Hi I'm t cooper, I'm in New York, City, makeup artist, hair stylist and I'm also co-founder of beauty and grooming company. Metro. Look a question that one of you recently asked me was: what should you ask a black hair stylist now questions that you ask a black hair stylist should refer to your personal needs. So if you are african-american yourself, you want to make sure that they know how to handle your hair. So you need to ask them if they're familiar with african-american hair types, if they have the proper tools and that they have the proper products to handle your hair. Another thing you can do is you can ask them to see examples of their work to make sure that their work is up to par and it's up to your personal standard. If you are not an african-american woman, you might want to ask a black hair stylist. If she's familiar with your specific kind of hair - and you would do the same thing, you would ask what tools you use. What products you use, how you handle my hair, and you can also even ask them to do a step-by-step guide to what they would do to your hair. You want them to do your hair and they should want your business enough to sit there with you for a few minutes and let them know let you know how they would handle your specific hair type. So you just need to have an open dialect and have a lot of open communication with your black hair stylist to make sure that they can do your hair and it will be up to your par and you'll. Look fabulous and you'll feel good about yourself and you'll be happy, so I'm to Cooper, and I hope this helped and I thank you so much for watching you.

Change2be1: I have for years went with the wave noveau which is a curly perm that's not so heavy . I have decided to go natural because even though I may get the curl again with the humidity heat my hair grows fast so it only may last 1 to 2 months. So I wanted to get coloring in my hair because of some gray I have. My question is can I get coloring in my hair without getting any chemical and I know the ends will have to be cut because I still have curl on my ends if I put moisturizer on the ends curl but the new growth from the roots is still nappy.
