Hey friends, welcome back to my channel and welcome back to another day of 12 days of litmus if you're new super special welcome to you. 12 Days of Christmas is 12 days of Non-Stop videos, new videos every single day, leading all the way up to Christmas. So I'm so glad that you're here go ahead and hit that subscribe button. So you don't miss out today we're getting into a braid out for that first time. I'M so excited I've done multiple twist outs and stuff, but I've never ever actually done a burrito which is kind of crazy, so we're gon na do that today, and I also like for all of my twist outs: I've never done them on blown out hair and I'M kind of feeling like that might give us a cute more holiday s kind of Vibes, so we are doing a braid out on blown out hairs today and I'm excited to get those hairs together because it is a mess right now the stakes are high. I have a photo shoot with Hershey tomorrow, we're doing matching pajamas together, so we're getting a little Christmas photo some more holiday content tomorrow. So I need this to come out good. I don't know I'm still kind of not over my filled roller set and then, after that I had a wash and go that only lasted me. Like two days. It was like back to back, fails it felt like so I'm ready to succeed and look really cute. I did also go through all of the products that I want to use for this and they're all background as well. So we love that, let's just go ahead and get started, I will meet y'all in the shower all right so to cleanse my hair, I'm going in with the pattern Beauty clarifying shampoo. I love this stuff. This works really well, even though it's colder outside. I still have been loving my clarifying or detoxifying shampoos, mainly because I've been working out on a consistent basis, so my scalp really needs that extra, really good clean. My hair is getting so long that I'm going to be using a detangling brush today, usually for a wash and go. I don't necessarily like to use a brush to detangle too much because I notice sometimes it can kind of disrupt my crawl counter and change it up just a little bit ever so slightly. But today, since we are not doing a wash and go, I'm gon na go ahead and speed up this detangling process with the shampoo by using my Felicia Leatherwood detangling brush. Oh, I just love detangling with shampoo, so much that still hasn't changed like the shampoo washes out better. The cleanse is deeper. The curls feel better. It'S just major key and this shampoo is a great one to do it with actually because it's got some really nice slip in here. It'S clarifying, but it's still kind look nice and moisturizing as well. It'S a great shampoo. I heard deep conditioner today, I'm using the uncle funky's daughter, maximal maximal maximum thermal protection deep conditioner. They have like a whole collection of this stuff that is meant to protect your hair against heat damage. So it's infused with silk, bamboo and quinoa to prevent heat damage. It'S for all hair textures, so they have like they have a whole range shampoo, conditioner and a couple other products I'll show you next to help you avoid heat damage. So we love that all right, so I'm going to go ahead and leave this in. While I finish up the rest of my shower and then we'll be ready to get into this blowout okay, it is time to get this blow out going. The reason why I'm doing this for my bed is because the World Cup's on Rizzo's playing right now. So I really want to see this match anyways to blow dry. My hair, I'm really excited I'm using the brand new rev air. They have like a new and improved more smaller compact version. This is it right here. It'S like a nice sleek black I'll, also insert a clip of their older. Rather so you can see you know for comparison purposes. I personally really really love the way how the new one looks, super Sleek cute and a lot smaller. So, oh cool, so look it has like an actual digital thing here. I think this is the number of tension. Okay, so it says: shorter hair May manage better than longer hair at higher tension levels. Ref has no rules so start low and slow and test your way up. I think I might start since it goes all the way up to seven. I think I might start attention level, maybe four and then we'll go from there and see yeah we'll just see how it goes from there and the only product I'm going to use for this blowout is this primer. This is from the same uncle funky's daughter, maximum thermal protection collection and it's just a primer again, another step to help prevent heat damage. So I'm gon na do that. Okay, there's one more setting for us to choose which is on the handle right here. So the double line is high heat and they said even on high heat, the rubber heat is still very relatively low. Um still, your hair may require even less so. We recommend you experiment with both high and low settings, Okay cool. So I'm going to start with low Heats and then actually because we're doing low heat I'm going to do higher tension. So, let's start with tension. Five lower Heats. Let'S do this. I think it's getting the job done with the low heat. So I'm going to stick to low heat, but probably up the tension to six to see if we can get this just a little bit straighter, not that it really matters, but I'm just kind of curious to see. Okay, so still kind of similar results. A little bit crimpy, so I guess I will test since we did all this heat protection. We might as well test the higher heat and they said that it is safe. It'S still um, not as hot as a blow dryer. I believe so we're just gon na. Do it spray a little extra heat damage protection on there? Why do I feel like that, didn't really make a difference at all. You know what I think I might be using sections that are too big. Let'S try this! Oh, you can see that works a little bit better. There we go um so yeah. It looks like high heat tension. Six, I might even try tension seven um, but I think high heat will give us a little bit more of a straight look, because I mean even this side is fine too, though it's just for a braid out, it's not like for straight hair, but look at That look at how much more straight it is and like compressed anyways. We just proceed now all right, so we're fully blown out y'all. I first of all hello length, because what my hair has gotten so so long, it's it's such a cute mid-length. I think I've officially graduated from the short hair, and now we are into mid length category. I think what do we think um? This has me so tempted to straighten my hair as safely as possible. You know, but I've never done it, and I think this is such a cute length to do it at so. Please do, let me know in the comments below if y'all would be interested in seeing that clearly, I'm just into experimenting with my hair right now. So now my dilemma is: do I do a middle part or do I do like a side part? Maybe I can like do it middle and then, if I decide once the braid out is out, maybe I can flip it over. I think I actually do want to do a side part I'm gon na braid it out in a side part. Okay, I'm excited so I'm gon na be using the Camille Rose. Spiked, honey, mousse. I just love this mousse. So much at this point, y'all have seen me, use this multiple times um. So now we're gon na try for the braid out. I love how soft and moisturized and shiny it makes my hair. So I think that will be perfect for a braid out. Oh my gosh. It feels so weird to feel my hair, so straight right now, so I'm just gon na use a very small amount, because a little bit goes a very long way for this all right. So we're all done. This is how we're looking my hair. Just looks and feels really good: it feels nice and smooth from the blowout. I'M just excited I'm feeling good about this one y'all. I was trying to decide whether I was going to fully dry today and take it out from today or if I was just going to wait until tomorrow, because Hershey and I shoot is not until tomorrow - and I think what I'll actually do is probably sleep with It and then come back tomorrow and show y'all what the final results are. Looking like right before our shoot, so it could be nice and fresh and popping and ready to go for tomorrow. So I'm excited we'll check in tomorrow for final results, all right y'all it's the next morning, and it is a Moment of Truth. The braids are still looking nice and smooth. I didn't even sleep with a bonnet on or anything I just slept on top of my sign pillowcase, and so this is how we're looking it looks so good, let's go ahead and take them out. I'M gon na grab my Rio Geo strengthening oil. My top fave just apply a couple drops to my hands, so we can avoid as much frizz as possible. Let'S get in there. I have been dying to take this out from like yesterday, so I'm just gon na like really carefully kind of separate the curls a little bit as we go. Okay, it's giving like crimp Vibes a little bit Yeah, so braid out very different from a twist out. Oh, I just love how soft my hair feels it feels so good and I think that's all thanks to the blowout. I'M also noticing that the blowout helps to kind of obviously keep the hair more stretched. So it's not as shrunk, so we we retain some length here. Oh my gosh. This is about to be so cute. Look at this. Who am I right now? Can we just give a quick shout out to my shape right now, because this Bob shape is so cute, I'm still kind of separating a couple of the curls, but I don't know what I expected it wasn't this, but I kind of love it especially for holiday Season, okay, you know what this reminds me of this reminds me of right before I went natural, I still had my fully relaxed head of hair and I used to do braid outs instead of like straightening, my hair, because I really like the curly look on me And so this is kind of what a braid out looked like kind of on my relaxed hair, like with like the wavy kind of lazy curls that are like fluffy, it's giving volume. This is actually so cute. I think what I would do to style. This is probably slip this part down. Actually you know what let's go ahead and do it so I'm going to take my curl maker, I'm just gon na apply it directly here and then I'm just gon na brush her down. I feel like that made a little bit of a difference. I feel like the more that I play with it, the more that I look at it, it's really nice. What do y'all think you got ta. Let me know in the comments: if y'all love it, if y'all hate it, what you think, maybe I should have done different what I could do different next time. This is going to be part. One of this video so stay tuned for part. Two I'm gon na, take you along with me the next couple of days and show you how I go to sleep, how long we can get this to last. What other styles? I do like we're just gon na kind of go through this process together, because this is my first time doing my hair like this. So I'm really kind of curious to see how it's going to change and evolve over the next couple of days. But for now this is how we're looking - and I I'm not mad at her okay thanks so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. I will catch y'all tomorrow in the next one, bye foreign

Life and Style Atlanta: The braid out is super CUTE! I love that you experiment with your hair. My last relaxer was December 2018, and I’ve worn my hair in the same curly puff for FOUR years. I’m trying to get the courage to book a consultation with your hair stylist.

Facesbyt. Michelle on IG: Love detangle my hair with shampoo too! This style is cute! I'm gonna have to try it!

Jessica Sopolis: I LOVE it so much! Gorgeous results!

Jennifer Brook: i tried a blowout braid out for the first time last week. omgi absolutely love this style. my now new go to style

AJ: I love it it looks very healthy and full! I'm so happy that you love it as well!

Courtnie Turrentine: I love the braid out look!!

Huntress Yalena: I love braid outs and twist outs both easy to manage and if i feel it needs a refresh i just do the top layer which is usually 4 mini braids or twist and slightly damp them braid up again and take out ready to go

Lois Berry-Rose: Really cute hair style! Your hair is beautiful!

Ashkenia Sims: I love it! It looks Amazing!

Deborah Woods: Came out great. Love the shape of your hair.

Tianna Lae: I would love to see your hair straight ❤…. Your braid out came out so cute

Veronica Jenkins: Love it! ❤️

Belinda Sanders: I like it. I'm blowing out to trim this weekend. I plan to twist with the spiked honey mousse. This will be my first attempt at styling on blown out hair in my 11 years being natural. I'm only doing it because I'm trimming.

Cherisse Richards: Yes I would love to see your hair straight... I'm alone contemplating to straighten out mine as well

Cher H: the difference with blown out hair! Wow! I love it! I need that dryer but it says not available

Carlene Clark: Wow your hair has grown a lot. yes, if you can try the press out on your hair but please protect it .

Lisa McCurdy: Super pretty. If you use diffuser or hooded dryer , it will set the style and eliminate frizz as opposed to air drying. Will last longer. Can use mousse to re braid areas where frizz sets in if you want to extend style.

twilliams9259: Setting your hair on wet hair will give you more definition and hold. Next time, braid your hair wet (like after a fresh wash). Then use the RevAir to dry and stretch the braids. I think the results will be different.

Tasha P: I love it!!! & The shape is❤❤!!

Dejarnett Lee: Really Cute, Nice ❤️

Shanel Miller: I don’t what or who made you want to try this but I’m excited to watch

Angelique Sisilia: I just love!!!

Sammy Da Goat: Third Comment Loving This
