3 Minute Braided Updo For Short/Medium Length Hair

Hi everyone today we're doing a seemingly complicated braided updo. That is actually really really easy to accomplish. Let'S go ahead and get started, I'm going to apply some mousse to keep all my layers in because it's really choppy this particular one is spy finesse, but you can use whatever you have now. You use about this much we're going to tie our hair up and a half of tail, but leave a small section out on the side when you go in on the side from ripe of the year and over here from where my temple is okay. Now you want to dig a hole and turn the ponytail and push it through like that very easy, with the hair that you've left aside, you want to do a simple braid and you want to secure this with an elastic as well. I'M just going to take this braid and wrap this around the base of that ponytail and pin it underneath right here with two bottom pins crossing each other. It divided the bottom into three parts and braid it toward the top. Try your best to incorporate all the small pieces of the shorter hair into the braid. I'M going to do it as tight as you can and just secure the ends with and a less ugly taking the spray and tucking it into this hole here and then just pin that down. Usually, I can just use a smaller bobby pin to hold everything down, but I thought I would use a huge one, so you can see where this thing is going. So we want to pick up a little bit of hair at the end before the elastic and then you're going toward the top right, just push it back down into the hole and that's going to help. You hold the braid up there when I go in with the smaller one now to give an extra hold doing the same thing. Lastly, we're just going to go in with some hairspray to get rid of all the flyaways, so this is, it feel, free to accessorize. If you want here is final, look, it's kind of complicated that it's actually super easy to do hopefully enjoyed the tutorial. Let me know how it works up for you thanks so much for watching I'll, see you soon.

Nicole Iannarone: This is SO cute, and SO perfect for me right now! I've been really into quick braided, twisty updo's that look complicated but are really just quick and easy.. I'm going to do this tomorrow, and I'm excited to see how I can tweak it to suit my longer hair (it goes to a little bit past the middle of my back) - a bit more weaving and wrapping, lol. Thank you SO much for this awesome video!! Have a great weekend!!

I'll be doing this style for New Years (Hogmanay!!) and next I'll try the heat free curls, which I hope will work on my thick, layered mid length hair...

Yoya*_*: This is a super cute & easy to make hair do! I'm always looking for ways to do my hair without damaging it and/or ironing/curling too much/often. Thx for sharing, I'm definitely doing this one, specially cause it's perfect for going out, work or as an every-day due. Thx again!!!! =)

Miuvial: For all those whose hair is just a tad too short for this updo: Since my hair is still too short for the braid to come up to the hole of the flipped half-up, i simpy twisted the hair in the bottom instead of braiding it and then brought it up. Looks not as elegant as the braided version but still works!

Beauty and the Barn: This is awesome! My hair is still a bit too short for this, but I will try it when it's long enough. :) Thank you!

YaYaLifestyle: @JayandMaia Have you tried my any of my overnight heatless curls? A lot of ppl with hard to curl hair got great results with my heatless dolly curls. If you're using a curling iron, you can try pinning the curls down with clips, hairspray, and let them down after they've completely cooled off. The curls would last a lot longer :) Lemme know how everything works out!
