When I started making YouTube videos, my hair sucked, it had no shape, it was too short and it wasn't healthy. But after following the plan that I'm about to lay out for you, my hair completely changed. The difference is night and day, and here is how I did it first, you need to do research clicking on this. Video is the first step, but if you truly want great hair, that gets compliments. Not only do you need to follow through with every tip on this video, especially the fourth one, which was a major game changer for me, but you also need to put some of your own time into researching hair in general and what I mean is find out What type of hair you have is it thin? Is it thick? Is it curly wavy straight? Where are your cowlicks? You need to understand that everyone's hair is different and that the solution is not going to be one size fits all. I have medium to thick wavy, hair, sometimes curly, depending on the weather. That means that, if I want to rock this hairstyle, I would have to straighten my hair. If I want to rock this hairstyle, I would have to curl my hair with my fingers, and then you use a diffuser once you know your hair type you'll be able to know exactly what you need to do to achieve your dream. Hairstyle tip number two do not get comfortable with your Barber he's a guy or girl that can either hook you up with an incredible hairstyle or make you look like this. So take your time to choose the right Barber I used to go to Supercuts right, which is a affordable Salon chain here in the US I paid 17 for a haircut back then one day I really needed to get a haircut and I went into the salon In Los Angeles that charged me 35 bucks and man I was broke back then so 35 bucks was a stretch. Then you got ta tip the guy. So I'm sweating as I'm getting this haircut, because I'm thinking man, I could have paid half the price and just gone to my usual place. Now I'm in this new spot, I don't know what I'm gon na look like, and on top of that I got no money. So this sucks right this guy his name, was Alex. He was this funny guy from the Philippines super nice dude. This is him here. He starts talking to me about my hair and hyping me up. He said I had nice hair. He said I should let it grow a little longer that I should try these specific products. He washes. My hair gives me a scalp, massage, I'm all of a sudden, like I'm feeling relaxed right, incredibly relaxed, I'm feeling like a complete boss, a broke boss, but a boss. Nonetheless, he educated me about my hair. He told me what type of hairstyles I should go for and of course he gave me a great haircut much much better than Supercuts. I was so happy that I looked my best. I'Ve ever looked, but I was also very annoyed that I knew that from that moment on, there was no chance that I was going back to Supercuts ever again and I didn't - and maybe it wasn't the best idea financially to go there every month at the time. But the return on that investment was massive. I finally found out that I too could have a nice hairstyle. I didn't have YouTube style, gurus back then right. I thought I had no chance until Alex guided me, and he showed me that I just needed a better haircut and, of course, better better products, which is my next tip number three stop using products I used to buy the tub of gel. I don't know if you guys ever bought those at the drugstores, but that was my jam. You know, like I said I was broke. I wasn't going to pay any more than five bucks for a hair product, but it cost me way more to buy the five dollar product than the 20 product. Why? Because for fifteen dollars more, I could have had way nicer. Hair for months, hair product lasts like two three, sometimes four months, so I was paying 15 more to get compliments to look better to have confidence to get more Tinder matches for months right, a hundred percent worth it. So, if you're on the fence, if you think it's not worth the money, I can guarantee that it's worth it and here's what I recommend the Forte series texture clay for insane all-day hold. This is perfect for a classic or a messy quiff, for example, and that's because you don't really want those hairstyles to move that much. The Styling cream, which is what I've been using lately, is perfect for slime slightly longer hair, especially if you want more flexibility. In the beginning of the video, I said that tip number four is incredibly important and it really changed my hair completely. So here it is learning how to properly use a blow dryer. Now I know that in the past blow drying was a thing that pretty much only women did right. It wasn't a manly thing, but now things have changed, not only that, but if I told you that your hair would look 10 times better, if you use the dryer to style it, why wouldn't you do it? It'S an absolute Game. Changer! I remember the first time I blow dried, my hair. I had a hair dryer. On my left hand, I brush on the right hand and out. I had no idea what to do like it just felt so foreign to me. It was so awkward. I had no clue what I was doing. I was about to give up, but I wanted to learn, because I knew that once I mastered it, it would actually completely elevate. My look so I kept practicing. The trick is to use the brush to shape your hair and then blow dry it to get rid of the water and then lock that style into place. So when you use a medium-sized round brush, it adds waves right, a medium to large size round brush. Now, a small round brush will give you tighter waves or tighter curls. A flat brush is going to straighten your hair. So you need to practice. You need the right tools, you need to practice and you need to get the dexterity needed to maneuver both tools properly and get the ideal hairstyle and it sounds complicated. It took me like two weeks: that's it right, the first time using a hair, dryer and a brush it sucked, but fast forward to now. It'S like Child's Play right. It'S so easy! I style my hair in five minutes. It'S done. I love how it looks and by drying it it locks my hair into place. Then I just add products and I'm off now. It'S not lifeless, it doesn't look wild with like split ends, it's not frizzy! So how do you take care of that? Well, it honestly I'd say it comes out to three main things: one, don't shampoo. Every day, shampoos are gon na dry out your hair dry out your scalp, slow it down every other day and then I'd say three times a week. That'S perfect! You don't need any more than that two apply a daily hydrating oil. This is going to add a natural shine, it smells great and it hydrates your hair, so that flows better. It controls frizz three, do not wash your hair with hot water. Warm is okay, but preferably you want cool to cold water. Hot water is going to dry. Your hair, it's going to dry, your scalp, your skin, too, so cold water is the way to go and trust me. If you follow these tips, your hair will look so so much better but make sure to check out the first link in the description to shop.
