Hi guys welcome back to my channel, so firstly, what you want to do is test the water on your hands to make sure that the temperature is okay. Then you're going to go ahead and wet down your clients hair. So in this video I'm going to be talking to you a little bit about how to wash a client's hair properly. So what you're going to have to do is take your shampoo of choice and you're going to apply it to the damp hair you're, going to make sure that you saturate the scalp with shampoo. Obviously, you can see that this client has short hair. So it's going all over, but if the client has longer hair and try and focus it on the scalp, what you need to do is make sure you get the whole of the scalp using the pads of your fingers and using circular motions and massaging the debris Of your scalp do not use your nails as this may cause irritation to the scalp. If a client really wants you to scratch, the scalp then use something like a scout brush, which I will talk to you about in a separate video. It is important that you get right at the back of the head as well right where the client rests their head on the sink, then you need to rinse off the soap and repeat this first step after you've washed the head twice to remove all the build-up And the debris from the scalp, you will need to make sure that the hair is clear of any shampoo completely so make sure you section off the hair and check the scalp and make sure that all the shampoo is rinsed out of the hair. After you have ensured that the scalp is clean, you could go ahead and grab a towel and make sure that you pat dry the clients hair after you've, made sure that the hair is completely dry or not as soaking wet. You can go ahead with your favorite conditioner or you can put on a deep conditioner and apply this to the hair if the hair is longer do focus on the length of the hair, but because my client has short hair, I'm just going to apply it to The majority of the hair and scalp then you're, going to give your client a scalp massage and make sure that you stimulate the scalp and encourage blood flow after this you're going to detangle your clients, hair and then after detangling you're, going to rinse out. All of the conditioner and then you're prepared for styling stay tuned for my next video and I'll show you how to wrap short hair, hey guys. Thank you for staying tuned to my little salon series on how I give my client the best client experience. Please rate comment and subscribe and don't forget to share this video with your friends and family. Thank you for watching guys and I'll see you in my next video
