Curly Hair - Styling Options

Everyone i let my hair dry, naturally curly today and i once again used my moroccan oil curl, defining cream, which i love. I wanted to show you, though, what i will do sometimes just to get some lift up here, because all of my curl kind of ends up here and nothing at the top, and my daughter has the same issue so to get a little volume up here. I'M going to pin it and i want to show you how i do that, so i'm going to take a piece like this and you see the volume that that has i'm going to take my bobby pin pinch it okay. I hope you can see that i'm going to pinch it and push it forward. Okay, so i'm going to pinch it this way. You see what that does, and i'm not going to be too particular about it. I'M just going to keep going until i like the look, usually i'll, do a couple. So one here and i'll leave this out. I think that's kind of cute again, i'm gon na kind of separate my pen, i'm pinching it here and i'm hooking the uh bobby pin on that section and then again i'm pushing forward. Okay, if i feel like i haven't gotten it right, i'm just gon na take it out and pinch it forward again that locks it in place and, to me this looks just a little bit better. It gives me a little bit more shape up here and it narrows this section out, so it doesn't look so wide. We do it on the other side, so messily, i'm gon na pinch it here, i'm gon na put it around and poke forward here section and go forward, and i hope that helps now.
