Beautiful Prom & Wedding Hairstyles For Short/Medium Hair | Luxy Hair

Which constructs a guy's welcome back to lucky hairs channel. It is that time of year again, prom is just around the corner, and in today's video I'm going to be showing you three different prom hairstyle on short to medium hair length. This is amazing. If you're doing your own hair or you're doing your friend ear or just inspiration to bring to your hairdressers, of course, these hair styles are totally suitable for a longer hair length or even for your lucky hair extensions. But I wanted to show you these hairstyles on my natural hair length, which is a little bit more on the short medium side. I hope you guys enjoyed this video and let's get started so this first turtle is so classy. I absolutely love it. So what I'm doing is just parting, my hair on the side and then splitting my hair in half, so that we have two sections to work with, starting on the side that has the less amount of hair we're going to be taking a curling wand and I'm Taking the piece of hair and wrapping it away from my face, this hairstyle really depends on the way you curl your hair. So you want to make sure the side that has the less amount of hair is curled away from your face, and especially by your ear, you don't want to go too close to the root of your hair, just because we are going to be putting it behind Our ear - and we don't want that weird wave so put the pieces by my ear, I'm starting the curl a little bit lower and then everywhere else I'll go a little bit higher. The reason you're curling this section, all away from your face is because it really just enhances that vintage hairstyle. Look. So just continue doing this with the rest of this section once the section is complete, just spray it with a light holding hairspray so that it's getting those flyaways but not making it rock hard. Now, I'm moving on to the main section. This side obviously has more hair on it. For the back part of this section, you want to curl it away from your face. Still, you're only going to be doing this at the back section of your hair once we're closer to our ear, we're going to be flipping the direction of the curl to towards our face. So this is really again going to enhance that vintage. Hairstyle. Look so from just before the ear to the front of our face: we're going to be curling all of our curls towards our face when it comes to the very front section, I'm taking the curling wand and really wrapping my hair around it tight and really pushing It back so I have that nice vintage wave in the front once it's complete, I'm just spraying it with the light hold hairspray and then we're going to take a brush and just lightly brush through the curls so that it becomes more of a wave rather than A curl once all the curls are brushed through I'm taking the light, hairspray again and just really spraying down any flyaways or frays. Just because this hairstyle really is enhanced to enact a little bit more sleek and smooth looking rather than messy. You can honestly see such a difference when you brush it out and spray it. It just looks so smooth and so pretty so we're just going to do the same thing. On the other side, this hairstyle is like the ultimate classy hairstyle look vintage, and it really just gives that old Hollywood vibe to the look moving on to hairstyle, I'm just using the same curls that I had in my hair for the previous hairstyle, but I am Taking this texturizing hairspray to really just give me some volume and then I'm just going through the top section of my hair and I'm taking it in sections and just teasing it so that there's some more height and volume once it's a good height, I'm just spraying. It with that light, hairspray again and then I'm taking some bobby pins and I'm just sectioning off that top part of my hair and pinning it in place so that that volume doesn't fall throughout the night for the rest of the hair. It is so easy to do you're just going to gather it as if you're doing a ponytail and then start twisting it as if you were doing a bun. We are going to leave the ends of your hair out, especially if you have those curls in it. It just really enhances the look. I'M just taking the bobby pins and pinning the twists in place make sure it's secure so that it doesn't move turning around you're just going to play with the curls that are falling on top. This is really up to you on how you want to style it. I'M just pinning some pieces that I felt were too long and just getting a little out of control, but take your time here and you do want some pieces falling out just to kind of add to the messy high bun look. I love this hairstyle. I think it is absolutely striking and if you have a really statement dress, especially in the back, this would be the perfect hairstyle now for the last pair style. I am parting, my hair just off-center and making sure to leave out pieces to free my face and then I'm just going to go around the back section of my hair and lightly backcomb it just to make sure that that volume is still there now, I'm using This really pretty jeweled hairband for this hairstyle you don't have to, but I just think it gives that little added touch to the hairstyle, so I'm just placing it on my head making sure I like the placement and then wrapping it around and tying it underneath. My hair and then with any extra pieces, just flipping it under the band now for the rest of my hair, even though I think it looks pretty just up down, I am taking a section on the side and lightly twisting it makes them sure it's nice and Loose and then pinning it in place we're going to be doing a low messy bun, but this is just going to add texture to the side. After that, one piece is pinned I'm taking another piece just below it back combing it twisting it and cutting it in place. I'M doing it one last time to make sure all of the hair from that side is twisted and pinned to the back and then doing the same thing to the opposite side. Taking a piece of hair twisting it very loosely and then pinning it to the back before we finish the hairstyle, I'm just making sure I like the volume, the placement of the twists so far before we move forward and then I'm just taking the remaining pieces of My hair and just lightly twisting them and pinning them in place. This hairstyle is so easy. You want to make sure you're lightly twisting it so that it doesn't look too tight and it looks a little bit more effortless and undone again make sure to feel that the hairstyle is secure and in place, and also that you, like the volume and the structure Of it all to finish it off spray it with some hairspray and you're good to go and that's it. I think this is a classic prom hairstyle, it's elegant and beautiful, and will definitely go with any dress you're wearing. So that is it for this video guys.
