deborah lewis: For all the Karen comments, I'm starting to think it's actually a derogatory term for all older women who dare not wear a bun on their head. You really can't win. If you get a cute cut, you're a Karen. If you have long hair, you're unkempt.

Musings: The easiest to manage hairstyle for women over 50 is to grow it all the same length to an inch below the jaw, have a rough off-centre or side parting and have the thickest side tucked behind the ear.

GlimmerAndGold: This is from 2021? That stylist's taste seems a little dated. Most of them got that bottom-buzzed rounded bob style that looks more like 2010-2015. The Karen at the beginning with the ear cuffs - that haircut looked kind of cool, though, with the assymetric long bangs. The best one was the lady with the very light blond dyed hair with the longish 70s shag. That really made her look young!
