Look at your hair. You'Ve got beautiful, hair, beautiful hair everybody. Everybody wants this type of hair that you have, but I can tell just by looking at your hair that there may be a few things going on one: it probably a little bit dry a little bit on the frizzy side. I can see that just by looking at it, but ask me your hair questions and I'll try to help you, okay, I'm actually trying to grow out my hair um, mainly because of some of your videos. I, like the managing thing you do and, and I been inspired with uh with the longer ones I have yeah. I have um thick hair. I I might show you like some pictures. I'Ve always used it uh short here and I'm trying to grow it out. I wanted to ask you hey what product do you recommend me I? What I've done is I've um, I'm not using shampoo every day, something I used to do to do and it has helped a lot, but I don't know if I should use tidal wave. I live in Peru, it's humid. I have thick hair. I think it's coarse, especially in here like this side um. I don't know that yeah Rodrigo all right uh. So the first thing you have to you want to do is yes. Tidal wave is a great product. I mean any product was good if you're trying to grow your hair out, the point of products is to have a purpose of what you're using those products for okay. So in your situation, if you are looking for something, that's a bit more taming, if you're trying to have some shape and some texture to it, you want to probably spray in tidal wave and almost let it air dry right or use something like my blow dry Cream or some sort of product that you're going to spray in the hair, while it's damp you're going to work it through and scrunch it through, do not towel dry. It don't do anything crazy to it. What you want to do is literally scrunch it. Okay scrunch. It and then let it air dry um and you want to use some sort of cream like my blow dry cream works, really well uh, my power cream. That works really well too, but you need something to tame it as it grows out. The last thing you want to do and a lot of people always want. Oh, I want to be able to run my fingers through my hair if you have very dry, coarse hair. The last thing you want to do is run your fingers through it constantly because that's just going to make it frizzy it's going to make it go all over the place. Yeah like that. Okay. So if you use, if you use something like my tidal wave and like um and for everyone who's waiting in the queue I I can only have so many people waiting. So I appreciate it, I see you guys waiting I'll, try to get to you all so um just be patient and I appreciate you all coming in uh. But yes, like my like a Pomade, it all really depends on the type of look you want. If you use like my power cream, which is a super strong holding cream gel and you want a slick back, look and you don't want any frizz, you want to have that look kind of like really tame. Look, that's like a set and forget it product. If you want to have something like my Mac, my new matte Pomade, where you want to have a lot more control uh, you want to have something where you can just kind of slick it back with a different type of look. Then the Matt palmin works good. So products will work for your hair, it's just as it grows out. You have to learn more about how to tame it um and make it look a little more stylish. Does that make sense? Yes, I I want to ask you one more question and it's um. I should get a haircut like every I don't know two months while I'm growing up growing it out or I should just leave it like. I think it's time for like to take some of the volume I don't know, yeah, that's a good question and everybody wants to know. Should I get a haircut while I'm growing it out, it really really really depends what kind of style you want to grow it out to, because you may need to get some of the areas trimmed more than others. For example, if you want the top really long, the sides in the back may start to get really bushy quick. So what you need to do? You need to actually have the sides and the back trimmed down and almost like nothing on the top so that it grows out and also this is really important - the person, the person that is cutting your hair. They have to be able to help. You grow it out; they have to cut it so that it can grow out so make sure you show them the style that you're that you're looking for and then hopefully um. They can work with you and then yes, it's important to get it shaped up and trimmed to grow out into that style. So does that help Rodrigo? I appreciate you, man, yeah. Thank you. I have taken Avion capsules, Vitamin E for my early bag Blackness and nothing more yeah, okay, so the best the best thing to do is: how often, are you washing your hair? How often uh I'm uh with shampoo without shampoo without conditioner or anything like just in two to three days with shampoo? How often are you shampooing your hair, uh eye shampoo? I used to shampoo my hair to within a two to three days in a week. Okay and and then, and then do you notice that that helps with the dandruff or does it make it worse when you wash your hair, does it it helps with the dandruff it helps with the uh. It helps with the dandruff uh but sir. Unfortunately, I have to say that it also removes my hairs too. A lot of him comes when I shampoo my hairs, and I can see them by Falling taking it in my hands like that. Only okay, what I would say to you is maybe using like a dry shampoo in between like a like a spray. If you have access to getting a dry shampoo that may help, so you don't have to wash it as often that can help soak up the oils um, and you want to be careful with using oils on your hair just because that could actually clog the pores Up and clog your scalp, which could could have one or two reactions you could be getting dandruff from your scalp being very dry or it could be so oily that it's producing flaking, because it's so much oil. Yes, yes, I guess you are right, sir. I have also noticed that my hairs get some oil after one day of wash only uh. When the sweater reduces from my scalp. Only then you can see, I can easily see the dent referend again anything yeah. I I call it's a hemp. It'S called hemp, shampoo, h-e-m-p, hemp. It'S really good. It'S really good for um, this type of situation and it's available um. If you go to Slick hair, it's they, they sell my products to India. I don't ship to India, but it's really good for healing the scalp um and, I would say: try a dry, shampoo and spray it on your hair, maybe get a little bit on the scalp and that could help soak up some of the oils. You can even do it while it's dry and then give it a little bit of a scrunch to tame it, and then what you need to do is use. This is the blow dryer that I sell and use the diffuser like this. The diffuser, the diffuser, is what I use when I'm styling the hair, okay, and I give it a little bit of a scrunch all right, a little bit of a scrunch like this with curly hair, wavy hair. You never ever ever want to shake the hair like this. Never because it's going to make it very frizzy, so the diffuser - and this comes with my blow dryer. You can get this at shop at the salon. Nothing is all natural: okay, um, you can spray tidal wave in your hair every single day. However, I mean because it has that sea salt texture, it may end up building up a bit. You know um or you can use it to soak up oils. Just don't use a whole a whole lot of it. You have to be careful, but if you wash your hair every day and yes, you can use it every day, totally: okay, um! Really really depends, you can get at least a year right, six months to a year, at least depending on how often you use it, I mean the stuff lasts. I also was thinking maybe about getting a perm or a more wavy hairstyle, but I also like I think I like it more on the longer side, I'm thinking I'm going for more, like an alternative type of haircut, a little bit more edgy foreign um. So this this is something where you know again. This is perfectly straight hair and I made it curly and wavy uh by using uh my product Title Wave here, uh and uh and using the diffuser when styling it, so I'm able to get some scrunching to it. The thing about, if you have, if people have like a longer face, shape, okay, the longer the hair is the longer the face becomes like it's like that. Okay, it's like so, you have to be be very, very careful, um. So a lot of times people have a long face, they may have a hairstyle that they try to go high like that, and I still really don't want to do that. Okay, so you want to have something that's kind of like you have more in your face. A bit more rounded um, if you like, having hair in your face, that's totally cool. It'S just. You have to be okay with it when you're trying to grow your hair out. It has to you have to make sure it's balanced, okay, um balanced in a way to where it's not growing out really long in in the in the wrong areas like, for example, your hair. You may look really cool with like a mullet. Okay, yeah. A lot of people actually telling me that yeah, but with your hair, what you have to do is you almost have to let me see here you almost have to like trim the sides a bit and leave the back longer down into here. Okay, that's really what a mode is, but because your hair is so thick on the sides here, like that, what you need to do is is take down. The sides shorter leave the top a bit longer, okay and um, and then have the hair coming out kind of like almost sticking out like this. Okay make it a little more messy to kind of balance out the face shape all right. So you you want to have this a little bit shorter, not like buzzed off completely a little bit of volume there. So the sides you mean I should cut the sides. Shorter yeah, yeah yeah cut the sides a little bit shorter. So it's a little bit closer in a little bit so that the back looks like it's longer. It'S like it's all. It'S like creating an illusion. Okay, um! You already have a cool hairstyle, you know, but the thing is is is if you wanna, if you want to wear that kind of look, I think the front is a good length for you. The sides could be taken down into here because your hair is so thick right, it's so thick and through here and then just grow the hair out like in the back, even if it's like this, so that you can see more of the sides here, you know And, and just give it a little more of like a fuller look and that may help kind of you know balance it out um. If you want to keep growing the hair longer or longer in front, you can do that, but you have to be okay with you know, having the hair kind of going like a side part like that. This is basically your hairstyle, but a longer version yeah right. So you see that you have to be okay, you're always going to be doing that. You see that it's always going to be like oh the hairs in my face. So every five minutes, you're gon na - be like this. You know um so having it shorter. Like you have, it will work a little bit better than having this closer like that and then almost like the back here is a bit longer. You know, so that's just one option. That'S just one yeah, I'm sure thank you man. So next time I basically tell um my hair stylist to to shorten my sights if I yeah shorten, but also more more thinning out. Okay, short, okay, maybe maybe this short the most. You see that, but nothing too short, okay, say you're, say you're trying to leave the front longer. You want to take this a little bit shorter, but remove some of the weight. So it's a little bit closer to the head and then let this grow out. Okay, so you keep the size a little bit short and you let the top grow now, since you play sports, it all depends if, if you can deal with the hair being in your face and stuff like that, you know if you're wearing a hat, it all Depends or you just get a really short nice fade and you leave the hair a little bit longer on top. I could tell if I were you, I would actually take the sides down a bit shorter. Okay, just take the size out a bit shorter because what's happening is when you have the hair. You know fully round it's just rounding everything out way too much. Okay, it's rounding everything out way too much, so instead, what I would do is, you know, trim this down more and if you are trying to grow the top out, for example, right if you're trying to grow it out, keep the sides in the back shorter. While this grows a little bit longer, you want your top to probably come down to like this area into here and then start to grow out the sides in the back. That'S only if you want to grow it out. Okay, like something like this all right. If you want to have the top of your hair, a lot longer grow this out and keep the sides in the back of it: shorter, okay, um and because, because basically uh. If you grow everything out at once, it's just gon na look like there's too much hair going on. Okay, also Eric. If you have a question, you can type it in the chat and I'll respond. What you need to do is just learn how to tame your hair and have it shaped as it grows out um. How long are you trying to grow it out Eric like what kind of style you could type it in five months? Oh, my God! What was your hair like mine five months ago? Was your last haircut all right shoulder length beautiful. So this is the perfect, perfect scenario: Eric has curly hair, okay, curling hair, and he wants to grow it probably shoulder length which is going to take some time it could take a year okay. Now what you need to do is as it grows is. If you want to have a hairstyle that is all one length, then it could end up, maybe being triangular. If you want to have some shape and texture, then you have to add some layers, but if someone's trying to grow it out shoulder length, I suggest maybe very minimal layers, just maybe throughout the bottom half here. So it's not so poofy and wild um, or just keep growing it to where you can put in a ponytail. But what you need to do is really learn how to use the right products and tame it as it grows out, because it is going to be in an awkward stage, especially the fact that you want to continue to grow it um. You just have to use products man, you know what I mean you got to just use the products and you have to um. You got ta just kind of deal with it. Uh so does that help bro all right cool man. I have to put a lot of product, and so my question is well every day, every single day, having a lot of I'm trying to figure out a haircut that I put normal like uh, something normal, but every something important to do. I can always give it back or for something like that, but maintain in, because I always have to grow really fast, like every two weeks to have too tight, because they just kind of grow everything and grow it. You see that all day, long exactly fall down like this, the pro okay, that's nothing bad with that. What'S happening is first of all, when people have your hair texture, it just wants to fall flat but correct. The reason it actually keeps falling is because you actually remove all that underneath with the undercut. So when you do an undercut, what happens? Is you get rid of all the support underneath, so the hair has no choice but to just fall flat like this there's nothing underneath it to kind of hold it up. Okay, so what I would suggest for you, you see how now, when I go back to see how it stays back a little bit more yeah. So what I stay in place, yeah, yeah. What I would suggest for you is, you can do an undercut, but maybe like how you have it now, where it's not so short um and maybe grow it a little bit longer, but keep it where it's short enough, where it's not bulky and heavy, and then Maybe what you can do is, is you just need a stronger product? You know what I mean um, so I would suggest using a stronger product, letting some of the underneath grow out a little bit more and don't be afraid to like tame the hair and like blend it slightly. I was wondering if you had any advice for that, one mainly for the volume when I get it cut um and then two, because my hair is a little bit wavier on the ends. It tends to curl up a little bit when uh it dries. So I was wondering if you had any advice for that yeah, that's a great question man. So, first of all, this is kind of like it's. This was actually the Obi-Wan haircut. I did so Harrington's hair is kind of like this right. His the hair length of the front is around this kind of length and then he's got it a little bit longer. It'S very similar to this all right that his in the newest episode or the new season a little bit longer in in past ones, um. He has a ton of hair, so you actually have to cut quite a bit of your hair off, believe it or not. To have that kind of look so right now, your sides and through here are very very long. The very front is very, very long, and you you just have too much hair it's way too long, okay, so for you to achieve that haircut and the reason why the the top is losing some of that volume is because it's simply just so long. On top. That'S what it comes down to the longer the hair is and you're lucky you're able to get that much volume, but the longer your hair is on top the more it should it isn't for anybody more. It'S just going to flatten like this there's nothing. You can do okay, um, but in order to achieve that volume you can use products and you know or do whatever you're doing, but I would suggest literally you just need to go to the person who cuts your hair, show them a picture of Harrington's haircut and Just say this is what I'm looking for. You have the hair type for it when the hair curls, because it gets to a point where it's so long. That'S when the curl starts, you know, wavy hair is where it's straight and then it curls or waves at a certain point. So if you cut that shorter, it's just not going to wave because you're cutting that natural curl pattern out where it's starting. You know what I mean, so I think you just have so much hair going on that. You really just need to get a shorter haircut man, if you want that, you know what I mean yeah, you got. You got to sacrifice it because your hair is more like Jim Morrison, then Steve Harrington, you know yeah, and so my last question for you, because I was also planning on using your products too. Would you because I don't notice clutch XL - is no longer on your website? It'S just clutch uh. Does that work just as well for getting it to stay up in the front when it's shorter like this? Yes, but I would, I would break down of products, but I would use literally tidal wave when the hair is wet I've redid time. Oh there is that's probably what you have all that volume right yeah this stuff is amazing. You'Ll get twice as much volume literally if your hair was this was this short. I can tell you right now, okay, so it's all about the cut and the layering exactly the layering. However, his hair - it's it's almost like this man, the layering is there, but you see how it's more down into here. Super short, just to make sure that you're not getting layers cut too too short all right. His layering starts around down into here level, uh a little bit shorter than that you know, like actually yeah, like mid, mid nose, yeah mid nose the length, although is a little bit longer I'd, say to the top of the lip, because the hair, when you do A side part it will shrink up. It jumps up. Okay, so you need to in order to get that height. You see how much the hair jumps up. It goes from there to here. So you need. In order to get that height, you got to have a little bit longer, just not too long, or else it's going to weigh it down um, but if his is really about the back being a little bit longer, you can do it easily. It'S just a little bit longer than this um, but I would say, tidal, wave and then for volume and for a little bit of hold, I mean my newest clutch was more of like a grooming clay, um. That gives like just enough texture and hold uh, not as strong as clutch XL, but a little bit. It'S like a hybrid of all those um. It'S it's a lot easier to go through the hands, it's not so waxy and grippy. So I would. I would suggest that man - okay, awesome. The only time I would use a brush on your hair is when you just get out of the shower and it's a little it's damp and I would use like 25 spray or something okay, but I would not brush your hair when it's dry, never never brush. Your hair, when it's dry, like that, okay, because and you don't use any products, just water, that's fine! So only brush your hair and that's a good brush to use, don't ever use a comb because it's going to rip your hair up, especially when it's longer so you want to use kind of the paddle brush or a vent brush with the wide teeth on it. Because that'll help brush through it easier so yeah um do that only when it's damp or wet, but don't do it when it's dry, because it's going to rip the hair.
