One of the biggest tips that I have for people with fine hair is to avoid a heavy product and avoid using too much product. We have a tendency to think more product and heavier product will hold our hair up longer, but the weight of the product itself will actually have a big effect. That gravity will grab the product and pull it down. So you want to use something light and sticky that'll allow the hairs to stick to each other and hold each other up, but you don't want the product itself to have a lot of weight to it. So what I'm doing with the blow dryer here is just pushing the hair around in all kinds of directions: you'll notice that I'm not using my hand to push or pull the hair and I'm certainly not gon na use a brush when you introduce tension using a Brush or even your hand, it'll it can cause a hair to fall flat, but by allowing it to flip and whip around on its own you're gon na put more volume in there and granted. You could take it with a brush and yank. It upward to put volume in there, but I've found that that extra tension is great for making big hair smaller, but it's horrible for making flat hair bigger. You don't want to rush this step. This blow-dry lasted about four minutes and it might look like it's not doing a lot, but by pushing it around in all these different directions, it actually will soften up the cowlicks and especially when I blow-dry it forward and then style it back. It'S gon na add a lot of volume, so you want to focus your heat at the roots as you're doing this and don't stop right when the hair is dry, stop a good minute or two after it's dry. That'S when you'll start to get this kind of separation and texture. So at this point the hair is volumize. You can take it and push it around and move it and sculpt it. How you need, and if you wanted it to stay perfectly put all day, just mist it with a little bit of hairspray, but if you add too much, the hairspray will saturate the hair and it will fall flat again.

Faraz Rahman: This was great! How do you feel about prestylers during the blowdry process? I've had a lot more success getting strands to stick like you did with something light but strong like certain clays or thickening tonics.
Santos B: Awesome video! I honestly thought once the hair is fully dry, that’s when your suppose to stop, thanks for the tip! Also, what’s your go to hair spray?

KillKaneda: i have fine straight flat hair, I usually try to go for a swept back look but my hair tends to split and fall flat, any tips ?
Unknown Passerby: I don't use hair dryers. For me, I just get dressed after shower, then lie down on bed with a wet head and place a towel under my neck and hair so the bed won't get soaking wet. I have the AC on and a fan pointing at my hair. I just play games at my phone while waiting for the hair to dry naturally. I spread my hair upwards and make sure the back of the neck touches the towel. Once dried, you can get up and comb your hair sideways. The volume stays for hours even all day. It takes time but at least I get 10-15 mins nap after shower drying my hair. It also lowers my body heat after shower.
Joseph: Thank you so much for this dude!
AlexOswald: So the metal head kind of motion I was doing is actually helping my hair look bigger, epic

Jose Magallon: I have questions. 1. Are you using heat? Because there are options that you can use cold 2. What product did you use to add volume 3 what hair spray are you using
LIZARD CHEEKS: Thank you I’ll try this
ft.kmkc: Did he achieve his "zero stage" hairstyle with the wave in the middle (just the beginning of the video) without any products and only blow drying his hair? Just asking because I've got fine hair and after drying it falls flat but without any nice waves at the front, just falls apart flat and straight and I would like to get this wavy separation shown at the beginning instead (not the final result).
JT_55: I’m not sure if you’re still replying to this video but just wondering how hot and fast the hairdryer should be when doing this
FE_EVO_X: I have trouble applying the product in the middle part of my hair. (Inside area). The product dries quick.
Mark David Mallorca: Not even a pomade can make my hair stick together in some way
İbrahim Uzunoğlu: Would volume mousse be useful or would it make my hair heavier?
Kapish Rayat: What product did he apply before hair drying?
Mura Yagami: bro thnx for the tips appreciate it

Pickup Tricks: What heat setting for the blowdryer? What is the name of the product?
mike jab: I want my thickhair to fall flat so I am watching this video to do everything you said not to do
Chris 7: Awesome tip bro
Derrick Santos: Great! I’ve the same hairstyle. All I need now is a cure for genetic ugliness.
Chris: I don’t have a blow dryer with a thin flat piece in front. Does that change anything?
OhGeeGanksta: I see… no wonder why it always looks better after waking up and the shower.
mashpotatosauce: What is this style you’re doing called? I always have trouble researching these things.
VerzideGF: Thank you for video. But how do I get big volume like Blumaan? I get volume, I am thick hair but it is not like Blumaan. When I do flat wrap, my hair go too flat. No volume. When I normal blow dry, I get volume, but not like Blumaan.
nomercy8989: So that's how it's done. A guy at work has amazing hair and always wondered why my hair looks like pissed on hay
John D.: Why am i seeing this now? I needed this! Thanks man!
GamingwithCass: This is probably just for fine hair people and people that can't seem to get volume. Cause you said to keep it really simple with product. But I have coarser thick hair that gets a bunch of volume. Whenever I don't apply certain products to my hair. My hair doesn't have that natural smooth texture with no frizz and instead seems really dry/limp towards the ends. It also like to clump off towards the ends on the sides. I start off with leave in condtioner light spray to seal in the moisture. Than apply a oil based heat protectant to get a really shiny smooth result from blowout. Rough dry til it's about 100 percent dry. Than smooth out hair with round brush. Than apply light holding molding paste. Not sure if im doing too much. Just it seems like if I don't apply those products my hair looks too dry and texture feels off.
LeG-enD_06: The problem with my hair is it has too much volume
Sharath Chandra: I heard somewhere that hair roots get weakened when you blow it in other directions than you normally would on a daily basis, is that true?
Jay: Volume = attraction. All it needs is a couple days of no showering. This results in oil and dandruff flakes buildup. LMFAO
KataOnly: So I just need a partner to blow my hair dry now everyday
UUW: Can I use a powder? As it seems quite light as well
Aniruddha: But is hair dryer good if I use it regularly?
B.Singh: What product can be used, something natural that I shouldn’t wash out at the end of the day, because that’s bad for my hair if I was out every day
xStar NxB: So basically just blow dry it as long as it takes
Alex Alcázar: What kind of wax/product do you recommend?
Manav Singh: I have the same type of hair and I wanna try a short hairstyle, any suggestions ?
Eren Dikmen: So what to do when you don't have much hair and it's really soft?
Mehboob Mondal: What product did you use btw?
Diana Mosliel: Amazing
tirth vora: But the hair dryer weakens hair, too much heat is not good for any type of hair
Charlie Terrell: What product was being used in the video?
Mr. Ehteshaam: Can I apply coconut hair oil instead of that cream?
Will Bourner V: I have the opposite problem. My hair is too thick and I want it thinner and flatter.
Dennis: So the key is just blow dry it and don’t use any product, my hair is thick and when I do finish my styling it won’t stay the it was
Juan Carlos Barbero: Andrew does magic
Michael Rupolo: How do you sometimes I let my hair grow I want a very long this time if you could give me some tips on what to do thank you
Azure Mountain: what heat is the dryer on?
Hammad Awan: 1:34 need this confidence in my life
Mr. Shmeat: Awesome video, man
tsohgallik: Geez.. how many times you gotta go around waving the blow dryer No wonder Barbers be raising their prices nowadays
Gyndrath: Should I use pomade or etc
Aiden Silvia: My hair is weird wherever I put it it just stays. First I have to use water tho as otherwise I can't comb my hair. If your hair stays up without anything does that mean its thick.
TV HUB SB: Why when I part my hair to the opposite side it just falls over.
Mitchell Pintar: I have fine straight hair what are some diffrent haircuts I can do? I feel like literally nothing works thanks
My Living Journal: What if your hair is very thin? Will this work for that kind of hair? FINE and THIN..........
Mr Off Topic: Turns the blow-dryer "Hello darkness my old friend...."
G. Wiz: I find pomade does little to nothing besides frustrate me.. I'm at the end of my wits. I never use a hairdryer maybe I should. I'm afraid hairspray will damage my hair
9Lights: Nice, you've got skills
Srivasthav: Him : you need to use something light Me _uses water_ perfecto
harsh abhigyan: But doesnt regular blowdrying harm the hair?
Faizal: Captain America: I can do this all day.

Adamm_ASA: going to try this.
Mr. Ehteshaam: That cream necessary for vol. ?

CF Sports: Underrated channel
fearles: Is the product you use wax?
Harinder Mootoor: Thank you very much
