Anti Age Haircut – Fine Hair Pixie Undercut For Mature Women Over 50

Pixie haircuts for women over 50, contrary to popular belief, may look current and flattering. You just need to find your perfect short crop and keep it stylish with a suitable product. Discover exciting pixie trends that work for older women and choose the cut that will flatter you best!

To look much younger than your age, you need to coordinate the choice of a new cut with your face shape. Complement an undefined jawline and full cheeks with angled asymmetrical haircuts. Volume on the top of the head will elongate the face. To soften square face, consider rounded cuts with shaggy styles. Also, rethink your color. Update your natural gray pixie with silver blonde highlights or dark gray lowlights. Balayage, bright shades and two-toned colorings are in too. Learn styling basics: defined layers, spiky or swept back top will always work.

Do so so do um, hmm um uh, you

Gomba13: I just really don't understand what a hairstyle has to do with age, and also the obsession with trying to hide how old you are. The suggestion is that age makes you ugly, and that is just an excellent way to make mature women feel like crap about themselves, because no matter what you do, you can't change your age, so even when you look great, you are self-conscious. I do absolutely nothing to hide my age, all while also not doing anything that would highlight my aging features (no glittery eyeshadow, for example). I don't style myself based on age, I style myself merely based on what looks good on me. My hair is getting grey, I don't dye it. I have fun with the grey streaks, incorporating it into the hairstyles and the swirls of grey hair give depth and texture to the look. With skin, same thing: I have acne scars, discolouration and wrinkles. I don't even use foundation, I just spot treat discolouration with a corrector pencil to even out my skin. I absolutely don't think of age or how I compare to other women when I style myself. I merely think of working with what I have and making the best of it, the same as a girl in her twenties would. People who are preoccupied with their age when styling themselves only end up looking like someone who is preoccupied with their age, a.k.a., an insecure person. As I age, I get more and more compliments on my looks, and I believe that that's because, contrarily to most women my age, I look fairly natural and confident. A haircut shouldn't be based on how old you are but on the shape of your face and how much work you are willing to put into styling that haircut.

carol maat: The most unflattering hair cut for an older woman.

Joan Gentile: She should have touched up her roots first, before getting a haircut. It would look a lot better, if she did. Just my opinion.

Dianna Lee: Possibly one of the worst haircuts I’ve seen!!! Poor lady!!

Marlene Greene: I thought the haircut was awful. Look what he did to the back at her hairline!

Katherine Wold: Sweetheart it was so brave of you to go in for a new style and have it filmed, it just doesn't do you justice. Your longer hair with it's color looked healthy & vibrant though we didn't get to see the complete 'before' style. Perhaps grow back to a *little longer where it gives you softness* around your face and some color (light brunette?) that will blend with the white/gray. Kudos to you : )

Malinda Mooradian: How is this anti age? This is totally an old lady cut!

Carol Purcell: Yep, she's over 50. Might as well make her look like a man... THIS IS AWFUL! A cute pixie is one thing. This is malpractice.

that girl: Your music is so soothing & relaxing, lucky clients

LS Australia: The lady watching is thinking "shit, I'm next"

kris peterson: Too manly looking and if you’re looking for anti aging “dye those roots”!

Linda Russ: The nape of the neck is too short! Otherwise, it’s ok.

Linda Gore: If someone cut my hair like that I wouldn't pay. Infact I might hit him.

Andrea oldfield: Not really an anti age cut! I probably would have not cut it that short for her.. it’s too blocky and makes her head and neck look a little odd. I’m sure it’s what she wanted but it really isn’t anti age. She looks all face and head now.. Not been mean just saying it’s wrong.. My opinion I suppose..

concerned citizen: I'm older and like the pixie but only if it's on a small face. I keep mine short. I have fine hair but luckily it grows in on the thick side. I would be terrified that I would end up looking like that if I asked for a pixie.

Ann Otto: Didn’t see her smile once!

Another Planet: Glad I fast forwarded to the end and didn’t waste time watching such a bad haircut. Also, the mask needs to cover nose and mouth or it is not doing a thing to protect the stylist or the customer.

Destin Naidu: Firstly, why showcase a head of hair that's three different colours - grey roots, a gold band and darker ends. The finished look will be compromised due to that alone!! Talking of finished look, why can't they at least spend 20 or 30 seconds to show the final result? So annoying. Personally, I think that the cropped nape area is far too severe and just looks plain awful. A feathery fringe and sides would have helped to soften the severity of the whole look

Anna Spivey: I hope she didn't have to pay for this .

Joan Gentile: Too short and manly looking for me. I would just get a trim. But, that's just my opinion. Someone else may like their hair cut this short. Everyone is different when it comes to getting their hair cut. Some people like their hair cut short. Then, others want their hair long. It all depends on the person and the type of hair they have. Just saying.

Karen Acton: That’s what the “undercut” looks like in Russia? Whoa!

jerik214: Well, that’s 11:22 of time I’ll never get back! What in the heck were we watching? That is one of the most unflattering cuts on a woman I’ve ever seen!! I love short hair, but this.....yuck.

Pauline Davis: Change your stylist ....and go to a professional for a real proper pixie cut !

Dazu ein leichtes Tages Make up Concealer Wimperntusche Rouge Lippliner Konturenstift und Lippenstift.

Penny Byrd: Who in their right mind would get this haircut?

Kay Sanderford: That hair style is awful and doesn’t do her any favors.

allen wert: Geez Louise! This is the second “pixie” haircut I viewed from this site. Awful! Not at all an attractive cut for this woman or ANYONE! Chris W.

K Sahlin: OMG, that looks AWFUL!

kirsty Jackman: Awful cut why do hardressers think women over 50 lose all right to nice hair !!

Gail Snodgrass: That was perhaps the most unflattering haircut of all time. Horrible especially the back.

Ramona Serianni: I feel so bad for the lady I'm sure she didn't realize if he was going to give her the worst haircut ever. I think he has a thing where I just likes to chop chop chop. And not really care what he is doing to his client.

Didi Mati: MOLTO BENE

Very nice and very nice video I subscribed to your creative channel

CherylAnn: I like the cut except for the neckline, it's way too short.

Linda Mcauley: Way too short for her and should have been coloured and conditioned.

Flojo Max: The back looks terrible! And way too short all around!

joanne poplawski: Her nape area never should have been buzzed like that.

cheryl bogdan: Looks so much better. But you have to keep it up to stay nice

Susan Ruby: Ugh! What a disaster. Hair needs to either be recolored or just grow out gray. The neck looks awful and you can tell this lady doesn't like it as she has a massive frown. Perhaps get her some concealer for he eyes before recording this video.

Dolores Peace: Don't like it so short & thin at neck line. Doesn't math top hair. He shaved to short. Personal opinion

Barbara Faulkner: that haircut looks like something you would see in a public mental institution or in anti-smoking ads from the 30s and 40s. He should be sued. Not attractive at all

Taffy Kins: That's a boy child haircut! I thought you were doing a woman.

sandra brown: Awful haircut poor lady hope it grows out quickly

Susan Hinkel: Looks too masculine tone needs a softer style.

Aggeliki P.: Is there any hair left?

Bridget Drummond: Not anti age, and totally not for me.

Genevieve: The uneven close clipping at the nape is unflattering and the entire cut is too masculine for her. Just an awful haircut.

Sandy B: What did you do to that poor lady??

Patty: No thank, too much like a boy/man cut.

Rosa Rospo: Haircut not flattering at all much too short - no texture or structure. Not to my liking at all, simply awful!!

Kelly Dunn: This was awful and what no color she needed to cover up the gray

FondCello681814: it is a women or a men haircut

Gemini McIntyre: Awesome haircut.

Happy Hannah: Made her look like going bald by the part

Patsy Ingle: I would be furious with this hair cut it is awful

Patricia Aldam: Roots look terrible, spoils the look.

Norma Smith: I hate it a barber shop hair cut

Christine Handley: That looks terrible

Jehanne Marie: Omg, the woman has a skin desease in her neck , sebborehic dermitis I think

xristo arakelov: Many thanks to everyone for writing comments and liking

Paula Casillas: She’s not wearing a mask and he has his under his nose. Really?

Colleen Dismuke: That is so unattractive...why would anyone want to be older and look like !

Schade.

Linda Durand: Terrible haircut, done nothing for her other than make her continue looking old and tired, way too severe

Julie Jones: OMG What has he done. A under cut is cut not shaved off!!!!!!!! My hair dress uses scissors. What adisgrace

Lieve Simons: Old fashioned, to short

Sadie Stoltzfus: I quit watching after I saw the back.

Jennifer Lee: She needs a touch-up, but her haircut looks very nice.

Barb Christensen: Just.....why?

Theresa Kunda: Thumbs down on this one!

Liz Clarke: That woman looks distressed! Way too short at the back. Can't understand why hairdressers cut above the natural hairline at the back. Makes the head and neck look out of proportion. IMO, most hairdressers are scissors happy!! We women have to speak up and call the shots. And yes.... no mask, and his below his nose. For goodness sake?

Harriet Anguillo: Sorry to much like a mans hair cut.

Wendy La Favor: Too short!

Cindy Bear: That. is. AWFUL!! So unflattering!!

Vicki Howell: Typical old lady cut!

Annette Ellis: Too manly

Maddy Fogarty: A man haircut

Barb Miller: Very nice cut! Would have liked to see him color her roots!!

Gomba13: Oh hell no! He calls this anti-aging?! His idea of anti-aging is to cut it as short as possible! He seems not to realize that women want to feel pretty, and that means feminine. I always feel, when seeing older women with short haircuts, like they are saying "Look at me, I'm young!" And that just SCREAMS insecurity.

Dawn van deventer: Too short at the back.

Deiaine Sanders: Way to short in back.

Jeana Morgan: Poor lady

Warda Sunkar: Fine hair pixie undercut

Eliora Rod: Ugly hair cut

Barbara Allen: Most God awful hair cut.

K K: No mask ..

Linda Baldwin: Little to short for me but good haircut

Angela Walker: No me gusta...es demasiado corto

Maddy Fogarty: Omg to short in back

Jun The reign: Crazy

m4288: Dont like the back of the head.

Shelly Jay: Terrible cut. Terrible hair dye. Probably would look better to go lighter and blend the gray.

Irene Crook: No far too short i hate it!!

Northern Girl: Nope.
