Easy Hairstyles That Cover Your Ears

*Don't forget to watch in HD!

Here are 3 super duper easy hairstyles that I came up with for those of you that want to make sure your ears stay hidden throughout the day!

I would like to mention that I am in no way saying that those of us with ears that stick out SHOULD make sure that our ears are covered ALWAYS, that's just silly. Everyone has their flaws and everyone is self conscious about something, for me and those that requested this video, it just happens to be our ears.

It's exactly like wanting to cover up acne with makeup, you obviously don't HAVE to worry about blemishes on your face because there are tons of people that struggle with acne and understand when others have it (I certainly fall into this category as well.) However, there are days where you would rather just put on a full coverage foundation and not worry about it! I hope that makes sense, and I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial :)

You guys say I'm doing a hair tutorial. It'S going to be my easy spring. Hairstyles, of course, hide pig ears because that's kind of a thing these are just really easy. Cute hairstyles that you can do you just want a little extra something rather than just leaving your hair. Natural like mine, is right now I'll have done so far. Is I got on a shower sprayed this pure Brazilian leave-in conditioner on it? That'S what it looks like once my hair was up in a towel for a little while and was kind of like towel dried. I sprayed the beach babe texturizing sea salt spray, since I not your mother's, that's what it looks like and then just let it dry, naturally the rest of the way - and this is what I was left with honestly. That'S the salt spray is amazing, for if you just want to not use heat on your hair and just let it dry and it's not be like frizzy or you know awkward. This is very minimal product minimal heat, very easy. If you can braid, you can do this and you can learn how to braid in ten seconds. If you don't know how I swear it's the easiest thing ever this video was requested. So thank you so much to Valentina Perez ballets, I'm! So sorry, if I just butchered your name before I jump into this hair tutorial, I just want to introduce you to the new member of the family and I know she's going to be calling at me the whole time I'm sitting here. This is zinnia. My new baby - she is about eight weeks old, so she's still a tiny little baby. She just brings so much happiness and light to my life. I just I'm in love with her. Are you in love with me too? She melts my heart on the daily. The hourly the minute Li okay, say: bye, she's, probably gon na, like climb up my back in this video because she loves doing that. Let'S get into this hair tutorial, I am going to just talk you guys through this. I was originally going to do like a voiceover, but it's so much easier to explain what I'm doing as I'm doing it. Okay, I just had to reevaluate my whole life. I realized I was wearing highlighter before so what the hell! I suddenly not this like red scratch on my eyeball. I don't know if you guys can see it. It'S like right here, it's very blurry. I honestly have no idea how it happened. All of a sudden, my Ida started hurting I was like, and then I realized I was trying to do my hair in this tiny makeup mirror. I couldn't see what the hell I was doing. I apologize in advance if the lighting is completely horrible. Now that was really stressful and I got really hot, so I had to take my Oprah thing off that I was wearing before so now. If you like see my drops coming out and everything just, I feel so much better. Now the Texas see what I'm doing. I have highlight my nose is still running and my eye is blurry and red, but you know we're just going to work past that back to this tutorial look number one is basically just a braid. That'S going to go down and it's going to cover your ear and it's going to be wonderful. So that's basically what I'm doing I'm going to section out to the very beginning, part of my fringe, not necessarily to be getting part, but just like a thin layer. All along your hairline about there just to keep that out of the way for right now, I'm going to pin it by twisting it and just going to put a bobby pin right here: okay, so that is pinned out of the way. So now I'm just going to Dutch braid this part all the way down to the top of my ear, except I'm going to leave a little section above my ear, probably about just enough to cover your ear. Still, it's really easy. I suck at braiding my own hair, so I'm probably not going to make it look easy. So if you want to take a few minutes to learn how to do that in order to do this, then go for it. This called a Dutch braid - it's basically French braiding, but inside out, so that the braid sits on top instead of underneath. I don't know I just like: don't have the coordination to do it on myself, but I can rock them out on other people like no other regular braiding like if so easy. I learned how to regular braid in like ten seconds but as far as Dutch braiding, my freaking nose is leaking. So if you can French braid or Dutch braid your own hair, then you're probably going to do so much better than I do. Braid your hair. All the way, until there's just enough hair to cover your ear and then you're going to continue to just do the regular Dutch braid. So once I braid it as far down as I can go, I'm going to grab the braid a little bit higher up, because I have a little bit of layering down here and I'm just going to start pulling it to make it loose and just make the Braid itself, fatter, the starting point of braids is really what I struggle with. So if it doesn't look too great up, there don't worry about it once your hair is pulled apart and it's a big fat braid, you can go ahead and take the bobby pin that you were using to hold this section and you can go ahead and pin Where you want it to sit right above your ear, you don't have to worry about it being pretty or hidden right now, because we're going to end up taking that right back out. But first we are going to take the end of the braid. Pin that to the back of your head, basically, so if I do it pretty much as tight as I can right now, when I take this bobby pin out later, it won't be like super loose. If that makes any sense at all so yeah, I'm just going to bobby pin the back here, I usually do like to underneath the braid holding it for support and then one facing the other way like this and then the best part is taking out this bobby. Pin if it'll come out here we go and then you just have that braid, that's just sitting right over the top of your ear and it's holding it down. If you are worried about your ear popping out over the braid and then you can go ahead and keep that bobby, pin in or you can, you know, put the logging back in just a little bit more conceals a little bit under the braid kind of interweaved. Of all you pin, so it's not super obvious, and then you really don't have to worry about your ear popping out, because you have that bobby pin holding the braid right over your ear again, I'm going to leave about that much out Dutch braid this side as Well, this Dutch braid is going to be like a baby compared to the other side. It'Ll still be really cute, so yeah, that's basically as far down as I can go before. I need to just do the regular Dutch braid cuz. I do still want a layer of hair covering my ear again just going to pull it, I'm going to pull this one a little bit extra to just to try to make it look as big as the other side, even though that's probably not going to happen. The other side had a lot more hair in the braid to work with okay. So again, you can go ahead and just pin it right above your ear first before putting it back behind your head, I'm with that other one, the pins just to make sure that's even back there and then finish, take the bobby pins out and just to make Sure this side, I feel like my ear, is actually going to pop out, because the string is a little bit thinner. He is kind of going to sit right behind my ear. So this is an instance where I would go ahead and keep the bobby pin in there, but I'm going to try to kind of seal it a little bit in the front of the braid and then stick the bobby pin kind of in the middle of the Braid, I am going to go ahead and take my curling iron and just wave these pieces away from my face just kind of help the whole it it kind of helps the look look a little more put together. This was super just natural kind of look. So I don't want to be super tight just want to be a pretty loose curl, so I only hold that for a few seconds, because you have the front section like sectioned away from the rest of the hair, you can totally get away with not curling the Rest of your hair and just curling these pieces around your face. Don'T get me wrong. You totally can curl your hair before doing this style and it's going to probably look ten times cuter or you can go ahead and just take a minute to half-ass curl. You know the ends that are still sticking out, but I love just the idea of very minimal heat being able to just throw two braids in your hair to give it a little loop and then just curling the pieces right on your face looks like it took. Maybe more than a few minutes, but really it only took a few minutes here. Is the completed first look so. The second look is kind of similar in the way that it's like a half up, half down style with braids incorporated. So with this one. It'S the same thing: you section out your bank section, the braid behind it, isn't going to be a French braid at all. It'S just going to be like a regular braid, I'm going to do a regular, fishtail braids, because I feel like fish tails with this particular hairstyle looks so cute. You can do a Dutch one. I can't I'm going to do a Dutch one. For some reason. Dutch braids are so much easier for me. This is going to look tiny at first, if you're, using a tiny section like me, and if you have fine hair like me, but we're going to do the same thing as the last tutorial and kind of pull it out to be bigger so that it'll look Better, I was getting tired. I need to work out like I said, my hair is pretty fine pretty soon, so I can't really get big fat. Pretty braids like people with thick hair can, but this is just going to be a little accent, so I'm really not worried about it, tie this off with a rubber band for right now, so that was part one just doing a little fishtail up there so part Two is I'm going to make another fishtail right above my ear, take your crown section and just section the crown part of your hair out and then so that there's a fishtail laying over your ear, you're, probably going to want a section like that think. Unless what they're, still here like a layer of hair covering your ear, so I will go in and do another fishtail picture that with the little rubber band. So, just like the last one, we're basically going to secure this down with a bobby pin right above the ear, so that something is pressing down on your ear to hold it down. I'M going to try to put the bobby pin in the middle of the braid and then leave it in there. So we have that bobby pin right by the ear so that this braid is sitting on top of our ear and the bobby pin right above our ear, is kind of holding that braid in place so that, hopefully our ear doesn't pop out of the half-up half-down Style I'll go ahead and let that down now we have the parade underneath there it de parada, on top of here, we are just going to gently pull this half of our hair back leaving. This braid here exposed the cute little touch, but it's also helping hold out your down. I know if I wouldn't have done this braid in the bobby pin, and I just tried covering it like this. My ear would be sticking out really far. Oh, my god, my nose is getting slow red my eyes burning. First, I am going to leave a little bit of bang out, still pull it back and make sure that it's covering that bobby pin that we placed there. You can either pin it back there or you can take the other side, do the same thing and do like a bun back there, which is usually what I do, but I'm having a really hard time getting through this video, like I'm doing sicker and sicker my Eye is burning, so I'm going to go ahead and show you guys what I would do if I was just pinning it rather than doing the bun, because the bun does take a little bit longer. We are just going to pretend that I have another braid on this side covering this ear. This is actually a good comparison, because it'll show you what it would look like. If I didn't do a braid and just tried pulling this back, it kind of poof out a lot more. You can see that my ear is kind of right there. If I had a brain and a bobby pin right above my ear, then it would kind of stay down not being said. You can totally still do this. If you don't mind a little bit of pouf on the sides we get used to that having big ears. Having a little bit of poop on the sides, it's not a big deal, so you totally can just take like the top section of your hair and gently pull it back and pin it in the back kind of loosely covering your ears and that totally still works. But if you want a little more secure method - and you don't want your ear to possibly pop out so I do recommend doing the braid with the bobby pin right above it instead of just pulling it back. So so don't judge the very half-ass back pinning because I'm trying to just get through this at this point, but here is the finished. Second look. Okay, I just have to take a quick break, Craig some water. We apply my lipstick. I was feeling really sick. I think we're good to finish this video. I had few more to show you guys, but I think I only have one more hairstyle in me right now, so I'm gon na go ahead and show you guys one more hairstyle and I'm just going to make another video soon of like summer hairstyles, because these Are really like spring summer, hairstyles so number three, this one's going to be all up I'll, go ahead and show you guys on one side, with the tie trick on one side without the tie trick and if you have no idea what the tie trick means. That means you haven't seen any of my other you're pinning videos, it's a really simple trick where you just take the hair right in front of your ears, leaving just like this bit out, leaving the bit out that actually isn't right in five years. So it's going to thin this out of the way. Take this and a section back here, you can do this pretty low, because basically, what this hairstyle is going to be is too low, buns grabbing a little rubber band, I'm going to just tie it my ear back with hair. So, in the way - oh, my god, all the hair from the top of the ear up - has got to go okay. So now my ear is totally pinned down there. You'Re going to take your face, framing basically all the hair in front of your ear, and you are going to French twist it that sounds way more complicated than it is. I swear this is the easiest thing to do in the world. You just take this top section like you're, going to French braid. It down divide it in half and just fold it over each other grab the next section down, combine it to one of the sections and twist it again, and basically just do that. All the way down, just like that super duper easy and then tie that with the little rubber band and I have lost well. I lost my little rubber band, but I'm going to use a hair tie to just tie this for right now divide the back section of your hair in half, I'm just going to make two little buns in the back. So how I do that is I'm just going to twist my hair and then literally just twist it into a bun. It can be as messy or as neat as you want it to be, or, as you can get it messy, probably for the butter, because it's kind of hard to get at me unless you bobby pin the out of it once you have a bun, you can Go ahead and secure it with a hair tie, you're, probably going to have to go in with bobby pins. If you have layers like me, I have this little bun. You can go and do the same thing on the other side before moving forward, but I only have these two hair ties in here: cuz, it's time to dingus and my French twist came out. So I'm just going to go ahead and French twist this again. So now, if I listen up a little bit, I like to pull everything: it's like a braid, a little bit looser with this one, I'm just going to wrap it around the bone with bobby pin it in place. I love having it all just swept up. So I'm going to do the same thing on the other side and just have two little low buttons like I said, I'm going to leave this side without the tie so that you can see that you still can do it without the tie. But if you do have like ears that are really hard to hold down, then I would recommend going ahead and just doing the tie trick turns out that you can still totally see the tie right there cuz, I didn't. Do it low enough, you can probably just go ahead and poof out your hair a little bit. You might want to do that anyway, just to cover with the top of your ear right there again just leave out a section to go ahead and French twist. This section is all just going to be twisted into a bun. I like suck it every single bone. That'S not a high messy bun! So I apologize if these are very shitty. Half bath bum long as they resemble buns on the back of your head, then you're totally fine. I am going to go ahead and French twist this all the way down, just like weed on the other side, maybe I'll just leave like a little piece right here. I feel like I have to pull some out on this side. Let it loosen a little bit same as before, I'm going to snap it around and then Bubba pin it into place. I just like lost that long time I was, as you can see, if that twist totally held down my ear without the tie like on this side. I do love this hairstyle because it gets it completely off my neck, which feels amazing. It looks like it's a lot more effort put in it actually was. I don't really like the look of just like one low bun. I feel like it just looks weird, but the two low buns, I feel like, looks so cute. Alright. So here is the final. Look look number three, all right guys, I'm so sorry! I was a hot mess in this video. I really hope I can edit this to be usable, because I feel like crap to be honest, here's to hoping that it went decent and that you guys like these hairstyles, but regardless, I really have to guys enjoyed this video. Let me know if you guys recreate any of these hairstyles, I would love to see them feel free to send me pictures on Instagram or whatever. Thank you guys so much for your continued support. I really really appreciate it. You have no idea, and I will see you releasing the next video bye, guys
