Androgynous Hairstyles For Long Hair : Style My Hair!

Look today we're going to talk about an androgynous, hairstyle androgyny means it can be worn by either a man or a woman. So we're doing androgynous hairstyles for long hair. For me, the most androgynous hairstyle for men or a woman is a long ponytail. You see men with long ponytails and you see women with long ponytails. So this is what we're going to need for that. Look. Some trusty hair spray, a brush and a hair tie, so we're going to get started by brushing the hair going backward. If you want, you can keep a part in the center or if you don't want a part, you can just brush it back. It'S up to your personal taste. I'Ve actually seen a guy with a part in the middle, so you know it's not that far-fetched to leave it there. If you're a man, okay, just going to brush it back, get all the tangles out the hair and just get it to go where we need it to go smooth it out. We don't like knotty ponytails, I'm going to take just a little bit of styling wax. I'M going to warm it up in my hands just so it seems the flyaways on top and don't put too much just a little bit. You can always add more, but if you put too much, you can't take it away, you got to wash it out. Nobody wants that alright. So now we gather the hair from the bottom since we're doing androgynous. You can't do some high ponytail a guy's not going to wear that. So it's got to be a nice low, sleek Pony your going with our hair tie and wrap it around the hair as many times as you need to until the ponytail feels secure, I'm going to go one more time. She'S got a ton of hair and I don't want it to be loose and just tug at it just to make sure it's nice and tight to go in with some hairspray just to tame the flyaways adjust any little ooh stray hairs and you spray them into Place and if you're so inclined you can brush through the ponytail just to make sure it's laying down the way that you want it to and then you're done, look at it from the back.
