Troy Turner | Celebrity Hair Stylist │ StyleBlazer

I'M celebrity hairstylist, Troy Turner and you're watching style a sitcom. I started doing here three years ago seriously. Three years ago, when you grow up in, like you know, bus most kind of hood, you're gon na want to be that guy that do hair. You know I mean coming from high school and playing football and being like the prom king. You know other stuff, it's like you, don't really want to go that route to being now a hair stylist. So I started doing that. I decided to go to college and for finishing college I got a job working at Sony. Unfortunately, with the economy, everything that was happening got laid off, so I got let go and I decided to I you know, make a change like this is a new city. I want to try something different. I want to follow my passion, which was no one here I met samaya, I started working with samaya from loving, hip hop and then Tamiya introduced me to Gloria and Laura from basketball, wives and then from there I went. I was working with them. A stylist who I worked with with Kim introduced me to Maya start working with Maya and kind of went full circle. Then I ended up working with Maxim magazine for a project with Erica Mena from Love & Hip. Hop went out to LA for a while, so I'm eating a whole bunch of basketball-wise started doing that hair this within eight months. So what do we bust to do is just so different varieties of hair styles. You can do with your hair in between salon visits. A really good fall trend right now would be um. Basically, braids braids are great Falls right, and what I'm about to create is basically a Roman style braid. Now that one side of the braid is complete, you would just part your hair straight down the middle and attempt to do the same. I wanted to do a side part, so it can kind of drape down in the face a little bit, and this works well with really like all textures texture types of hair. It'S really easy to do. You know if you you know, have like a if you wanted to do something different for it's an updo instead of doing like the same old, regular bun. Now, with this, I would take a bobby pin now with the two leftover parts just to create, like a more of a fan of like the more of a Messier. Look, because you don't want to look too together, just create it easy about 10 minutes. To do look something different just to change up your in between stages when we're not visiting a hair salon. 5Min your connect with me: you can go to Troy, L Turner, comm Instagram is Troy. Styles yeah all right!

Vikki Star: He's very handsome

NaturallyTiTi: Wow a Roman style braid. Sorry but braids were not started with the Romans, braiding the hair is an African technique. Braids, locs, cornroles, all originated from Africa. Please give credit where credit it due.

Dustin Overstreet: cutie

Stephen Colvin: Hubba Hubba
