Hey guys, it's Cassie and I'm here with a review and demo my first time using that got to be powerful, volumizing styling powder. I'Ve seen a few YouTube videos on this and it looks really great. So I thought I would try it out and so for my first time trying it, I thought I would kind of take you guys along. So this is what it looks like. I picked mine up at Walgreens and it was buy one get one free, so it was $ 5.99 and then I got a free one. So two four six bucks about $ 3, a piece not too bad. So it's a powder that you can do. You can use it two different ways. One way you can use it is to pour a little bit in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and then massage it into your roots. Another way is to just pour it onto your roots directly, which is what I'm going to do, but first I'm going to curl my hair and I'm going to be using my feliza Pro beauty tools. This is the styling wand and it has, I think, like 4 different sized ones you can use. So I'm just going to curl my hair and the way I've been doing it lately is parting it. You know in two parts like this and then I just kind of take sections and then I will clip this portion out of the way and I start from the back so before I do that. I want to use my heat spray heat protectant. This is the heat tamer spray by Tresemme. I have another one that I like better, but I'm trying to use up some of my old products, and this is almost done so I thought I would use that up and I just kind of spray it down and from about here down, because I don't want My roots to get any of it, I just want mainly my ends and pretty much anywhere, I'm going to be applying heat, and then I just kind of comb it through to keep it from getting. You know crunchy or this person. You know the product through my hair, okay, so then I separate it in two parts. I used to do it in layers, but then for some reason I stopped doing them. So I my mirrors gon na see what I'm doing and then I kind of separate it in half and I will kind of just pin this hair up and out of the way. And then I just start from the back, and this is just how I find is the easiest way for me to do it lately, it's just kind of how I've been doing it. You can do it, however, you like you, will hear even banging on a pot in the back. So then I always wear my glove because I just tend to burn myself. If I don't so, I have my glove. The only thing I don't like about it is, I don't always get such a great grip on the hair, but you know it's fine. So then I will grab the piece I'm working with. If I don't need this pinned back I'll, just use it to kind of pin that hair back so that I don't get it mixed in and I will take my wand put it behind my head and wrap the hair around and I'm left-handed. So this, when I work on my right side, I put it behind my head. I just hold it for a few seconds and I love the curling wand because it will curl the back of my hair, where most curling irons will not really hold a curl, and I did purchase this from Amazon. It was about $ 80 and I really liked it. I like that it has the different size wands on it or the different size wands. So you can get. You know, I think, has four. So you can get four different size curls, which is really great, and if you one piece like this, the end and get curled as well just kind of go back through and recur lit. So I'm going to curl the rest of my hair and then I will be right back okay, so I'm down to the last portion of hair here. So what I do is, I continue to just take sections, and I section it off vertically rather than horizontally, which is how I used to do it then I'll just pin the rest of this hair back on this side, when I I'd like to pin the hair Back because when I try to wrap the hair around the glove kind of catches, some of the loose hair of the section I'm not working on - and I just kind of hold it like this in my hand. So I can keep it pointed downwards and I like wearing the glove too, because then I can touch the barrel more and kind of hold the hair. Since I do have layers - and it just helps to kind of make sure all those layers are being curled at the ends, because I can kind of hold those little pieces down and sometimes if you have like an area that has a lot of the heat, protectant Kind of just stays on its own and then here's the last little section here and my bangs. So what I'm going to do is take this longer piece. I'M gon na clip my bangs back, because I don't want my bangs to get caught up in these pieces. So it kind of looks crazy. I just find this is what works best for me to get the look that I'm going for, and I kind of like the way that it looks doing vertical sections rather than horizontal. I just like the way the curls fall. A little bit more so, instead of taking separating my hair, you know evenly like this and then taking little sections. I take sections vertically. I don't know if that made any sense, but okay, so curled, my hair. I have a little bit of volume from just my morning, hair products that I usually use. I haven't Easter's or anything so I'm gon na try out this product and see cuz this side always kind of flat, because my part is more is over here. So this has a little bit more hair, so it does have a little more volume where this egg's kind of flat. So I'm going to do the method of just tapping it right into my roots. So I will just a little bit into my roots here and it is a white powder ooh, it's kind of got a little bit of a cooling sensation. Then I'm going to just kind of heart nip over a little bit more see. I don't know if you can see that powder and I have dark hair. So if you have blonde hair, I mean, if you also have dark hair it'll bit you'll be able to see if it leaves any residue, because my hair is obviously dark. Okay, let's get it on this side, I was kind of putting it sporadically. I'M looking like a crazy woman here with my hair, but that's okay and then you're supposed to massage your hair. So, okay, I can feel it's kind of about a stiff, not stiff, like a tacky feel to it. So I can definitely feel that there is some product in there and I'm just going to continue to massage my hair work that product into the roots can tame. My curls down a little bit - and I didn't put - I don't - have any hairspray or anything in my hair so but I do see a little bit more volume, especially on this side, where there's a little less hair. Due to my part. So I don't know you tell me if it looks a bit bigger, I see more volume kind of in this section. This side already had some volume in it prior, but I definitely see some more volume over on this section. Sorry, if I'm not looking at the viewfinder, I'm just looking in my mirror here trying to fix some of my hair, so I mean for five bucks or six dollars. I think it my hair now that I'm feeling it it still feels soft. It doesn't have like a product build-up feel, and I usually like to tease my hair. The only bad thing about teasing. My hair is one it's damaging into you kind of get. That kind of. I don't know a rat nest feeling because your back combing all of that hair to make that poop to give it that body. So this is kind of giving me the same effect as it does when I back comb, my hair, but it still is like movable you know, so I don't know I really like it. It'S a nice alternative to having to back comb, tease your hair and it's not damaging it, and you know the little head massage I gave myself was kind of cool, so I don't know I like it so far, so this is just you know my first time Using it and just kind of a demo, you don't need much product. This whole thing is full of powder. I picked up two because they were buy one get one free at Walgreens, so check out your Walgreens but yeah for a six box not having to back comb my hair, and that was pretty quick. I definitely try it again when I just do my hair straight and see what it looks like, but as for curly hair, it worked out really good and I like to usually run my fingers through my curls anyways, so kind of doing the massage. Then just kind of loosened up my curls a bit, so I like it guys if you've tried this, let me know what you think of it or if you know any other products that are like this. I think Bed Head has one like this, but I think it's probably more expensive. So again, this is the got to be powerful, volumizing styling powder, I'm pretty crust with it. I think that it did give me some more body around the sign. You could probably separate and do the crown of your head a little bit more to to give a little bit more volume in the back. But I don't know I'm pretty impressed. So if you saw a difference between before I did it and after let me know - and if you try to let me know or any other products that are similar to this - I love to hear about them stuffing these guys, I hope, you're having a fantastic day And a great weekend and I'll talk to you guys later bye, guys

Christine Spencer: Great hair tutorial, I love your curls, so pretty!

EvilStrawberry: Beautiful! I saw this a while back at Walgreen's. I will have to go back and get it. I also saw that they had a new dry oil and serum. Maybe I will wait until they run a deal on them.

Mrslolalynn: love the curls and I am a believer now! I think I'm going to buy this!

Julia G.: @ShadesOfKassie I will! Thanks for the response. Btw, just curious, do you get your ends cut with a thinning shears? It seems very light and not weighed down and that's the way I'd like mine to be!

kokopufft77: I've used a similar product but it was salon brand and much pricier. Will have to check this out, thanks!

Mast Oora: please do a demo of the tarte foundation! u look great as always.love ur videos! is ur hair naturally curly and u straighten it?

Kassie Thatcher: @missmac182 Thank you!!! I will do a video for sure!!! My hair blowdried looks like it did at the start of the video. That is pretty much what it looks like if I left it to air dry as well.

Kassie Thatcher: @Mrslolalynn Thank you!!! this stuff is AMAZING! works great for straight hair too!

Kennedy: It's an absolute nightmare to wash out for me! Works very well, though. You're very pretty!

Julia G.: I have this and have not really been impressed. But I have only put it on my hands and then applied it. I will try applying it directly to roots. I did feel like it gave me a gunky product-y feel, which drives me nuts.. Aveda has a product similar to this and for me they seemed to work (or not work) about the same.

Kassie Thatcher: @iwillstom I have fine-ish hair but A LOT of it... my roots tend to get really oily the next day (with or without this product) but on freshly clean hair and just putting it into the roots I found that it gave volume without Gunky feeling which I HATE GUNKY feeling!!!! try it again and let me know how it works! xoxo

Krystal Valentin: I think I need some of that stuff...lol. My hair is really flat and I hate teasing my hair because it's so damaging. Convinced me :)

Kassie Thatcher: @KrystalsBeautyCue I love it!! Check out your walgreens because it was BOGO free so $5.99 for 2! Whoop whoop!!! You will love it

Julia G.: @ShadesOfKassie Mine is fine but longer and very heavy. I will definitely break it out and try again though. :)

Kassie Thatcher: @smilesunshine888 It lasted all day! Every once in a while I would just massage my scalp and it would get HUGE again! :) Also didn't give me a dirty grimy feeling in my roots either!!

Kassie Thatcher: @iwillstom Try putting onto roots. I found my hair was still super soft and not gunky product feeling at all...maybe use a little less? or maybe to could be different hair textures?

Kassie Thatcher: @kokopufft77 Yeah I absoluetly love it!!!!

Kassie Thatcher: @jesspynk13 I know Walgreens (at least mine) had BOGO free on ALL Got2B products!

Kassie Thatcher: @daydreemernluv Thank you :) hehe my hair looks a bit crazy throughout the video! lol

Kassie Thatcher: @llamaman25 Thank you so much! xoxo

Kassie Thatcher: @smilesunshine888 I LOVE IT

Kassie Thatcher: @kennedymeow Really?? Bummer!! I didn't have any issue washing it out :(

Kassie Thatcher: @daniellem1222 Thank you :) I love big hair...my dad calls it helmet head buahahahaha

llamaman25: You are beautiful!!

The Unmodern Millennial: How's this smell?

Kassie Thatcher: I didn't notice a scent

Kassie Thatcher: @Jessiiicrackkk buaahhahahahaha pretty hot huh!
