Hi I'm rodana from boys and girls hairstyles. Today I have TJ with me. She has the funnest haircut. I'M really excited to show you um. She loves it easy. She loves it off her forehead. So that's what I love love about this haircut um, because a lot that I do, people like bangs down or over across, so this is fun. This is a haircut that comes off of the forehead, which looks amazing on her um anyway. So I'm going to come back here, we're going to start in the back yeah! No TJ! Wasn'T it did you see my sister's haircut? Yes, yes, that's right, so she got my number from my sister anyway and it's been so much fun. We'Re really good friends and she comes all the time to get it cut and anyway, so it's fun. I met her through my sister okay. Now I'm just cleaning this up back here, yeah, it's always fun to um, get to know your clients and what they like. Um, the first time I ended up cutting her hair. You know we cut it, but she ended up. I said: okay now, just let me know what you think. You know if you need it shorter whatever anyway, and she ended up, calling me and going shorter, and so it's been fun to get to know her and she likes short so anyway, I'm excited to show you guys this and all my pickiness, no oh yeah. She she teases about her being picky and she is so not picky. She is not, but back here, I'm just holding my fingers um as close to her head as I can and depending on you know. Obviously, how big your fingers are is how short it's going to be to the Head so um. I actually have pretty big fingers so um just kind of keep that in mind uh we're taking a lot of this off at the top. She she likes. It really short and easy um. Okay, point cut, then of course right here we're going to hold tight against the head again. Her daughter just got married, so that was fun, but yet a relief to have it done. Oh yeah, it was really cool they had like. Instead of doing like a wedding dinner, they did a wedding breakfast and anyway it was such a fun idea. They, it was awesome. It was super fun. Okay, now coming to the sides, Point cutting into that and again, I'm coming. You know from about there and that's when I leave my fingers on on her head, so it's tight and then usually sometimes after I'll, come back and kind of clean that up. If I need to with the little buzzers okay, I'm just gon na take this length. Okay, all right and now this side same thing take that length short is good for TJ. She loves it yep fluff and go she says um. It was funny she I knew it would be bugging her because the last time she'd come um. We didn't go quite as short just because it was the wedding right after and she loves to go so short because it, it obviously lasts her longer, but she didn't want to go quite as short, obviously right before the wedding, so she we left it a tiny Bit longer than we usually do so, I'm like oh, I can't wait to talk to her. She is going to be going nuts because I knew just that little bit of length would make a huge difference on her haircut and it did didn't it yeah. She was like it's driving me nuts, especially like over the ears and stuff, because she likes it away from her ears cut over her ears and yeah. She definitely had hair by her ears kind of hanging over okay, so same thing is on the other side. I just comb everything here and then I just keep it tight and go straight up to take that length. Okay, awesome now up here we're going to come straight across okay, I'm just scooting over, like I'm, taking an extra little section here to cut okay. Now, on this side, we're going to come from this top this length and we're going to come over and around and usually right here - I just keep coming, but I'm going to kind of angle in a little bit because she likes it tight. Okay, so up here we'll come from the top come through this side, but right here, I'm taking that and I'm going to angle that in as tight as I can towards her her ear that way. Okay, so you see I'm just coming along, but this area Point cutting into that. Also, okay, now bring this I'm just combing this all down and then I'm going to cut right here just over her ear and what we can do after two is tighten that a little bit with the buzzer a little trimmer. Okay come up take this length. So that's on an angle, this way, okay, so this is up - and this is around this way. Okay, from this side, I'm just going to wet this down a tiny bit. Okay, we're going to come from this side. That way, you can see that guide point right here. That'S how long or you know what that's, how I know how much to take off is because of this guide point right there, okay, so see I'm going to angle in this way, and actually it might help for me to hold it this way. So you guys can know like from here we're gon na angle in so see how I'm taking more off at the bottom, you doing. Okay, TJ yep, you betcha, okay, good, all right! Okay! Now, I'm just gon na take this by her ear. It'S down! I'M gon na spray, this a tiny bit okay and then remember, come up this way up this way and that way, okay, so I am going to hold this and make sure all of this is the same length. I know it's going to be styled up, but I still like to make sure that you know the length is obviously the same too okay. So now I'm going to just double check with my fingers here and before I texture and stuff, I'm going to have her kind of feel. Do you want to feel and make sure that's short enough? We always do this. Make sure that it's short enough because, like I said she loves it short, but you can always take more off, so you ask them and then you can pretty good. If I tighten this a little, what we're gon na do is come through here. We'Re going to just texture a little bit through here, so it helps it stand up easier, the back, a tiny bit, okay, so um. What I'm going to do is bring in my comb. Sorry that it's broke. I ordered new ones. I'M going to bring the comb in and I hold it out a little bit, but this keeps the sides short, so she doesn't have to deal with it, so it doesn't poke out, doesn't get by her ear. So you can see I go in and then I hold it out, see, go in and hold it out and take that hair, and then that way you can just kind of go up with it. Okay, now I'm going to turn her to the mirror, so we can see how tight, probably a little bit tighter right through this area a little a little too bad, not too bad. Okay, let me just skip this one little area, okay and then I'm going to come over here bring this a little tighter foreign, it's funny how a little bit of length can like take so much time on short hair. Everybody looks at us like wait, you don't need a haircut and you're like oh, yes, I do okay, so that should be good and we'll we'll double check that after we dry it, so we can see how it dries um, but I'm going to put a little Bit of the mousse in okay and a little bit of the volume spray, okay now the bottom, I obviously just dry down. Thank you and then I just kind of turn this on low to where I can dry the sides down that we're gon na dry. The front up - and we kind of go to the one side now back here and then I go a little bit acrossing here. Mentoring in the Epic brush give her a little massage for a second, that's the best part. Okay. So now I'm gon na just grab some paste, so we can just just kind of separate this a little bit up through here. So you can see we kind of go a little bit to the left um. It'S funny she's like well, you just kind of see where it goes to and you just go with it. I'M like. Okay, that's perfect! I mean we usually go to the left, but she's like I want to do it the other way. She'S awesome. She teases that she's picky and she's, not okay, I'm gon na turn her to the mirror. So I can see what I'm doing. Oh my gosh, that's so cute. How does that feel? Does that feel about right? Looks good! Oh thank you so well. Thank you. Yeah! No kidding Kitty like excited to do your hair next, keep the beanie hat up yeah, exactly she's like I just throw on a beanie, I'm like cute, okay and just spray. This that's just such a fun style for her. Okay, now turn her around. So you guys can see how cute that is yay to get my free ride. Yeah, it's a free ride for the day.
