How I Curl My Hair Using Enrapture Encode Totem Hair Styler | Jamie Johnston

Hi everyone, so today I'm going to be doing a hair tutorial. I don't think I have done a hair tutorial on my channel, yet I could be wrong by almost a hundred percent positive, I'm not so. This is very exciting. Recently, I've been curling my hair a lot normally, I just straighten it, but recently I've been loving, curling, my hair to curl my hair. I use it in rapture at torrance Taylor, which looks like this. I'M sure you've seen this a million times before, because a lot of people on YouTube use this to curl their hair, and it's just amazing, so yeah. My sister Kaitlyn got it for me for my 17th birthday, which was away back in July and when I tried it in July, the first time I just I fell in love. That'S all I have to say. I fell in love with this little hair styler right here, so it just looks like this, and it has three different heat settings, which was three two one and the higher the number you go, the more to find your curls gon na be, and one is just A simple wave three is like a tight curl, which is what I've got today, which I used three three three and two is that in-between Kona Crow and on the actual styler they've split it into three two with the settings. So if you did three two three, it would feel like three two three, so your hair would be a tight curl. Okay, then that meet Jim Carr way, and then I take curl again if that makes it so you can achieve so. Many different looks with this, which is another reason why it's so amazing, I'm not gon na kiss it, because I think it's still hot well, I recommended it to everyone. You will not regret buying it so yeah anyway, I'm gon na stop rambling and get on with the tutorial and put this one down, because I think I'm gon na burn myself so yeah just keep them watching. If you would like to see how I crowd my knees, so this is what my hair looks like. Naturally, it's just kind of like a wavy mess. Basically the first thing I do before I start curling. My hair is obviously brush it. I have not brushed it. This morning, which is kind of gross, but I haven't to brush my hair, I'm going to be using a tangle teezer and these brushes are the best brushes ever. Oh, my god, I would never go back to like a Denman brush or just any other brushes like that. I would just stick to this this. It'S amazing and if you have thick Tuggy hair like mine, then this is a brush for you, so I am just gon na work from the bottom and go up to the top. Just you know. You know my pleasure here. I don't know why. I'M like telling you how to brush your hair, you probably already know but see if I was using another brush like say a paddle brush or something I would be in pain right now. This just makes it less painful and just goes through my hair, like butter. So that's all brush and it now looks like a frizzy mess, but I'm now gon na part, my hair into the middle, just because I prefer and my part in being in the middle when it's all curly. So I'm just going to do that. I don't really part my hair at directly in the middle, it's kind of like off-center to cover up my scar, so just part in it off-center like that, because my hair is thick. I need to section my hair, but I'd recommend section in your hair anyway. So I'm just going to section my hair, okay, so a sectioned off that much here and I'm going to clip up with a butterfly clip. These clips are the best and you can get them in Sally's, Primark and just place like that. They are so handy. Then I'm just gon na split my hair into two. So I have a bet here here and a bit here. They'Re, like I said before, this Carlington has three different heat settings: one two and three and the higher the number the higher the temperature is and the more of a tighter curl you're gon na get, I quite like my hair being really Carly. So I use three three three to get a really tight, curl and throughout the day, because my hair is so heavy and thick. The Carl Taylor light drops until I got wavy kind of Carl. So that's what happens all that aside, I use three three. Three, oh and I almost forgot the most important part heat protector. This is the Tresemme keratin smooth heat protection, shades free for smoother, easier to style hair. I did a review on my blog on this, so if you would like to meet that, then I will leave it in a link down below. As I go up, my hair, I'm just gon na spray, each section with a bit of this heat protector, just to protect my hair and I'm gon na move and then just brush it through. So it's evenly distributed and I'm just gon na take an intersection worth of here. I'M gon na take a massive section, because then you take a big section. Then the heat won't evenly go onto the hair, so it will curl properly so just about if she votes that much and normally, if people were to like climb from the bottom and then rule up, I'm not gon na. Do that because I feel like my ends, will actually get frayed that way, so I just pretty not pretend but like kind of like act as if it's a wand, so I just wrap it around the barrel and I hold the clamp up and kind of wrap It round, like it's a wand and hold it like that and sorry, if you can't really see this, I'm looking at my merit over here and the wire is like in my face and I just hold it for a good amount of time, not too long, because You don't want to be that girl that, like her hair fell off so yeah and then it kind of goes like up a nice little curl. So I'm just gon na keep my clamp open again like it's down like that normally, but I'm just going to keep it open all the time and when I'm curling anyway and I'm just gon na point the top down the way and call the opposite way that I did the last one and I think this is opposite way and twisting airs and one round as well and point the curly top down way and just wait a couple seconds again here we go, I think, live in the same way. What'S the well and I'll. Just show you another section, then I will probably fast-forward this so just wrap it round and twisting it and pointing the Sailor down the way and holding it for, like six seconds, tops and there's my curls I've just done so. Yeah they're, really nice and I'm just gon na, do the rest of this. Like section, I've pulled down and just fast forward it and stuff, because this will take ages and he's showing you doing all my hair. And then I will show you when I take another section, though, if that makes sense, but yeah - and I forgot to mention I just twist the hair to give like a better effect. I don't know why it just looks better when it's twisted. So that's why I do that? Okay, so that's that section done and as you can see it's next time curly, so I'm going to take another section down and curl last section as well. So I took another section down: I'm just going to spray each side of section of my hair, but I even make sense with you protect her again and brushing it through I'm just going to do the exact same now. I'M going to take another section down again and then got equipped for sections from my ear, because it's sore that, like I did with the rest of my hair to spring and sections with heat protectant again, I'm brushing we're on to the last section. Hallelujah praise the Lord thank goodness, so I'm just gon na curl, the last section, oh and then spray it with heat protectant. Of course, I think it looks really weird because best bits, obviously not curly. I think it looks good and I'm just gon na curl. This last top section of hair, the bigger your sections, the longer you're gon na - have to hold it for and the smaller sections you probably won't, have to hold it as long as the big ones when it comes to these parts of my hair, because these bits Kind of like frame my face, I'm gon na put these away from my face because I don't want them to like be over my face like that, so I'm gon na do it away from my face, we'll just put the one like that and just Carla. So it's away from my face - and I hate my hair being in my face because I can't see because this side has more hair in it - I'm just gon na clip this section away, so I can curl it easier and just ignore my scar, please. So now I'm going to this framing bit of hair and just like this, but I'm gon na put it away from the face. Don'T know why I'm sitting there, so that's my hair, curled and if you'd like to you, could just leave your hair like this. But in my opinion I eat this. I would never wear my hair like this without dressing it out. I don't know I just I don't like it. I think it just looks too perfect and to done I, like my hair, be messy. I just like that. Messy look so how I do I save my curls is again oil. Any oil will do. I use this watch golf bc for no cure hair therapy oil miracle lake to finishing treatment. That was a mouthful, but it still looks like that and that's why i use. I just pop a bit on my hand, like probably five, between the five and ten paper piece and just rub it between my hands and then I go through each set each section. Sorry with my fingers just detangle it all and make it not that like perfect, crispy wait, it just makes it look a lot softer and just keep on going through it until I feel like it's done and if I feel like there's. Hardly any oil left on my hands. I put detainees foot on my hands again because I don't want it being too oily because in my hair look greasy and I just do the exact same, you can use a detangling comb and I do have one. But it's just easier using your fingers. That'S another cool that you don't need, okay, so that same old USA and in my opinion this looks so much better than that to done.we, and I am just whispery it all with hairspray just to make it last longer. Oh - and I forgot to mention that that hairspray is the silhouette pure formula, invisible old one from Schwarzkopf and it's the white one, and it doesn't give you too much of a hole to mix at that sticky way. It just just gives you an average hold and yeah it just doesn't make it sticky at all, and I just play about with it like make it more messy kind of scrunch it the bottoms just because, like I said, I'm really prefer my hair being messy to Being perfect because I just like to say that perfect look, so I'm just gon na leave my hair like that, and this video is now finished.
