Bob Haircut - Short Bob Hairstyles and Women Haircut by Radona

In this video, you will see RaDona show you how to do short hairstyles for women over 70- bob hairstyles. In this video today, we have our cute client named Anne. Anne has been one of RaDona’s clients for a very long time. Anne is such a good sport because she did not know she was going to be recorded today, but still let RaDona video her.

Anne has a very cute cut and she also has super thick hair. This video is perfect for anyone who has thick hair but also have it styled cute, fun, easy, and short. For this type of haircut you will want to stack the back of the hair. This is one of the cutest cuts that RaDona does. It really helps shape the face as well as give you a youthful look. The haircolor that Anne has is super pretty as well. She has really embraced her white hair, and this haircut really helps show off the color and compliment it as well. You are going to really want to use the point cut technique to help give some different lengths in the hair as well as help give the hair some movement. Using the point cut technique is key when cutting thick hair. This really helps give the hair movement and make it so that hair does not look “choppy”. Another key to cutting thick hair is to make sure you use a lot of texture. You will want to do that so that the hair can lift up like this hairstyle does. This will also really help give the hair a lot of movement.

To recap, in this video you will see RaDona show you how to do short hairstyles for women over 70 - bob hairstyles. This video is perfect for any age, but especially for anyone who is wanting to look younger while embracing your aging hair color. Our client Anne has super thick hair so RaDona shows you how to give a short hairstyle and cut to someone with thick hair. This haircut is super cute for someone with curly hair as well. The perfect cut for thick, curly hair.

For products used in this hairstyle, RaDona will pull out all of her tips and tricks with Monat. Monat has a wide range of products to make sure that they cater to all of your hair needs and hair types. In this case, RaDona is going to use some “magic” products to help give our client, Anne some volume and lift to her hair. To start with the styling, RaDona starts with using Monat’s Root lifter. With this, it will help lift the roots up from her clients hair to help make the roots lift and appear thicker. This way it also adds some volume to her clients thinning hair. She then uses Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse this will help condition the hair while providing a touchably soft hold. This will also help give RaDona’s client volume, body, and movement. Make sure that you only use one squirt of Monat’s Moxie Magnifying Mousse since it is super concentrated. Now, depending if your client wants to use a blow dryer, you will want to use Monat’s blow out cream. This will really protect the hair from the heat so that you do not damage your hair. After you blow dry the hair, you can just leave the hair like this. If you want to style it, you can use Monat’s clay to help move the hair to stand up and piece out. Then you will use Monat’s Rejuvenique Oil to help with any frizz.

Well, this is an and I'm really excited she had no idea she was getting videotaped today, but hurry. There is seriously the cutest and she has thick hair. So I wanted to show this cut on thick hair um. She thinks it's then, but she has a lot of hair. She was having like a ton work but yeah, so I wanted to show you guys we're going to make her neckline shorter. She just wants it short easy. So I'm gon na cut this neck going in yeah. I appreciate her letting us cut this, but it's just such a cute cut and every time she leaves, I think, oh man, we should have recorded that because it's just it literally is the cutest cut. It looks great on her okay, so I just cut that in we're just gon na trim this up little trimmers, Hey singing here and her color when we're done is absolutely gorgeous. Also okay, so I just clean this up. Now I'm going to start up here on the top and we're going to go just about an inch and a half long here, maybe two inches depending on what your age is. Everybody'S inches are different, so that's what I'm taking a modeling! I like to ask what you know what I inches to people, because some some people they're inches, are like really half inches or what I think would be half so yeah. I always like to ask okay so from here the middle of yeah about halfway down. Now I'm angling in - and I want this tight, so she doesn't have to deal with it and it's very thick yeah see she's pumped about that just so it will weigh in the place. Okay, then I'm gon na come up here. Point cut into this and her hair girls like a weed right and yes, it done so it's good to go a little shorter. She felt like she's, getting a totally new haircut when she comes back because it's grown out into a different style. So, by the time we cut it back in it feels good again cuz it's it's short. So, yes, you can feel my my fingers are at her scalp in the back just so you know how tight to take that make sure you, you fill the scalp with your fears again point cut into this. That'S that's really important with thick hair is not to cut it straight. If that makes sense, it's not just a straight straight line. You want to cut in like this, so it has some more movement and it won't look as choppy because sometimes if you cut straight straight, the hair straight you'll see those lines in the hair. Okay same thing out here, just gon na pull this out, and then I'm going to angle in and from about the middle you're going to just come. You know angle in, like I said before, point cut into that and I'd love to have her back short. Like I said so, she doesn't even have to deal with it. It'Ll just fall into place when she dries it and not have to worry. I am alright so right here by her ear, I'm gon na go take care. Okay! Now I'm gon na come this way and then I'm just going to just trim this down now she wipes it over her ear. So I'm gon na angle this part down a little bit and she doesn't like it. She doesn't like your ears totally showing. So that's why i angle it that way. Okay, same thing here come up! You there's that guy point there that you can follow and then, as soon as I'm done, cutting the length and everything else will come back and we will texturize it. That definitely will make a huge difference, especially with dick hair that will help if you texturize it and kind of thin it out it'll help it lay really nice and it also will help it, so it dries faster, especially where it's thick, which now it's going to Be shorter so that obviously takes off some time but okay and then you just take decide yeah. It was crazy. You guys it was fine this morning and then all of a sudden we got a ton of snow started snowing and it hasn't stopped. So it's actually kind of crazy, so I was kind of feeling bad because I'm like everybody that leaves with their hair done. You need an umbrella, okay, same thing here this way and then from that you angle down, and that's what I mean: cuz we're gon na keep that length around her ear: okay, okay, now the front just gon na come across just straight across this top. This will give her some height and body through this front, because this is so long up here that I feel like she feels like it's kind of hanging there do you feel like it's too long and too long, so we just need to get rid of that. So she can have some volume through this top. Okay, then her ears, you know, hold this out so from that guide point, I'm just gon na kind of come out this way and just round this yeah, let's take your glasses off we're gon na take those off. So we can thanks my dear then we're gon na hold it up this way, and we just couldn't want these really PC and I'll texture. Those too she likes it a little bit longer here on her sides, but definitely pieced out, so she doesn't feel like it's just one. It gets really when it starts to grow. Yeah, see that's a good instead of the lathe. I'M glad she said that that's the word I'm looking for it does it gets bulky, so she she doesn't want that so we'll we'll text race that really good. When I come back and then I'm just taking a little bit of link here. Okay, all right now! This side same thing: I'm gon na hold this out. You can see, see that guide point right there. That'S where I cut you Wow and your sayings are so long. You'Re, like you, don't have to tell me yeah, you could have like Kirby's and ringlets or something and it starts to go backwards when it gets long right. So that probably drives you crazy okay. So I'm just holding that hair kind of taken little tiny little chunks out of that. Okay, I'm gon na hold this out, make sure we're, even here a little bit heavy here. Okay, now so her veins, so I'm gon na hold these out gon na rest. My shares here come in this way. Now she has a little bit of curl, so you obviously don't want to take him to too short. I know she doesn't love him in her eyes, but you don't want to go too short, so just kind of cut into those a little okay and now we're going to come through here and texturize. I'M coming up about an inch and then I'm just gon na really give this some good texture. So it has a lot of movement when we dry it and then, when we dry it, you guys will see what I'm talking about it's so cute of a cut. Just really good for some thick hair and even if it's more curly you obviously can see. This is straight but like through her hair once it gets a little longer, it can curl and so right, and so anyway, that's it's a good cut for for thick curly hair. Now, just the side, you're gon na, want to make sure that they're really text and then, of course you can go back through once it's dry. If you feel like it needs more, but that's about how much I'm doing and of course, when you dry it and so the root lifter up here, because we do want this to stand up - she likes height here. So she doesn't feel like her hair's hanging. We'Re gon na put that root, lifter there and then one squirt of the mousse and we are not spraying thickening spray. Oh man, she doesn't beat okay now, okay, now through this top, she likes more height. So I just now this is a GHD Platinum, flat iron. These are great for any type of hair, but especially they care, because you need something: that's gon na have enough heat, but not over process. If that I wouldn't say process, I guess that's not the word, but overheat, your hair. This will actually go to the porosity of your hair. Coming down. You

Jennifer Lee: RaDona I think this cut is GREAT. One comment, could you scissor over comb the back at the bottom instead of cutting straight across? It would be softer and more feminine for her and still stay close to her head and you could scissor over come the sides as well to take out the bulk in her sideburns. It is a lovely style for her and you make it fun to watch. Thanks...I am a viewer from Washington, DC.

Flying Cloud: Nicely done! I am going to ask my stylist to texturize my bangs.....it looks great!

Kay Simmons: I love your videos.I like the way you texture the hair..I have my hair cut in a shag and the length is longer.I want to ask you if I could get my top and sides cut short and still have lots layers in the length.Or would it look funny or awkward?

Merle Hester: I love going from short to mid I am always wanting a change love it

Ellen Farrell: This woman has great hair.

Priscilla Gaskins: What do you suggest for the front of my hair— I am73 and the back of my hair is thick but thinner on top - my cut is similar to that- my hair has natural curl-the front grows really fast and I can never get the front short enough- this lady’s hair is still a little to long for me- the back of my hair is always fine but the front is the problem- my stylist won’t cut the front too short because of the curl-I usually com it to the side but would like to not part and wear it forward - when it starts growing I can’t do anything with it because of the curl

Sue Nichols: I love watching when you are doing your mother hair ..

Kay Simmons: The beauticians here do not know how to cut and texture the hair like you do.I would love for you to do my hair. You are awesome and I love your enthusiasm and personality.I wish I knew how to send you a picture of my hair so you could tell me how to keep my length and have layers in it.And be able to have the top and sides short.I would love to get your opinion.

Jan Pastien: Merry cristmas to you and your family love jan .

Diane Shelley: Why have women gone to such short hair for older women. I'm 71 and I have long beautiful curly hair. My friends tell me don't cut your hair. I'm letting it grow longer. I love my long hair.

Gail Remp: Dear ladies... this particular stylist is lovely and she does very nice work. But the reality here is there are tons of really good stylists wherever you live but they have to advertise their work via the people in YOUR community... I have been doing this for a long time. If I see a style that looks really excellent on a person, I stop and I say to that person, "my goodness your hair looks beautiful.". Trust me folks, they will stop and say thank you and if you ask them to elaborate some they will tell you all about the hairdresser, why they like that person, or why they don't like that person. You will find that there are many different ways of changing your hair to make it better for you. This is nothing to do with an age thing. Rather watching videos and wishing and hoping you could have this ONE person in your life right now, you will probably find a young fellow or a young lady who understands these techniques also. And they can work with you to make you look gorgeous. Then maybe later in time, you might be able to get an appointment with this young lady wherever she is, and your life will be perfect. Have a good New Year's

June Hawks: Very cute haircut. She looks like Barbara Bush
