3 Quick & Easy Hairstyles Using Scrunchies | Jamie Johnston

Hi guys, so today's video is going to be a hair, styling video and I'm gon na be doing three different hair styles using scrunchies. Now these three hairstyles are so fast and so easy to do, and they're great for it. If you're on a rush or if you went to school or anything like that, because honestly they can get done within three minutes, I'm not kidding. Someone commented on one of my videos and I forgot the person's name. Sorry, but and yeah. Someone commented on one of my videos saying and can you do a hair styling video using scrunchies, and I never thought of that myself like I don't think I would of, and that is such a good video idea and more personally, I think so anyway, and because, Obviously I like doing hairstyles because I'm training to be a hairdresser and scrunchies are such a cute little accessory. So I thought it was perfectly new idea. So that is what I'm doing today and I hope you enjoy it and if you have any other video suggestions for me to do, leave them in the comments down below and I will most likely do it. I'M running out of video ideas and so yeah. Please pop some down below for me and I almost likely do it and, apart from please don't comment, makeup collection, because a lot of people have been asking me and it's not that I'm gon na not do it. I am doing it and I just need to buy two more things for my desk area and then that'll be me good to go and I'll have one up and within the next two months, I'm going to see and so yeah I'll have a makeup collection up Student, which is very exciting, and but anyway, this is a hair salon video. So if you want to see how I do three quick and easy hairstyles with scrunchies, then just keep on watching I've just brushed out my hair using my tangle teezer, which is amazing. It'S the best brush ever and if you have thick Tuggy, tangly hair like myself, then these are amazing for that kind of here and anyway. So I brushed up my hair and the first hairstyle we are going to be doing is just mooney a ponytail yep simple. As that all these hairstyles are and very simple, so to start off, I'm gon na brush up my hair back and just so it's nice and neat. Normally I do my hair quite messy, but I try and make my ponytails and like hey, rocks kind of me and wasn't as it can be, so I'm just gon na take my hair, I like section as if I was going to do and half-up half-down. So what I'm just gon na section it on my hair can still get quite tangley to take it like I'm gon na do half up to a Half Dome, and hopefully you can see that and I'm just gon na brush it and sorry. If I keep on looking and the viewfinder and using this as a mirror, it's all things not too annoying. So now I've got this section, I'm going to start bringing the underneath section up into the ponytail and because my hair shorter now sometimes not all of that - can fit into a ponytail. So there we go and I get my brush and I'm just gon na brush. It up the way just to smooth it all out and if any bits falling, I'm just gon na put them back into it, washing at Rockaway and making everything much more smooth. So now that I've smoothed everything out, I've got it all in my hand, and I'm gon na put our hair tie and tie it all up. Yeah, I'd only don't get that ring three times twos or not, then okay, so now that's in a ponytail and Michael, the tail is so bloody small. Now I remember when it used to come down to like here and it's so short now anyway. So I have three scrunchies here and I'm gon na be using hmmm, I'm gon na be using this scrunchie and this scrunchie was from Topshop. I believe - and I think it was only like four tyrants, which is quite good for Topshop cuz. You know they can be expensive and it wouldn't surprise me if, like priceless as ten pounds but yeah, so I'm just gon na get the scrunchie and just pull and with a previous hair tie is where the hair tie is. I'M just gon na tie it rent that, basically, so I'm gon na put it right twice. Just like I did with the hair tie and and as you can see, this scrunchie has like well your things, what you call them that so you can either like tie them around and tuck them under. So there is no ears which I mean it looks nice. That'S good and but I quite like the meat ears, so I'm just gon na we don't have to be like up up but yeah. So that's the first hairstyle, it's very simple and probably takes about a minute. To do. To be honest, so it's great when you are at the check-in to your style is going to be a bun with a scrunchie it wraps around it, and and just like the ponytail. You basically get up like ponytail and then wrap your hair around like a button and pop the scrunchie on, so it all sounds very easy, so, let's just get into it. So, just like the last hairstyle, the ponytail, I'm gon na scrape my hair back, like so um pick up during the half up half down and then adding these bits in and then using my brush to smooth everything. Okay, so I went in this bun kind of like not on top of my head, but not like as a little as what the problem was not that the bobble was low and I'm just gon na put it up a tiny bit higher. So just move it up a wee bit higher if you can see and just smooth out again, if any bit so I've gone into bumps, then I'm just gon na put a bubble around that and just tie it in tough one detail now that this is in A ponytail I'm gon na twist. This ball detail right the way around so just twist. The hair, like so just right, the way down to the bottom and don't worry if a lot of things like that come out like a mess up here, Quebec doesn't really make sense when I say that the first thing just keep on twisting it, and if you Have short hair like me, this won't work a lot as well as one here so now that you twisted that just wrap it great the way around and like the hair tie back. So it's like in a little bun like soap, then another hair tie, I'm just grab with this hand, grab the bond and in place the hair tie over it like you're, going around where the other hair tie was well. Where is so just pop that ring twice so you've got a little fun and if any of you guys have the same length of hair as mine or even shorter and bits like these little guys, for I then just and grab them, because I know there's gon Na be quite a while, so just grab them get a carbine and just and I'm just going to turn around soon the plane. You can see this, but but just just bring them up and just place them Carpy them. So they join em like just chill at the back of your neck and look anyway. So now that's an up fun and if you have any other bits randomly pull code, you can copy them down as well, and if you have baby here's her like. I do and you can either hairspray them down or just Chuck a major tears. I tend to just tuck them by my ears. I would sometimes here free them, but because I'm doing another hairstyle after this I'm not gon na hear speed. Because then my hair will feel disgusting and but yeah. So the next strategy I'm going to use, is this Coralie one and I'm almost positive. This is from Topshop as well. I think all my sweaters are from Topshop actually and so yeah, I'm just using this curly one, which is a perfect one for summer and spring. So I will be wearing this a lot anyway. So on my bun, I'm just gon na place this and just wrap it around. I think I'm my only rapper in once does that look okay, and that is the second hairstyle done again, really simple, quick and easy, and just a wee scrunchie on it and it looks really cute and so yeah. This isn't the most neatest as you can see, but it sucks, because my hair is short so they're not as many as it could be anyway looks fine. Hopefully it looks fine to you guys so now onto the third here. So this is a last and final hairstyle and it's actually my most favourite out of the three saving the best for last. So it's half-up half-down and I actually do this hairstyle a lot. It'S one of my go-to hairstyles and I occasionally do it with a scrunchie. So it's perfect for this video. Just like the last two hairstyles again, I'm gon na be scraping. It back - and I bet you're sick of me saying that now so scrape it all back and then take half of your hair and some people like to leave like these bits down. Personally, I like just putting them up just the personal preference. If you want to keep some die and keep some dying, but I like shoving it all up and all that just half off you know I mean so again just gon na smooth it all out. So there's no offs and bumps okay. So now that I've got half of my ear up in my hand, I'm gon na tie that with a hair, tie and wrap it round twice my hair used to be able to get round three chains in a bubble, and now it can only get it round Twice so so now that that's up, I'm just gon na get the hair bubble and just pull it like so and move it towards the top. Because when I wear my hair up half up when I wear my hair up, half up half down - and I like the hair bubble to be like on my head a little bit just say up some more volume and you know all that jazz. So now that is hot like so normally I just leave it like this, and I haven't really straighten my hair or anything well. I did like a day ago, but I've not done it today. So I'm sorry if it looks like hot mess anyway, so I know that that's up I'm going to get my last scrunchie, which is the school cut one also from Topshop, and I really really like best. This has wheat ears as well how cute so I'm just gon na wrap this scrunchie around and I'm probably gon na wrap it around twice because it just flopped, then just being wrapped right. One so obviously needs to be wrapped around twice. Then I'm gon na move that around so these ears are at the front, tuck cuz. We need these ears on show. These ears are quite bad, actually they're, quite in your face. I'M not gon na have these three years. Actually, I don't even know if these are called ears to be honest, but I'm not gon na have these bits up because they aren't quite like whoa in your face, so I'm just gon na have them down like that, and I still think that looks quite cute. I'M just gon na pull the ponytail up a wee bit more, and that is the finished today. Well, there is three hairstyles and you can do and use scrunchies with them as well. They are super fast, super quick and I personally love all of the hair sales and I love them with strategies as well, because it just adds a nice cute vibe to your look so yeah.
