Hey guys welcome back to the luxy hair channel, my name is India Batson, and I am so excited to be here with you guys today, I'm a youtuber and I predominantly put out videos for all of you, wavy and curly haired gals out there. So, of course, today I'm going to be walking you through my hair, with teen from wet stretched out curled back to a dry defined frizz free hair. So I'm really excited and of course, if you are interested, please be sure to keep on watching and at the end of this video check out a link to my channel in the description box. Let'S jump in all right guys, so my hair has been in this. Like loose messy button, that's been stretched out and it's really messed up my definition. So we're gon na go ahead and take this out. Let'S bend it in this bun for a solid four five. You know you know about it. Maybe six days so we're gon na go ahead and jump in the shower and get my definition back right now. My hair is looking like, like a barely to a wave, but I consider my hair to be wavy curly. So on my hair is a mixture out. Some to be to see waves and then a couple three it curls Terrell's. So it's going to give me your back in its natural state, all right so now, let's turn our water on and we're just gon na want to put it to a nice. Warm temperature not too too hot. So, let's start off with our shampoo, I like to use sulfate, silicone and paraben free hair products, really the more natural the better when it comes to textured hair. Now this shampoo in particular, does not have sulfates, but it still others up, which just makes me so happy and gives me that nice clean feeling so right here, I am using my scalp massaging hair brush. I am obsessed with this product is perfect for stimulating hair growth, and I just feel like it helps me really get in there really clean my scalp nicely and just get rid of any dirt oil grime, and just give me a nice fresh start to the week And it kind of feels good too, like I'm, I'm a little obsessive all right now. Every curly girl knows that conditioner is her absolute best friend. I use an obscene amount of conditioner every single time in the shower, but I love it and my hair desperately needs it. I find the key to conditioner is really focusing it on your mid hair shaft down so right below your ear. All the way to the ends of your hair is really where you want to focus and put all of that hydration and moisture and lock it into your hair. Now I also place a little bit on my roots and on the hair framing my face, but I don't have like too terribly much, because I find the more I apply while it does definitely hydrate my hair. It also kind of kills my volume and I love having big voluminous wavy curls, so I definitely recommend focusing it further down your hair shaft to get some of that sassy volume in your life now. At this point it is time to rinse out my conditioner, so I will shift my water to colds and rinse my conditioner out. I find that this helps to close my hair cuticle up and lock in all of that moisture that we just placed inside so now. I'M going to be applying my styler, I put in my hair styler, while I'm still in the shower on soaking, wet hair imma find that this works best for me personally, and I will typically just kind of like rake it through my hair a little bit and Then scrunch it up through my roots and kind of help promote a little bit of volume and definition to my hair. I typically go for more cream based products, gel products for some reason, don't really work for my texture, I feel like my hair can get a little bit crunchy, so I typically stick with creams and just scrunch them in for a minute or so now that I Finished scrunching my product into my hair, I'm gon na go ahead and use a microfiber towel to get any of that excess water out of my hair and not my hair to dry a little bit more quickly. I personally don't recommend using a regular towel. I find that they can lead to some frizz and some breakage, so I personally recommend trying and checking out a microfiber towel. I think here you can get some really affordable ones online and I just I think for the best. I do, I think, they're the best. All right now at this point in time I will determine how much time I have in the day and if I have lots of time I'll go ahead and let my hair air dry. But if I am quick and running out the door, then I will go ahead and diffuse. My hair, I personally love how my hair looks better when it air dries, but I think that the biggest problem girls have with air drying. Is they don't get that nice amount of volume in their hair? So whenever I air drying, my hair I'll just be sitting there like replying to comments on YouTube or writing emails, and I will flip my head back and forth as it air dries and this just kind of helps to get air at my roots and I'll. Just kind of flip, my hair back and forth, like every five or ten minutes or so, and I find that I get the best amount of volume from using this technique so that my hair doesn't fall just like flat on my head. So you can see right here. I just flip it over kind of adjust it and then go back to chatting with you guys, alright guys. So these are my final results. I'M really pleased with them, especially because my hair was literally on its last like six day. Hair so I'm pleased to be able to get back some volume and definition. I always recommend applying a little bit of a shine, serum or spray, so it doesn't matter which one you use, but if you are following the curly girl method now I recommend using one that is sulfate, silicone and paraben free. So this is just gon na help. Get rid of any little flyaways and just kind of finalize and define your waves or curls so yeah. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching and be sure to comment down below letting me know what type of hair you have, whether you have do a 2 B, 3 B, 3 C, and let me know what your styling tips are for your specific hair type and we Can kind of all help each other out? Alright, thank you! So much for watching and until next time I'll see you soon bye, guys you

Lindsay Adkinson: GIRL YOUR HAIR IS GORGEOUSSS!!

bethviolet lines: I’d really like to get my hair back to being natural again. I’ve been using a hair straightener for about two years now because I really hated how it looked curly. But I think I’m finally ready to give it a go again :)

cami wise: i’m so shocked i found someone with the exact same curl/wave pattern as me that’s so rare i’m so happy hahaha

Charlène: 60% of the comments : « stop saying it’s not curly hair waves are kind of curls » 30% : « OMG I finally find someone who has the same curl pattern as me » 10% : « she has beautiful eyes, she’s beautiful ! »

Chrissy Clark: I have naturally thick, curly hair. I always have frizz. Your tips in this video helped a lot! Thanks so much for sharing :)

Lauren Blackley: I appreciate more girls with hair like mine making more videos like this because my hair definitely has texture, but isn’t super tight

Mirjam Kluijver: Yessss! This is So cool! Ive always lovend my hair when wet and pretty curly/wavy.. but I’d brush it and it was pretty much straight, I just did this routine last night and got it to air dry without brushing and squeezing it like you did in the video, slept with a loose bun on top of my head and my hair is still so curly while dry!! I’m shocked, thank you!!

Afnan: India Batson and her videos are the reason I embraced my curls a year back. I'm forever grateful.

Breonna: Us curly gurls gotta stick together

Angela Strider: This is my favorite video you’ve done! Thank you!!!! I’ve been killing my hair with a straightener for too many years. It’s time to embrace the wave. I’m a 2a and 2b on different parts of my head. Going to the store today to get the duvacurl line. Again, THANK YOU!!!

Mary Murphy: You’re all offended , she has gorgeous CURLY hair it may not be ringlets but it’s curly and cute

Rochi de las Carreras: Your tips totally work on me! I’ve been applying them every time I take a shower and I’m really happy with how my curls turn out so thank you very much :)

powertothemoustache: I've got very similar curls to you and always struggled to dry it because I renounced heat a couple of years ago. If i air dried it, it would flatten and if I moved it too much it would go SUPER crazy but your tip about flipping it every 10 mins has saved my life!!

Rhea8810: My hair is exactly like yours, and my hair is always so frizzy! With all these tips, they have really helped me so thank you so much!

Saario.: This is the easiest and best routine I’ve ever found. It really enhances your natural curl pattern and gave me massive volume with no frizz! Just make sure you only comb with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and you DON’T TOUCH IT while it’s drying! Embrace your natural hair, girls!

Abbie Lynn: I have 3a - 3b curls and until recently I’ve found it super difficult to define my curls to look neater but for anyone with the same hair type as me I would recommend, a deep hair treatment once a week, and for styling I’m obsessed with curl mousses and air drying, I also put clips in my hair to pin pieces up to add volume at the roots, if anyone has any other tips I would appreciate it ♥️

Noémie: I used to have straight hair, but every year my hair keeps getting curlier and curlier so it's really a struggle to know how to take care of it. I've been getting a skin care routine down and my hair looks so much better now :) I definitely want to get a microfibre towel and try a diffuser to dry my hair (I usually sleep on it or let it hair dry)

Lily_of_the_Forest: All the people saying she doesn't have "curly" hair, please go away. Wavy hair is a kind of curl.

Meggz Keitel: this video hit every hair insecurity i had, while also being informative on hair care. thank you so much for making this video

Marzipan: I really appreciate seeing your routine because I have the same hair as yours and I’m just now embracing it. I feel like I’m learning what I should’ve known all along

Alana Moss: Air dry, good anti frizz, and frequent trims are a MUST ! ☺

Eva J: Omg this was so eye opening!!! How am I 24 and just now understanding how to take care of my hair?? Thank you!!! ❤️

Ellen c: It really pisses me off when people go around being like “oh her hair is wavy not curly” like it doesn’t matter she said it was wavy/curly like leave the poor girl alone

Brenda Torres: I used to be so in love with straight hair. Because I am the only one with curly hair in my family I always had a hard time figuring out what to do with it. Before finding your videos I was still set on that 'straight hair is better' mentality but watching how beautiful your hair is and how well it frames your face as well as gives your look personality I feel super proud as well to rock my curls. Thank you for for inspiration!

Brandy Patriotyan: WOW you are gorg!!! I tried your routine and my hair looked immediatly better! Thank you so much, sis!

Shooshoo: She makes curly hair look gorgeous when mine is this frizzy, tangled mess!

Bernice Young: This helped so much my hair actually looks nice natural for once

Elise Jones: I have blonde curly hair just like yours and I have been struggling with a styling routine. I will definitely try this.. thank u!!

xRuuuthie: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO ! my curls look waaay better now!

Leslie: I'm excited to try this! I'm trying to figure out how to get my hair back to its natural waves. Before highschool, it was wavy/curly without having to apply anything to it but now only the hair underneath is wavy/curly and the hair on the crown of my head is wavy/straight. I think its due to all the styling tools and hair dyes I used to use on my hair. I'm really struggling with getting the hair on top to be wavy/curly. If anyone has any tips, it would be much appreciated :)

Louisa Richardson: I'm so glad I found this, we have the same hair type and It was like no matter what I tried my hair just went frizzy but this really worked, thank you

Jocelyn Weiss: Just tried this for the first time. My waves look great! Thanks! And you are adorable!

Mo.Mo_97: As a guy with long hair I'm always watching these kinds of videos. But you do it best. Very simple and easy to follow lol. Much better than my wife who never speaks English when it comes to hair stuff thanks a lot

alex salazar: Beautiful hair! I’m a dad and I’m looking to learn how to experiment with my 3 year old daughters hair! Thank you!

Lauren Elise: I have been trying to figure out my curly hair! This helped me so much thank you!

Aniris Janice: I have the same type as yours! I've always been confused about my hair type and it's care until now.Your video definitely helped me out Just subscribed and liked!

alyssa white: this helped me with my hair journey so much thank you <3

Aphrodite Ruvy: omg I love your tips so much! Im gonna use this tomorrow and let my hair down in school!

Laura Vevers: She does her hair exactly like how I do mine, and I find that air drying it natural is the best way as well.

Baby Yoda Chelsea: Beautiful and curly for white people!! Just bc curly has a diff standard with in one ethnic group doesn’t make it a general thing (get where I’m going) it’s curly for her and that all that matters!! ❤️❤️

Haylie F: Thank you so much! I tried this stuff and it worked. My curl is really outrageous but this helped! So thanks so much! Edit: 1 I subscribed to your channel 2 my hair is a 2c

Saylein Morrison: Thank you so much! I have really curly hair and this helped so much. I just started wearing my hair curly tho I normally straighten it. But it was getting a little crispy. Life saver

Kynadee Shepard: your hair is gorgeous!! my curly/frizzy hair is impossible to tame!! thank you for giving me a way to fix it!!

K: India you rock, girl! Keep making such awesome videos. And as for all these wavy/curly debates out here, I don't understand y'all! Just follow her advice if you're watching the video and have similar hair type. You willingly clicked on the video. Nobody's forcing you or whatever. Geez!

3eautiiz_: Thank you for your curly hair trip!! I'll apply it to my hair

Mollie McCarthy: I just wanted to say this really helped me with my hair. I have hair like you and I couldn't find anything to help. I am the only girl in my school with curly blonde hair, and this made me feel better! I also use gel, and special curly hair products in the shower.

Lavender Gilly: I'm so glad I found you! I have the same kind of hair, only dark brown. Only tip I have, is putting hair into a Dutch braid (not French) because it creates a deeper wave than French braids do when you take them out.

Destiny Jourdan: Depends on the length of my hair whenever it's short it's a 2C when it's medium it's 2B-2C when it's really really long it's 2B. My hair grows extremely fast which is different for curly hair.

Kaelyn Moyer: Just started working to get my natural curls back after years of bleach and straightening and I hope one day I can get my hair to look like yours since we have similar 2b/2c curls!

Larissa: Hi! I have basically the same hair as you! I was wondering how you sleep with your hair to help the definition of your curls last? I sleep with mine in a braid to avoid knots but I find that stretches my curls right out. (my wet to dry routine is basically the same as yours lol)

zelley _: OMG i had completely given up on my curly hair and was straightening it most days until a few weeks ago I found your hair routine HOLY CRAP it’s worked so well we have very similar hair texture and thickness but yours is a lot longer and lighter in colour so I tried it and it’s amazing my hair looks sooooooo cute and curly whereas before I was a massive poof of fluffiness. Thank you so so so much you literally saved my hair from so much damage and you definitely have a new subscriber ♥️♥️♥️

LunaDehWolfie •: It helped me so much!My hair is very curly and never liked to be tamed so this helped also your hair is so beautiful♥️

Abi Taylor: This was really helpful, I am new to really looking after my curly hair, I am not sure what type I have, very much similar to yours, but I barely get any volume in the top! Thankyou for the tips x

Nicole Zintzun: Lol everyone’s likes she doesn’t have curls. There are different types of curls people. This is not a wave. Waves are loose, hence ocean waves. These are little loose ringlets, still curls.

Yashica Dalal: Your video really helped. It’s simple and hassle free and I loved it. I have curls but I face serious problems like hair fall, dryness and most importantly dandruff. I have a dandruff prone scalp. Can you please do a video for that as well?

Heather A Riggins: Gorgeous hair! Great video! Thanks!!

BENEDICTE NGENO: I'm 4c, and her curly hair is SO PRETTY ❤️❤️❤️

Joelle Kraaijvanger: It totally worked for me my curls are so much better Thankyou so much❤❤❤

Jesse James: There are many different types of curls. Your hair is defined by your genes. Some women have very tight, thick, coarse curls. Some have very tight, thin, soft curls. Some have loser, thick course curly hair. There are so many varieties of curly hair. What defines hair as curly is the "curl" which is shaped like a tornado spiraling down from root to end. Wavy hair is called that because it looks like waves in an ocean ~ rolling flat down the hair from top to bottom. This lady has curly hair. Just because it is not tight like a new spring like yours does not mean her hair is not curly.

jessie rae: i do have a small but helpful tip: when scrunching in your styler, drying your hair with the microfiber towel, and with the diffuser, you want to be gentle and slow. being quick and rough will cause more breakage and frizz

Eva Maria Menzel: My curls were so beautiful before I dyed and bleached my hair so much. It’s still rather healthy but my curls have turned into a stringy mix of straight to wavy to some curls☹️ any tips other than cutting dead ends and letting the damaged hair grow out?

Jade Zasadny: I'm so relieved I'm not the only girl who washes her hair once a week lol. All my friends had straight, fine hair and they're so grossed out when I tell them how often I wash my hair I'm also so happy to have found this channel! Subscribed!

Iris: No way I am EVER going to let a product that resembles anything like a TangleTeaser come close to my hair again...I used one for 30 seconds because a friend said "it's so easy to straighten your hair out and get all the knots out" and have been trying to get it out of my hair for the next 15 minutes afterwards.... The hairdresser says that while my hair is long and beautiful, it's also very difficult and stubborn to work with.

Cassandra Gonzalez: This was great to see beginning to end. I am struggling with the "apply to sopping wet hair". Even when you applied your styler, it seemed almost towel dried? I just can't seem to get definition or volume and am still working out what works for me. Keep these coming. They are a huge help, particularly because most videos cater to 3b and up...

Melanie Worthy: this helped me so much, love your videos!!

mediumC: Pro tip, if ur a guy with curly hair, watch women's hair styling videos because their always attractive and have better tips.

sylvia mitchell: I have such a similar curl pattern! Yay!

Senni Rikassaari: This is so helpfull thank you!! I have same texture hair as you so this video gives me life

Sabrina Dick: She is so pretty I hope you all have an amazing day I love her hair I have natural curly hair and this is the perfect video for me thx for making amazing content

Nutella Bear: Ur litterally the only YouTuber that did a hair routine video that has the same hair type as me THANK U!

Yare Solis: I never thought wavy hair could be so beautiful I forgot my hair type but I have super curly hair, literally look like ringlets(like Shirley temple’s) but yet I use some wavy hair stuff cus my hair weighs done easy

Curly Jali: A tip that I use literally everyday is mixing warm water with any leave in conditioner (I use Fructis) into a spry bottle then shaking it up and then spraying it into your hair. Starting on the underside then scrunching and then flipping your head over and repeating!

zoe: How do you keep it untangled without brushing it and making it frizzy?

Gena _ Gena: After this my hair was si soft curly and sort it was just beautiful!! The problem with my hair was that after I dyed my hair went straight so thank you you are my savior!!!!#

Jocelyn Davis: I tried it and it really helped!!!

EvaXedits: Thank you so much yesterday I just got a scalp massager the same as yours but black! This really helps definitely trying this:)

nina mells: Girl your hair is GORGEOUS and looks sooo healthy ❤️ loved the vid btw how many times do u wash your hair a week (bc I have the same type of hair )

Ayla: Omg her hair is sooooo pretty ❤️love it

Jodi Anderson: Thank you so much for this girl. You are my hero!

Xena T: It be more helpful if you could list the products used in your video in the description box :)

Амила Обрадобац: Look at all of these girls (from other races) triggered about her hair being curly. Lmao ya'll know now that white girls can have texture in their hair aswell‍♀️ Girl you are beautiful and you have some of the prettiest CURLS I have ever seen!!!

Julia Gamble: Your curly hair is so beautiful!!

Hollipolliyozza: Beautiful waves!!!

Abi Kuhn: I have a very bad frizzy styled hair, but I want to go and perm my hair that it has the type of curl yours has ! Your hair is so beautiful and I am totally jealous !

Maggie Forest: Your hair looks amazing! :-)

maddi X: For all the people saying she doesn’t have curly hair just stop. There are different types of curls!

Claudia Irene Moreno: Ok this girl is so pretty and she is hair goals! thank you for the routine!

BENDPRINCE: thanks so much for your video. You told me a lot of stuff i didnt know. i hope it works because my hair is really curly

Tinti: I have 1c/2a hair. It's pretty neat as I can brush it while it's what to get stick straight hair, and scrunch it with some gel while damp to get my waves. If I just airdrop without doing anything it's kinda all over the place, straights some places and wavy other places. Aloe Vera gel is the best I've found for my hair because it isn't as stiff as other gels, and I haven't found any good creams where I live.

abby fletcher: I have a problem!! My hair looks the exact same that yours does, except probably a little thinner, but anyways, I do what you do in the shower and out of the shower but my hair looses some of its curl and gets all frizzy. Right when I get out of the shower and do my routine, I LOVE how it looks when it is soaking wet... but as soon as it starts drying I hate it. I do the hair flip thing when it’s air drying and everything! I thought maybe I would just have to use a diffuser every time I wash my hair, but the same thing happens. If anyone has any advice PLEASE let me know! I end up just straightening it all the time because it looks terrible but I know that straightening all the time damages your hair.

That-Weird-Christian: I use a normal tshirt for my hair. Works just as good.

brittany sorich: I did this but I used coconut milk curly shampoo, Shea moisture deep conditioner and Shea kiwis tire curl sculpting and was pleased with the results but my hair definitely did not curl as much as hers and the back of my hair was flat even though I made sure to scrunch the back as best I could. Probably because of the products. I need to try the shampoo+conditioner and cream she uses. Could be because of my haircut style (waterfall) and my hair is not as long as hers but almost close to it. It all depends on what condition your hair is in (mine is 100% healthy), your hair type (thin or thick), hair length and what type of hair products you use! Thank you for the helpful video!! I would have dried my hair till damp with a non micro fiber hair towel and ruined my curls without this video! Very amazing!!

Lessly Velazquez: omg finally someone with my curly hair type!! Loved the video!

Ina Z: Finally, a video I can relate to and actually use for tips

karie _: We have the same hair type and yours looks gorgeous ❤ btw can I use any regular t-shirts instead of a microfiber towel? thanks x

Tasnem Akhter: thank you so much for this !! what is the product you used after conditioning ?

Desi Busch: i have the same hair texture and i love this routine! what do you do with your hair when you sleep? if i leave it down then my curls go flat, but if i put it up then i get pony tail marks..

Alice Christine: I think this is the first time I see a curly/ wavy hair routine without using gel as styling.
