Straightening My Curly Hair Safely Ft. Minizone Brush

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel. My name is vanessa ferran and, as you can see today, my hair, it's not the most amazing as it's been, i just washed it, and i did nothing about it. I literally just let it be. I haven't uh put any products in my hair, any stylers just because frankly, i was letting it breathe, but i found out this brush and i realized that i haven't tried it on uh. It'S the mini sun, queen hair straightening brush. As you guys know, i don't trade in my hair very often i do like to do it a couple times a year, just to see how my lens is and honestly just to change, because i do like changing - and i feel like honestly, like hairstyles, should be Fun otherwise like why are we wasting spending and doing all these things for our hair? You know it's to be able to have fun in a healthy, safe way. I honestly haven't traded my hair much also because the healthier it gets the harder it gets for it to be straight or to become straight um i mean. Ideally, you would have to like do a blow dry first and then, if you use a straightening iron, but i am so lazy - and i also don't have the time that i rather just leave it. As is, i don't mind if it's perfectly curly or if it's perfectly straight, i just like my hair as is, and i feel like that's pretty much the reason why all of us got into this healthy hair journey. We wanted to enjoy our natural state of the hair. Frankly, like my hair, the healthier it gets the harder it becomes to be straight, so i want to test it, and i wanted - and i was like why not you know might as well just do it with you guys and see how i feel about it. So i open the box and it comes this right here with like a little bag. It'S like a suede material, which i really like. Let me open it. Okay and it's pink. I really like the color, it's pink and it has like all this bristles right here. So it's going to be like a brush that as you brush, i mean they're very a lot of variations of these type of um brushes out there, but i'm actually very excited because i tried one previously and it did not work at all. So i'm gon na kind of try this and see how it works. It also comes with a little um glove, so you don't get burnt, which is, i think, it's pretty awesome. I never actually use this one just because i like the risk, i always just forget, but uh i'm going to apply. Oh that's so cool i didn't even seen it. It also comes with a clip to like put your hair, like that. I mean honestly, these clips. Don'T actually carry that much hair because i have thick hair, but first i'm going to apply my heat protectant and i have this one from maui is the color protection, minerals, heat shield, spray for color treated hair and what i'm going to do pretty much is just Off sprinkle all around okay, so it actually heat up really fast uh. It was like less than 30 seconds really um. I have all this side right here, the tangle, so i'm going to start with a small section just because in the past it works best with a small section again uh. If you really want to be sure why not just spray a little hip protectant to your hands, just let that dry a little bit first and let's start so, i'm actually very nervous. Just because i really wanted to work because i haven't been able to find a brush that actually does helps my hair straighten it easily. Okay, so that's not bad! I mean for one pass: let's see the second one huh! Okay, that's not bad at all! See a third one just in case, and now honestly, my favorite part about this brush is better. My favorite part about this brush is how sturdy it is um. I'Ve used other ones that uh they don't honestly, they feel cheap and that's my biggest problem now. This is a bigger section and i'm actually very curious to see how my hair reacts and how the brush tackles this just because it would make my life so much easier if it can actually tackle this amount of hair. These are like what two inches, maybe, and so do one sweep and do the end, not bad for only one. Oh, my god, for only one um go through actually pretty good, and that was a big piece. Okay. This could make my hair, like whenever i want to trade in my hair, go so fast because, okay, look at that! Okay, me, likey! Okay! I must stop there because myself, i don't want to go like go ahead for like maybe 20 times, and i have to like stop myself at three just because i don't want to over kill my hair. You know another part of it. You can see like my reminiscence of my curls and waves there honestly, i feel, like i mean yeah, that her community is amazing and it's very awesome, but i feel like sometimes a lot of people get judged just because they want to switch their hairs out every Once in a while - and you know it's just like it's your hair like at the end of the day, you just want to have fun. You know like, but i just want to enjoy my hair in all its shapes forms and styles as much as i can, because you never know you know if you want to heat style, your hair heat side of your hair as long as you do it safely, With like detailed protection, if you want to color your hair, do it you know, like you, only live once you never know where you can suffer from alopecia, try to romania or, for god forbid, nothing with cancer, and you lose your hair. So, like honestly, that realization hit me, because i spent so much time consuming thinking about the state of my hair and what other people thought about. My hair that i was never like grateful or like realized how amazing is to have hair um. I remember when i got my tumor, my back and actually my doctors recommended chemotherapy for it. I, like my biggest fear, was oh, my god, my hair, even though at that moment in my life i was very stressed with my hair and my hair was a big problem. I was like when chemo came to the place, and i was like, oh my god, all this time. I'Ve been like you know, fighting for the state of my hair. When i should be just so blessed. I have so much hair by the way that actually was really quickly. I'M actually pretty surprised with this. With this brush guys, my camera has been dying lately and it's having issues so today's actually the november the 23rd and the fun thing is. I bought this camera last year november, the 30th i mean it was my birthday present for my husband and i was so excited and i'm kind of glad that it started that it actually started to show um issues before the guarantee expired. So as soon as i'm done here, i'm going to ship it off and send it so we can get um tested because it's like my stuff is just like. I don't know it's like my battery, it's not connecting properly uh the screen's. Turning like green and blue and purple it's awful, but i just gosh, i i'm actually fairly shocked. I don't know if, because i've been like trying to film and then that part that i'm filming gets um erased, but i was i was mentioning before that. I was a little skeptical to use this brush before, just because i've used a different one before it looked pretty the same. To be honest, it was like the same kind of like design and such um. I mean this one feeling way: sturdy and better top quality and better quality than the other one um, but the results were very like lackluster in, like i was very disappointed and with this brush i'm fairly surprised. I i must say that my favorite part are these. Ridges right here, i don't want to because it's hot, but it allows your hair to like eat like this. I like shaping my hair like this, so it's not like just one straight thing, and it like makes it like go. You know have like volume and shape and not just being like a dead like straight strand, so i that's my favorite part from this brush that i really like, and it's so easy too, like i love how it actually takes big sections, and it's not just limited To like small sections to work, these are the hairs that, like i'm, actually struggling the most because they're so close to my scalp and i'm terrified but like that was pretty easy. That'S crazy! I'M actually very surprised at how fast this um brush has been. Let me just just in case i mean i love my wigs, i'm not gon na lie. I'M never like i've never been more grateful to have curly wavy hair than i am now, but but sometimes every once in a while. I want to look a little different. You know, and hair is a great it's pretty much like my mom would say it's the frame of your face. So it's a huge. You know when, like somebody breaks up and you just change your hair, you get it colored or you cut it or whatever. Well, i don't want to cut my hair, and i i mean you guys know that i do color my hair every once a year and i have i kind of want to go to columbia to get colored. So why not? I have to remind myself that i should be gentle with my hair. I just get so impatient. Like gentle gentle you'll see how long my hair is when i'm done right here in this video, i'm going to try to get up because, like seriously because, like my hair, doesn't fit the frame right here. So it's really hard to see how long it is. But it's just it's a lot of work. Sometimes i'm gon na go ahead and continue this like out of camera, because i don't want this video to be super long for you guys and also i'm terrified that my camera's gon na die and all this footage is gon na be lost. So i'm gon na do this all i have a camera since we already got like the first part. I just want to show you again, so you can actually like see and compare i mean i have a lot of hair here, but look at that and i'll be back once all this is straightened in a little bit and guys i'm done i'm done so. This is, finally it i'm actually very surprised, um. Let me just back away a little bit so you can see. I haven't seen my hair this straight in a long time. Just because, usually it will like be very poofy, i mean it's still puffy in the ends. Let me just show you it just it's hard because, like the camera, but my standard, this is my hair. This is my hair guys. I mean it's so long, but look at that. Look at the ends like i am in shocked. I am in shock right now. I'M trying to put it a little bit further, so you guys can see. I am so excited honestly, like i, i was not expecting this. I know it sounds really bad, but i was not expecting this brush to be this good just because i've tried so many other brushes before and they always leave my hair very, very frizzy, and i, like i love it. I love how, like my roots, don't like it really went in through my roots. You know, i honestly again like this parts like the rigid parts are amazing because your hair gets there. You have to be careful because you don't because if you touch them, of course you will burn yourself, but i love how my thoughtful it is um, i'm going to leave a link down below it's called mini stone queen. That'S actually a pretty cool name minnie's own queen hair brush hair shredding brush, and it i really love it. I love how convenient it was. I love how fast it was. I have a lot of hair if you guys can see if i have a little hair straight and i have a lot of purpose. I have forgotten how much i like my hair straight, and i know it's gon na, be like some people might be like. Oh, why she's saying that you know curly hair community create her method yeah, but i also like my hair straight and i don't know i i feel like it's a taboo topic here like we are allowed to change our hairstyles. Just like you know it's it's the fun part of it. It'S the fun part we're blessed enough to have curly hair and we're blessing us to have straight hair. If you want to - and i as long as you do it's healthy, you know, i super recommend this hair brush. I am actually very surprised and it looks very nice. I love it. I it's so soft and silky. I honestly can't stop touching it. I i love it. I want to say thank you to miniton queen for sending me this hairbrush. I honestly had lost faith in the straightening brushes uh, and this brought it back. I am so thankful to have been able to try this. I was not expecting this to go this well. I am, of course, gon na take advantage of this hairstyle and wash it in like seven days when it's like completely filthy. Thank you so much for watching.
