How I Style My Short Hair | + 5 Easy Hairstyles

Hello, everybody and welcome to today's video I'm going to be doing a very highly requested video, which is how I style my short blonde hair, which right now is looking extremely wild. This is my hair half blow-dried. As you can see, I blow-dried all of this section, which is why it is so straight. But then I didn't really pull it down at the top, which is why it looks like this and we're gon na get my go-to style that you guys love and you got some fun commenting how I style my short hair, and I wanted to show it all To you all, so, if you've never seen my face before my name is Chelsea, don't forget to subscribe, but on your notifications, so you won't miss any of my videos and without further ado, let's get into how I curl this mop on my head. So, to start off, I always section off my hair because I have so much hair, it's literally like borderline impossible to curl all of it like this. So I always just start off with the bottom section. So I'll leave down this part of my hair and I'll. Take up all of the top, and I like to use these style of elastics because they leave less marks and your hair and to curl my hair. I love using this curling wand. This is what I've been using. Basically, since I was sent it, this isn't sponsored by them or anything, but they did send me this it's by the brand t3 and it is the micro, curling wand or something wave wand, see what it is on it. But I put it to just three three level of heat out of five, so what I do is I always take about this much hair. Typically speaking, and for the front like around my face, I always curl away from my face. So I'll curl like this leave out at the bottom section, so that part can remain like more straight and I'll just hold it for about 10 seconds and then I'll. Let it go and it looks like that it for the next section. I will curl it towards my face. I always alternate the directions, because this is what kind of gives me like that wavy separated kind of look. If you have it all going the same way, the curls will merge together a lot easier. So when they're separated or going opposite directions, it looks a lot more natural once you brush it out, yeah we're just gon na. Do this whole bottom layer, I always try it and brush through it. First with my fingers just to make sure it's like laying flat. I'M not I'm sure you can get this curling iron off their website and also know they sell t3 items. That'S a 4, but I'm not sure if it's exact iron is sold at Sephora. I want to like say that it's not we're moving on to the next section yay. So, as you can see, the enemy is curled and this part is just poofy. It needs Jesus. So the parts around my face, the curl away, because don't want the hair going right into our face. It'S just not a look that we're going for. Sometimes when I get to the higher up layers. I like to do two curls away from my face when it's around my face. I don't know I just do that. Don'T ask me, don't question me for this section go towards her face. Sometimes I get really fed up with how long it just takes me to do my hair, like I just feel like I'm doing it for like ever and I'm sorry. The lighting keeps changing during this. The Sun keeps coming out and going behind cloud, so I feel like it's blinding, turning warm and then cool and then warm and then cool alright. So we have another section down. You can see how it is coming together and now we're gon na move into the last section, which is the top of my head. Wow wow. I look good. I look good okay, we're gon na fix this. I tend to just do like one. It'S just like one wrap around for the part. That'S like my bangs. I didn't want you to be too high up either. So it's pretty loose another one away, make sure you pull it down, so it's a lower curl and it's just a water wrap. Okay, this side whoa, so we're going to start right just in this little front section here, we're just gon na wrap it around like this. I'M holding the end here find the bang part to be like so hard to grow all right. So now my hair is all curled and it looks like this. That'S just it's too much. You know too much going on, so I like to go in with some Moroccan oil. It'S one of the best hair oils I've found in my life. I pick one pump. My hand rub it between my hands to warm it up and then we're gon na start combing this through my hair, really focusing on the ends as well. Cuz you do can get some heat damage from curling your hair. Obviously so I just kind of brush it through with my fingertips: yeah just finger combing it until you get like the desired texture that you want. I do like mine still like a bit curlier like I don't really get to brushed out. I do want some of like the wave texture to be in it because it also just falls out, but then I stay like so much, which is why I don't mind it but yeah. This is my finished hair and how I style it now for the rest of this video, I'm just going to show you guys a couple of my favorite just like easy, everyday hairstyles for short hair. So one of the first Styles I like to do on this ridiculously easy, like sometimes I'm like. Why am I even showing this, but I like to just clip back these front pieces and there's multiple ways that you can do this? You could either braid the pieces. Just pull them back or you could twist them. I just twist it like two times lift up this back piece right here, pull it that way and then pin it underneath there and a lot of the times I'll. Just do the one side, so I'll, pin back this side and then on the side that I have more hair. I'Ll leave this side up, and I kind of like the fact that it kind of gives you pulls the hair back a little bit from one side of your face. So if you like them your makeup, let me show it off a bit more show off your contour a bit more I'll. Have your hair all in your face. If you know what I'm saying, but you can also just take the corresponding section right here, and that is a foolproof way to get your hair out of your eyes. Okay, my next go-to hairstyle is just the low bun, so we're gon na do is take our little bangs. We'Re gon na leave them out because it's cuter that way so really these and then the rest of our hair. We'Re just going to gather really gently. You can either do a low point it with this or you can do a low bun. Well, so you both look really simple. I actually find buns a lot easier to do with short hair than long hair, so I'm just using a white hair tie. I like the point, but this is like the low ponytail, so you just literally tie it in a little low ponytail letting these pieces cover your ears. I feel like that's a cuter look. It makes it look more undone for the little bun we're gon na. Do the same thing taking your hair, but then, when we're securing it you're just going to wrap it once around like this. For the second time, we're gon na wrap it under like that and not just create, take a little low bun and then, when you turn around, you have like a little bun hairstyle, because this is a problem that what people find when they have. This haircut is that they can't actually get their hair into a high bun. I can't the bottom sections fall out, so what I do is the half up bun. This is like my gym hairstyle. I actually usually just do the ponytail half up and I will tie it off with a hair tie and that way the majority of your hair is just out of your face. I just pull it like so, and I just have like a half updo. That'S like the look that I go for when I go to the gym. I know pretty kind of ratchet, but you know what it works: yeah. Those are the go-to hairstyles that I do basically on the daily basis or whenever I had to style this hair. I don't do anything extreme for the effort, but yeah.
