Long hair with fine hair. I think if you have fine hair, it shouldn't be too long, because the longer it gets, the finer it gets at the end. Eventually, you'll get to the end with one piece of hair. I think that's when you realize it's time to cut. As you can tell, your hair hasn't been cut for a while. Now I would think, to give it a little more blunt cut at the bottom and add in some long layers for volume. But I mean long layers. If you have fine hair, you shouldn't have short layers.

You can do all the framing around the face and have long layers, and then bring it up a little more blunt at the bottom. That will work the best on fine hair. Don't think you should have long hair if you have fine hair. It will not work or look good, and it will be very hard to style.

With long, fine hair, you should actually get it trimmed a little bit more often, maybe four to five weeks, so you always keep it healthy and looking nice, because long, fine hair will get damaged very quickly, especially by using the blow dryers and all that stuff. It really gets dry and damaged.

Also, if you have really fine hair, you should use a volumizer into your hair and also use good care of your hair. I always say that your hair grows from inside out. Whatever you put in your body is going to come out through your hair. If you're healthy, your hair will look healthier. It's a way of getting your fine hair a little stronger. But you shouldn't have long hair.

That's the whole thing to that.

Long hair with fine hair., I think, if you have fine hair, it shouldn't be too long because the longer it gets the finer it gets at the end. Eventually you'll get to the end with one piece of hair.. If you're healthy, your hair will look healthier., It's a way of getting your fine hair, a little stronger., But you shouldn't have long hair.. That'S the whole thing to that:

Kristin Almajed: Don't ever let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do with your hair. If you think it looks great then that's all that matters!! :D :D I have long fine hair that's almost to my lower back. I trim it and cut short layers myself, the layers give it lots of volume. I love the way it looks.

Glikeria Claire: please quit believing that thin/fine hair cannot look beautiful when long! They look way better and fuller when long as long as they are healthy! It takes more effort for those with this hair type but the results are so worth it

1015SaturdayNight: NOPE. I have hip length fine hair, properly maintained, and it is magnificent.

Salma Levin: The main message of the video: "The best way to deal with long fine hair is simple: cut it short." Thanks. That.was.incredibly.helpful ... : /

MightyMouse1222: Shouldn't have long hair if your hair is fine? My hair measures (from the base of my neck to the end) 38.5 inches. I have fine hair; but a lot of it - and it's absolutely beautiful.

Xalli Gonzales: I agree with Mykola. The title of the video suggested I would get tips on styling my long thin hair. But the only tip... was cut it.

sundae creams: My hair is below my backside and I think it's fine!!! The only pain with it is washing it!

Mykola Alexander: I like listening to this guy - but he really threw me at the end when his final verdict on "how to deal with long, fine hair" - was - tah - tah - "don't have long hair".  I disagree.

Mykola Alexander: I forgot to mention - I watched his other video on how to cut your own long hair.  He tells us two methods that sound good - but then he says not to do it yourself, always have a professional do it;  or basically, only do it yourself if you are desperate.  That doesn't give you much confidence.  I have had so-called professionals slaughter my hair, then when it grew out I have cut it myself and was at least happier than I was after spending a ton on money on it.  Finding a good hairdresser is like winning the lottery.  I finally found one and he died.  :(

GypsyCat1: problem that he is talking about with the hair being too thin on the ends is caused when you have your hair layered. The lesson here is that is if you have thin hair then you should not get layers because that just makes your hair even thinner. once i got my hair cut to all the same length it is much thicker on the ends

Amy Dignam: why volumise? so only thick hair is good? im happy having fine long hair, im not trying to have something I wasn't given to start with...

Aldijana Joffe: I have fine hair, lots of it and healthy. Switching up between lob and long because it fits my lifestyle, personality and shape. It's funny when hairdressers promote their opinion as the ultimate 'hairtruth'. No rules! Ultimately, life is short so the only criterium is that your hair fits your persona and makes you feel good. Just random opinion. Hair should look like it's healthy, clean and with a wink to a trend (zeitgeist)but always in a playful laissez faire way! Like you have more interessting things to do then spend hours on styling hair rigidly. Taking it too serious is boring bleh ;)))

L0minal: So the result of this video, wich actually is called "how to deal with long fine hair" is: not to have long fine hair! Well...

NixieOnCloud9: AW MAN! i though this was going to be about actual long fine hair :(

Dorene Mellene: I have long fine hair, and there are many ways it can be fixed up to look nice.

Emily Andrews: It always confuses me when people say 'fine hair shouldnt have short layers' when i was younger my layers started around the top of my ears and went down and thats the nicest its ever been, my hair is a bit thinner than hers in the video too. Also, don't understand why we can't have long hair, it hangs the same long or short, my mums in dead thin and its in a bob, still doesn't have right.

wwwwir1: The only reason your hair would get thinner at the ends would be not properly trimming it. Fine hair and thin hair are not the same thing either. I think fine thick hair is the best for really long hair because fine hair retains more body whereas coarse, thick hair can look flat if it's really long without lots of layers.

AmazonNicola: I have long thin hair. It goes to the middle of my back. Can't have m by hair? My hair has been long for most of my life. I just keep it healthy as I can. Even when I did not cut it as much as he said about every 5 weeks. It is still healthy. It is all on how you treat your hair. I found a way to make my hair healthy I just have to clean my hair in a certain way or as I put it " becomes stubborn" and will not corporate. I also brush my hair a lot during the course of the day. You just need to figure out a way for yourself which way is best for your hair because as he had said everyone's hair is different.

Darlene Lewis: This why I cut my own hair and I have thin hair but a lot of it. Also I cut it blunt at the bottom makes it look fuller and my hair is past my shoulders.

Frieda Marak: I have long fine hair and it doesn't look bad. This is the first time I'm keeping my hair long. And I don't want to cut. Any other tips for long fine hair.

PokerQueen87: Well I'm not listening to him, I'm growing it long

Kristin Arrington: Pft. My hair is baby fine and waist length. I get compliments all the time!

Jolene Scott: my hair is super long and I'm not cutting it! almost to my upper thigh

Tish the Vegan: This reminds me of the "Soup Nazi" No long hair for you, NEXT!! lol

MovieTake2: I actually think that having long thin hair is better than long thick hair because otherwise it gets too heavy since thick hair in general is heavier. The only thing is if its healthy or not

Joy Lee: lol this man is basically telling people with fine hair NOT to have long hair, sure he did suggest to have longer layers but really whats he's trying to say is if you have fine hair then do not have it long.

Sally: He gives good advice for fine hair

Jolene Scott: my hair is super long and I'm not cutting it! almost to my upper thigh

Ashley John: What a jerk! She looked upset when he said you can’t have long hair if it’s fine. I’m not going to wear a bob bc my hair isn’t as thick as the next girl!

Casey Loove: I dunno..... I love my hair and it’s thin with 4ft length

Yvonne Candy: I had a woman lare my hair and she made super short!

Jasmine Rose: What if you want long hair?

Manatucci: What who says that? ??? Sorry but your wrong. I have thin hair but if properly maintained conditioned and trimmed I have 44 inches of hair and it's beautiful. I'm sorry your video doesn't even make any sense.

Sandra Beckham: Yeah, It's so Negative! But NOT as bad as Fat people can't have Short Hair! That one is truly insulting!Also... If your fine hair wasn't heathy already, you couldn't grow it that long!

Claudia Tsang: He was just telling her that she shouldnt have long hair.........she didn't look to happ about it. In my opinion, she should keep her her that length, trim it for good health, and add in extemtions for more to style with/volume.

Angel Kay: "How to Deal with Long Fine Hair... Don't"

Aga: This guy is not able to deal with this common type of hair....

Erika: Okay everyone, you're taking it too seriously

Willa Burney: tl;dw: "how to deal with long, fine hair: cut it off"

Susie Dimarco: does everyone commenting have fine hair, mine is super thick and is hard to manage lol

Hussien Sabbagh: Lool ilike it

Ashley Trichilo: Thanks Tips. What an awful video.

perth45: And this videos tells us what??????

Ramani Husic: Dont have lo- lalalalalalala not listening I don't want to cut my hair :c
