hello2ability: Well the suggested hairstyles are suitable for the minority of men who have some specific facial features. A man with large ears sticking out would look ridiculous without any side hair to cover it. Similarly a head with a narrow upper part and wider jaw would become unsymmetrical. A man with a longer face having pompadour would look even longer. So one has to consider the face type to determine a suitable hairstyle. These definitely are the choices from a small minority of women who have a specific male type in their mind. Moreover there are women on the internet finding these hairstyles that reveal scalp skin as disgusting. I have wavy hair that I am growing out to a medium length that just frames my face. Curly, wavy hair looks so awesome when groomed well - be it men or women. So guys just care to appear well groomed and love the hair you have.
