How To Style Short Hair | Korean Inspired Curls

Hey guys and welcome back to my channel, so as you can see, my hair is a little bit different, a lot different. Actually, I decided to take the plunge and chop it and dye it a little bit darker and strayed away from my platinum roots, which is all I've known and loved over the past. I don't know how many years, but I wanted to do this, like Korean inspired hair tutorial and now that it's short, I literally looked at like thousand photos of these cute Korean girls with these short hair - and I didn't know if it was suit me - and I Wanted it so bad, and after, like months and months and months of just looking, I decided it ChaCha, you know so today, I'm going to show you guys how I did this look and how I went from this leave. This could be you gon na buy the Tina people Authority. This is already done to this. If you are interested in that, just keep watching. Okay, so we're gon na get started, believe it or not. I have not done a straight hair. Look with this hair. So far, but we're gon na go ahead and do a Korean inspired hairstyle. This is my pro style of Hawaii hair styling, my first straight hair, but we're not doing straight Brandis crazy. I bought this in Japan shortly before we left. It'S like a thermal protectant water smells nice too. If you see you patches a purple in my hair, I used an extremely dark purple shampoo, because I wanted to tone my roots and my entire hair was like purple purple and I washed it yesterday with like a non purple. Shampoo and a lot of it came out, but we still got some some blue straight by the way I were using the cheapest, like curling wand. I could find it's just a Philips one. It was like 20 bucks and it was the only like 220 voltage. You want, I could find, and I would have preferred a bigger barrel, because this one, I don't know if this is like one inch three quarters of an inch, it's pretty small, so it makes like a small curl. I don't want to invest in nice, hair products because anytime I use a converter or like a transformer with my 120 volt. It always ruins my hair tools. I ruined my straightener and I was no fries, my hair, so I can't even use that so curling wand. It is so basically like the Korean wavy hair trend for the Korean curly. Hair trend is like super and in Korea, especially like curling, the bangs and stuff, so we're gon na attempt that you see how goes I am going out after this. So yeah. Here'S to hoping that it doesn't look like a mess, I'm also not wearing my contacts or glasses. So let's just uh is half blind. So let me tell you guys a little bit about why I cut my hair. I'Ve been bleaching my hair and trying to keep it mostly platinum within it, occasional like pink color hair in there. For years now, and I've been trying to grow out my hair now one point my hair was like down to here. It was really long and I loved it, you know moving around and changing stylist and this knife people are familiar with her hair. This last particular time that I had my hair bleached. It was like the ends were really really bad and I tried to save them as much as I could, but it was just not a cute look, so I decided to go for the chop and I also wanted to chop off all the layers. So now my hair is almost basically one layer. I don't section off my hair, like most people. Do honestly, too lazy for that and I'm going to a size, that's big and I'm just gon na wrap it around leaving kind of the tip out, and I'm basically going to do this on my head. Oh see this is what we don't want and instantly brush it out, lose this and I'm just gon na rotate it. So this first time I wrap my hair this way around, I'm going to go away from my head this time. I should have started away from my head the first time, but it's okay, you know it's. Okay, we live and we learn see it away from my head is better, that's better. I wonder if I can save this. Oh, what's done is done and then the reason why I don't section off my hair is because I like the bottom to just be kind of like wavy straight, so that it's not all curled, and I don't look like what's that little girls from that one movie. I don't know little curly, hair red-haired girl instantly brush it out, so that it's more wavy and pieces that aren't curled as much or an easy fix. If you take a thinner piece of hair, you do not want to leave it wrapped around for a long time, because you know it's gon na be extremely tight and that's what she said see how much shorter my hair is. It'S like an inch shorter than the rest of my hair, which now that it's like growing out like a quarter of an inch, I kind of like the length when it's straight like I feel like it looks cute on everybody, but I feel like it doesn't really Suit me because, like my face is round and just kind of have like a messy messy vibe going on over here, you know a few. Your noses in the background do not to be alarmed that is my cat's yeah, this hitting it family, it ain't. It'S I'm gon na see. If I can fix that, might fix it. I might ruin it so we're either gon na be crying or oh, no, oh, no! Oh, no! No I'll, just flatten her out as best as I can I'm let it set that way anyway. So yeah I cut off my hair because it was dead and I wanted all my layers to be even and I'm trying from this point to grow it out. Yesterday I made a do I hair mask. While I was taking a bath where I took an egg, castor oil jamaican black, castor oil - I don't know if it makes a difference and olive oil and put that as a mask on my head for like an hour by the time I went to wash my Hair, like my hair, was so stiff and dry. I was worried that egg would cook in its, but it didn't and by doing that, it's supposed to really help. Oh no, I always suck at this side. Oh no! No! This is not a tutorial. Oh my gosh! This is not a tutorial okay. I started taking like hair supplements again and doing these like castor oil masks, because I really my hair to grow long and healthy. So these vitamins are super cute. Their hair, skin and nails they're called the heartbreaker gummies, make them boys cry, hair, skin and nails vitamin complex. They have biotin folic acid vitamin A sixty pieces. You take two at a time, so one one supply their soy free cruelty, free gluten free. They literally taste like I want to say, strawberry gummies, but it's almost like a gummy mix with like a Laffy Taffy, but it's very like a very soft lovey taffy, but strawberry flavor and then in the shape of little hearts, they're really cute. So, honestly, it kind of tastes like candy and if this is trying to cut back on like sugar sugar, so takes care of my cravings and it's good for me at the same time, and then I try not to like when I washed my hair, I don't Blow-Dry it at all, I let it air dry and I try to like wear my hair. Naturally, if I'm not doing anything like fancy only when I'm like going out or want to feel cute, that's when I apply key tools on my hair, so I'm not using heat on it every day, because I don't want to damage the ends. What do you guys think of this hair color, though, when it was first done and toned? It was like really beige, but now that I've been using like purplish and pulling it like aside from the roots, it's more like an ashy blonde, which I actually really like. This one scraggly piece right here that got missed so like yeah I'll, just like mix much bigger, bigger pieces and smaller pieces and they're not all really the same size, I'm not like anal about it. I don't want it to look like I tried. I wanted to kind of look like I woke up like this yo, I'm like 30, I'm starting to sweat by the way this necklace I picked up in Ukraine. If you haven't seen my crime, vlogs they're, not up yet as of this moment, but they'll be up very soon. I got it at the Pechersk Lavra and it's actually blessed counting or if it's a white, gold or silver, but it was like a steal and I picked out the chain and the the pendants separate, and I love the chain. I think it's so unique. It'S like. First of all, this very like white, it's very like shiny and the chain is not like it's almost like flat and like thick, almost like a rope. I'Ve never seen a chain like this, and I've been looking for a cross necklace for so long now. Just that's my husband and I finally found the perfect one and like every day that I wear it. It reminds me of Ukraine. You know not saying you guys that to look what ten minutes, not even we're done so you can either worry. You know like this.
