Do not to burn myself, it's not good! Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. My name is a Rachel. If you're new here, I hope, you'll hit that little red subscribe button and join the fan because we'd love to have you today, I'm going to be showing you my top 5 super easy ways that I styled this short bob. Let'S take it back for a second and have a little bit of a storytime about this cut if you're like girl, I don't want to hear about your cut. I just want to see the styles then feel free to skip ahead and not listen to me ran a ball if you've been following along with my hair journey recently about a month ago, I cut my hair into the short bob that it is now. I'Ve actually had this hairstyle for quite a while, but it was just kind of cleaning up some other things that needed to be fixed. If you want to see that cut and how I talked to my stylist about it and what I had before, I will have that video linked here and here so that you can go check that out literally. Oh I hit 24 hours after I posted that video and, like a 360 view of that cut on my Instagram, I hopped on my stories, and I was already posting about other cuts that I wanted like shorter cuts, so really quick backstory. I have had this short bob now for a while, probably like over a year. However, I've had a really tough time, finding a stylist that I liked in the way that they cut it, and so honestly, the last like few cuts have been Corrections of things that had gone wrong. Previously, my back was super wonky. My back was like in a point my back was totally like at an ankle and then my back was straight, but it was like really really texturized on this side and not really texturize on this side and then, like literally Kyle myself and my mom took to My hair, to kind of even that out, so we even know the texture here, but there still was like things that we couldn't so this last cut was literally like fixing all the things, and my hair was finally at a place where it was like fixed and As soon as I fixed, it was like great as fixed, and then I was like a ham board. So in a couple of days, maybe tomorrow, depending on when this goes up, I'm gon na go get it cut, probably pretty drastically. I'Ve been looking at like the whole pipsy hypsi pixie bomb situation. I will never call it a pop, but I feel like that's such a weird name. Pixie Bob is super cute, though, and also I love that when you put in hashtag pixie Bob on Instagram its pictures of super cute haircuts and super cute cats, so that's a win for everybody, so I basically just wanted to show you really quickly all the ways I generally wear my hair so be on the lookout for another haircut vlog coming very soon, and the lot of y'all were like so mad, but I didn't show the actual cutting but here's the deal so people are gon na have to cut hair differently depending on How your hair is what it lies so like. I understand that we're watching a cut is fascinating, but it's also like a matter of practicality, so I'm going to try to show you more of the cut but also realize like, even if you were to get the same exact cut, your stylist might achieve it differently Or they might have to achieve it differently because your hair is different than right. So you know keep that in mind enough chitchat. Let'S get to styling your hairstyle number one. I am just gon na. Do my hair straight, so I really go for a deep part. Over here, so I let my hair air dry last night. Sometimes I brush it. Sometimes I don't. If I do brush it, I'm using my wet brush - and I am literally just like combing it straight back and then I just kind of like let it be, and I take it my ears mostly because that's just the least annoying way for my hair to air Dry, as you can see, my hair is very straight on its own, which is why this is one of my top 5 hairstyles that I wear all the time, because basically it takes no effort. So what I am gon na do is I'm gon na take my flat iron. This is the HSI I do have it linked below in my Amazon shop and I just kind of like I don't want to take out too much volume from the root, because volume is hard to come by with my hair. I just do like a slight bend to the ends so that it kind of follows that shape of the bob. I do always like to focus on this piece right here and make sure it's straight, because I always do the top, but I always leave a little in front. I do also need to like go in here in the back and like flip under some of these pieces cuz. Sometimes the back of my hair just lays super weird. So anyway, it's probably why I just want to chop it all off. Okay same thing over here: nothing crazy, just a little bit on the ends so that it lays nice again, I'm not going for like a full-on curl under here, just a little bit of a bend so that it follows that shape again back here, cuz! Oh sometimes I won't even touch this front part because I tuck it behind my ear, like I said when I'm letting it air dry, and I really like the nice like little swoop that it kind of gives me here it just like frames. My face a little bit better than having that like hard straight line, but I really like, for the life of me, can't recreate that swoop with my flat iron, so I'm just gon na not touch it today. I'M gon na, like do some of these pieces. Back a little bit, though, just to try to get some of that hair up and out of my face. This is so heavy, so much higher you can put stuff in it. I generally don't, when my hair is straight I'll, maybe hit it with a little bit of my iron Cove trophy shine and texture spray. Just a little bit like right here, craziness, alright style number one done style number two is something that I love it for second day hair when this is getting a little greasy, and I don't want it hanging in my face or where I am like doing some Sort of activity where I don't want my hair hanging in my face, so I'm just gon na take this hair from the top of my crown. You can see it's kind of thick back there. I take a lot of it and I am going to split it into three and I'm just going to braid it. I'M gon na go about two inches back and I'm going to push forward and secure it with two bobby pins. This is kind of like my take on the poof, except when I used to do the poof I used to have to tease the heck out of my hair to get it to stay, and I didn't like that, and it just takes a lot of time, whereas This takes no time and you can play with the like height of it. You can pull it back for less volume. I kind of like a good, a good poof, and then I will either leave my hair straight or I will curl it. It totally just depends on the like vibe that I'm rocking that day, but I do like to go in and kind of like give that like a little bit of a bend at the root, because this side always has less volume than this side. Because that's just it's so heavy and that's where my hair naturally hangs there, we go so easy. What did that? Take like 30 seconds per hairstyle number three again, it's like another 30 seconds to achieve, but when I'm wanting to pull a little bit more, I really like to keep that pouf going. But when I want like a half up half down, look, I just pull back a little bit more of the sides grab a teeny, tiny pony that I use on my girls pop it in there bill Stan number four is just my like: loose curl, beachy wave Situation, I'm not going to do a lot to this like back and bottom section, because, honestly, you just don't see it, but I'm gon na pay attention to these front pieces. I'M just gon na give it like a slight Bend and kind of pull down and I am alternating the direction, but I always start away from my face. That'S all I do to the bottom. Alright. So now I'm going to take this top section down, as you can see, I'm too lazy to like section my hair out whole bunch of times, so I just don't do it and then I work from the back for usually sometimes I do the forward back, but Don'T worry too much, it's like every single pieces curls, because the whole point is that it's just kind of like Messi, again making sure this front piece flips away from my face, and then I kind of do my normal top and see how I like it. I like to leave the ends pretty straight because otherwise they do this like weird flip out thing, but I don't love see like this. So when I get these weird flippy outy pieces, I just kind of like to straighten them down all right put my fingers through it. So it just kind of gives you this, like loose wave a little bit of texture, sometimes I'll, go back in and put like a little bit more in certain sections like a little bit more of a curl like a more pronounced girl. But for the most part I just want like a little bit of a movement, so it's just not so straight boom, okay! So for this in order to help hold this, I definitely put my texture spray through here and that's it. Okay team it down a little bit, but not too much. Okay, it's down before done blast. I will just kind of take this little piece here and I pin it back with two bobby pins: where did they go almost to like fake the undercut look without actually having an undercut, and I generally do this when my hair has like a little wave or Curl to it, because otherwise I feel like my hands kind of crazy when it's straight so sometimes I'll fix like a little curl situation over this piece with a little hairspray. Oh look at the baby hairs good going! Oh bt-dubs! This is the ripken trouble take 30 to that I've probably used in every hair tutorial in the last like year and a half cuz. That'S how long. I thought it because I don't wear hairspray in my hair that much let's be real okay done, so that is it. Those are the top five easy easy ways that I style. This short hair stay tuned because I'm very excited, but also very nervous. I'Ve never gone as short as I plan to go, so I'm excited and you'll definitely be coming along with me on some sort of journey, as I learn how to style it because it will be like a whole new ballgame. For me, I've been watching like all the Chloe Brown tutorials to be like. I can do this. I can do this. Look how cute she looks. I can do this, you don't know who Chloe is.
