Hey guys welcome back to my channel. This is going to be another hairstyling tutorial and this time it's going to be all about scrunchies. I am very obsessed with scrunchies. I have more scrunchies than i'd like to admit, but they're, so cute and they're, so fun and they're so easy to style. So i wanted to share a few different ways that you can style up your hair with a scrunchie, and these styles will work for long and short hair as well. So let's jump straight into style number one. This is going to be kind of like a high half pony and i've been doing a style a lot over the last few weeks and it's very cute and it's very 90s, and it gives me all the spice girls vibes. So i love it. So i'm just gon na separate this very top section like so, and it's okay. If it's a bit messy, it doesn't need to be super super neat and i'm also gon na leave out kind of like my bangs, these bits that fall around the front. I never normally have my hair like scraped off my face just because i don't know, i don't really like it. So i think my hair is a little bit of a comfort blanket for me, but anyway, so now that i've separated this top section. I'M going to take this scrunchie this one's from brush salon, it's very, very cute and i like the little bits i hang down as well, so i'll leave a few links in the description box if you're looking for any scratches. So i'm just going to secure my hair and with scrunchies like this, where they've got the little bits that hang down, you want to just make sure that they're positioned nicely because it'll be harder to reposition them once the scrunch is tight. So i'm just going to pull it tight and make sure that it kind of sits at the top of my head and we are done, and that was super super easy and look at how cute this is, and it's quite nice when you can see these little Bits that hang down as well - and i really like this color - because it's well it's a big contrast now that i have very dark roots, but it's it's quite nice that it like stands out against my hair, so i'll show you from the back. Yes, this is a very, very spice girl, 90s and i am all for it. Okay for style number, two, it's gon na be another half pony, but this time we're gon na take a little bit more hair. So i'm just gon na separate the hair out, and this is gon na - be quite a relaxed and low half pony. So again i don't want it to be too neat. So i'm just gon na pull out a few little pieces from around my face, and then this time i am going to take this very cute, leopard print scrunchie. This is kind of like a silky material and again it's got these long bits that i hang down and i really really love this crunch. This is one of my favorite scrunchies, because it feels really nice and the leopard print is really cool. This is from dew. They have loads of great scrunchies as well, so i'm just gon na secure the scrunchie and again make sure that the little bits that hang down are positioned nicely so that they hang well in my hair and i'm just going to loosen it up on the sides. Just a little bit so it doesn't sit too tight and there we go so easy. Okay, so style number three is gon na be very similar, but a little bit different. So what i'm gon na do is i'm gon na make this into a plain scrunchie. Without these little long bits, so when you get scrunchies like this, it's basically just another piece of material, that's like wrapped around it, so you can undo them and then you're left with just a plain scrunchie on its own. So i'm going to do the exact same thing and just separate out this top section of hair and secure the pony. Okay. So now that this first pony is done, we're then going to create a second pony with another scrunchie. So i'm going to use this yellow one again with these little bits that hang down, i did used to have a matching leopard print scrunchie and it went really well together and it looked really cool when it matched, but i can't find it anywhere. So i think this will complement the leopard quite nicely, so what i'm going to do is basically just scoop up the rest of my hair into a very loose pony. I don't want the pony to be too tight, so i want it to still be a little relaxed and i also want to make sure that the little bits hang down hang and are positioned quite nicely as well. So this is what it looks like from the front and then you can just kind of pull it around the side as well um. Hopefully that looks okay from your view. I do have my little mirror down here, just to kind of show me the back of my hair, but it's quite hard to see. So hopefully it looks okay but yeah. This is a very, very cute style, very easy to do, and it's just a little bit more special and jazzy than like a simple half a pony so on to look number four. This time i am gon na. Do a ponytail i'm using one of the scrunchies, which one should i use. I think this time i will use this very cute baby blue one. It kind of matches my house it like blends into my walls. Isn'T it this one is also from dew, and this time i'm gon na do a high pony, maybe this time i'll do a slicked back pony. This is like my workout look very, very simple: to do just a very easy ponytail and secure on top with the scrunchie, and that is literally it and what i like about scrunchies is. They tend to kind of like poof up your hair a little bit. So you can pull them quite tight and i really do like, like a high high pony and there we go so again, very very easy. You don't even need to get a brush involved and sometimes as well i'll, just kind of pull bits around my face. Just so i have those little bangs and it looks cute as well. Okay, so the next style is gon na, be a high messy bun, and this time i'm gon na use this very cute, pink nut, pink purple, um, tie-dye scrunchie, also from dew, and i really like that it has these little bits that hang down as well, and These are really cute when you do it in a bun, so i'm gon na do a high bun and just scoop the hair to the top of my head and then this time i think i'm just gon na pull down my bangs bring those bangs back and Then i'm just going to pull down a few bits of hair just from around the sides too. So it's quite nice and messy, and then i'm just going to test the top into a little bun and secure with the scrunchie okay. So that is the bun done, and then you can either choose to leave these bits kind of hanging down, so you can see them from the front or what you can do is just bring them around the bottom of the bun and then just tie them there. If you want to get them out of the way and then um, i do have like little baby hairs right at the bottom of my head, so you can just take some uh bobby pins and then just secure those up as well. If you want to neaten up a little bit so the second to last style is going to be another bun, but this time it's going to be a low bun, so take this out so for this next style. I'M going to use this very lovely emerald, green velvet scrunchie, this is from brush and it has a really really good elastic in there. This is a very, very good scrunchie, so i'm just gon na pull the hair kind of to the nape of my neck and with the style you want it to be very messy. So it's okay, if little bits are falling out. This will work really well. On short hair as well, i think it'll look really cool, so i am just going to kind of double up my hair and wrap the scrunchie around and just pull in bits of hair, still keeping it quite messy and then just loosen up the side so that It'S not full too tight and then i'll, usually just kind of pull at the bun just to make it a little bit bigger and if any pieces of hair fall out it's all right. This is what it looks like from the front. It'S a very, very cute style and i love to wear my hair, like this style, with like a barrette as well. They look really really cute and then the final look is one that i do a lot during the summer time and it's just a very, very easy and loose plaid. So i think i'm just gon na do a one-sided, plait and just pull my hair now i'll. Do the other side pull my hair to this side and basically just do a very, very loose plait. I used to be able to do a fishtail braid, and now i can't so. I need to like re-learn how to do a fishtail braid because they look so cool and they are really easy to do once. You'Ve got the neck, but i've just completely forgotten. You could also do like a french braid, but i'm just gon na do a little side plat for now, and then i'm gon na secure the ends with which one should we go with. Let'S go with this, this little yellow one. I really like this one. It'S really nice color, so i'm just going to secure it. With this. That looks really cute with the little bits that hang down and then we are done and then you can just use a some bobby pins as well, because obviously these bits are gon na come out. So i might just secure with a bobby pin - and we are all done so that took like literally 30 seconds to do it so so easy. And i like doing this style when um, when my hair's greasy or if i just haven't, been bothered to blow dry or style it or anything, and it's just a nice very, very easy and quick style, especially for summer after you've been in the ocean and stuff. It'S very very nice, so those are my seven ways to style a scrunchie. All the styles are super easy and quick to do you don't even need a brush. You can just do more with your hands and hopefully that's given you a little bit of inspiration. I will leave a few links in the description box to a few different scrunchy brands. If you want to go and take a look at those - and if you want to see more of my videos, then please do hit the red subscribe button. Thank you.
