy, as the curls would giftee up. Do some texture, don't overthink it just pull your hair up and pin. I literally did this without a mirror, so you can see that precision is not all that important. If your hair is shorter, then you'll have a really nice and full updo wave. Your hair is long like mine, then you'll have some ends, cascading down, which will give it a romantic feel, and that's it in the comments. Let me know which Greek goddess hairstyle you liked better. Is that the damn D or D updo? I personally think both of them are beautiful and I hope you'll try them out and share your results with me through Instagram. Thank you for watching and I'll see. You soon have a nice day. Toodles

Blizzzzzardful: You're simply amazing hun! I have no words to describe your talent on inspiring hairstyling. I've watched numerous vids on hairstyling, but your channel is just full of variety along with clever ideas. You just gave me the tip i needed about sth i had in mind. You're sth between Afrodite and Athena (beauty+logic). I am Greek and i have to congratulate this. Beauty is simplicity.

applepearbananaable: I love the updo so much!! I want to use that hairstyle for prom it's so pretty :)

Nancy Elizabeth: I love this! I love the down-do more, and I would LOVE to see a DIY for it. What I love most about this video is that you can do so much with the hairstyles and they will never look the same each time you do it.

x3Thuha: Thank you! I just posted the DIY video if you're interested in watching it :) &I think you're absolutely right! The hairstyles (especially the updo) will look different on everyone, depending on where they position their curls hehe.

Sparkleanium: I think the reverse headband trick is soo pretty >wwww< I LOVE how the final hairstyle looks on you. By the way are you using hair tinsel or is it coloured strands of hair? Oh and do make the DIY video :D We well all be pretty Greek godesses after that XD :3 !

Lindzee Mckennie: Thankyou soooo much!!! picture day is right around the corner.... even though I have to wear uniform I think these hairstyles (especially the updo) will give it a touch of class. Thanks again!!

x3Thuha: Awwhs, thank you! I'm glad you liked this ^_____^ The golden strands in my hair are called hair tinsels, and I've just posted the DIY video for you. Enjoy~ :)

x3Thuha: Thank you very much!! :) I've posted the DIY for you. The headband was very cheap and easy to make :D

kellum99: Your hair is gorgeous and the gold strands (which I have noticed you have had a while) make this hair style look even more Greek goddess as well as the head band

Chi.T: Do a DIY please! I love the accessories

x3Thuha: Yes, sure thing! I've been meaning to make a video on my hair tinsels but couldn't do so this month because of all the Halloween tutorials I wanted to do hehe. :) Thanks for watching!

x3Thuha: There's no need to be; I'm sure your hair is beautiful as well :) Thanks so much for watching!

SweetxCandyyy: huehue. <3 Thank you so much. I've been watching a bunch of "tutorials" on how to put on tinsels... but it's so confusing. I'll be looking forward to your Halloween tutorials! <3

Sara Isan: Down-do <3 Beautiful I love it and just want to try it right now ^^

Iyanna Garcia: Loved both <3

x3Thuha: Thanks! I can't wait for Halloween either :D It's one of my favorite holidays hehe.

x3Thuha: Wow, you made such a good point! Aphrodite has a soft and feminine look since she's the Goddess of love and beauty. The first hairstyle would suit her because it's elegant and romantic. Then there's Athena, who's also beautiful but has an edge since she's the Goddess of Wisdom and War. The second hairstyle would suit her because the dangling curls from the updo gives off a pretty and sporty look. That's my interpretation hehe. Thanks for watching! The DIY video is up :)

x3Thuha: I just posted it. The accessories are very easy to do :) I hope you'll make some yourself.

KillAnyoneForYou: Very beautiful hair *-*

x3Thuha: I made them myself. I just posted the tutorial for them on my channel if you're interested :)

Victoria V: Wow is very cute thank you

x3Thuha: I usually use a Canon SD 1400 to film my videos; however, in this video, I used a Canon G5 because I couldn't find my other camera. As for the video editor, I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 :)

x3Thuha: That's great! I'm glad I posted this then :) I hope it'll be helpful for you ^___^

SweetxCandyyy: OMG. I just noticed your hair tinsels. Can you please do a tutorial on how to put it on yourself?? :O or how to put it on.
