Hi, I'm Jamie Greenberg, celebrity makeup artist and I'm here today with a special treat for you. I'M with Richard Collins, celebrity hairstylist. Who'S worked on the heads of Selena Gomez, Vanessa, Hudgens, Olivia Wilde and he's gon na show us how to get a very simple up. Dude that he did on Selena Gomez, just for you at home, hi, I'm Richard Collins and I'm the celebrity hair stylist. So basically, I put Jamie's hair in the park, which is where I want it to be at the end result I didn't put any product in it. I literally dried it from from her damp hair because I don't need it to be smooth or polished or anything, and I'm gon na go in with the curling iron and basic his method or so we're gon na start on the back. Taking some sections and I'm gon na spray a little bit of this new hairspray that I just got by surge of too much, not too crazy. We take a section like this wrapped around the curling iron you're, twisting it slightly. This is a curling iron by Hot Tools which I've used for four years. They last a long time. They get really hot good good night. I don't close the curling iron. It leaves a mark here sometimes so I actually prefer to just burn my fingers as opposed to leaving a mark in there and again you can do this from just drying your hair with your fingers. You don't need to round brush it. You don't need to fly in it, you don't need to do any of those things we're putting curls in it, because we want it to have some texture to it. We don't want it to be like a smooth bottom. We want it to be a messy bun, see we're getting a nice little bounce, the wavy messy throwing up in here. I was doing this on myself. I would just literally curl take a curling iron and curl myself. Curl, like give my hair, like bouncy texture, exactly okay, and we want to leave some little pieces out here which will put a little bend in later. This is what I did to the back of Jamie's hair with a curling iron. I left the top part of her hair, the last section I left it just natural because I don't want Matt to be too curly. I want that just to easily blend into the curls that I have made and create at the bottom. So when I pin it up it's more of a texture through the top and not as clearly as the bottom, this is Ana wind tour. She was pretty pink lipstick on. I wonder what color she's bearing Anna. Do you hear me that's a little bit of hairspray in the hair and then you go. I go down to just below the bottom of the ear. I do that the row of bobby pins across the back of Jamie's head to secure a base for putting the hair up and then three sections middle and either side you just twist with your fingers. Then you place a bobby pin in until you think it looks. You know it looks pretty not too tight, not too loose, and then you do that across the back of the head. If there are any pieces hanging out, you just take another pin and you get rid of them or you can just kind of like mesh them with your fingers and just make them look light and airy. So now I'm having with the back I'm going to clean up the edges and put a little bit of a wave in the front of Jamie's hair, leaving the end part out because we don't want it to be like a crow or way down. So this is the finished, look inspired by Selena Gomez. I think it's perfect for spring and summer. It'S easy to do so. I just want to thank Dickie. Thank you so much for creating a look that he did on Selena Gomez on my head. I think it's easy, I think it's fun. I love the technique used with the bobby pins and I feel like you should go, find someone to do this on or try doing it on yourself.
