After growing out my hair for a year, i'm finally gon na get a haircut, and i know a lot of people ask about my hair, how i grew it out what i asked for so today, i'm just gon na be getting a haircut with you guys and You'Ll see the whole process of what i ask for and how i get it cut, and hopefully i do not go through identity crisis and they cut my hair wrong or they give me a mull again like last time last year, actually because long story short, i Had asked for a wolf cut or shag or whatever you'd like to call it, and they gave me a mullet so all those years of waiting to grow up my hair, i had to wait another whole semester to finally get my hair to you know the length It is now my hair's really long as you can see from the video there. I do need to get to the top fixed, i'm going to be getting it layered, i'm also going to get it textured and the back i'm going to cut it a bit too. As well, but i'm overall going to keep the length of the back here, because i really like how long it is so if you're from la, then you probably know where i'm going i'm going to the row out in the arts district and i'm going to nova Arts salon, which is close to the place that i originally went to when i got my hair cut botched and i'll, never go back there again and if you're wondering where i got that haircut from it was from lawn, don't trust any of them. I got invited to model out for luke vicious and during this photo shoot it was kind of like for me. It'S the last time i'll see like my long hair photographed since i'm getting my hair cut today it was a really fun time to get like pictures taken. It was a four hour process, it was really cool and i hope all the pictures came out great. I hope they didn't do me dirty whatsoever, but anyway, let's just get this process going and let's just go, get my hair cut all right, so i'm, finally here and i'm going to get a haircut, i'm just waiting because we're a little bit early put some stuff On grab got ta, get it back, quick, quick, quick. Can i do shorter layers in here? Yeah like i want yeah i do i do want to get. I do want to get the top layered and textured and then probably the same with the back, because i think it's like one blob yeah yeah. Do you want to show your collection yeah so like? Actually, i can know yeah so, like obviously the back's a lot shorter, but i want to keep. I want to keep the because my hair does this like, naturally so right now, i'm layering i'm gon na layer first and we're cutting dry because we're gon na wash it and diffuse. So we can see where everything is glazed, naturally, because you're not gon na stop. You'Re just going to let your hair do the thing no yeah um, then so after i put these layers in um i'll take out weight as well just so we can enhance his weave and it's not super heavy and squashing, i'm doing 90 degree layers right now. I'M going to do that all around your head. Would you say: that's like the main thing that you should probably ask somebody. Do you want that? Okay, yeah, i mean some stylists might not know that terminology, but if you look at that photo like the layers are everywhere right, so they're they're, coming like straight off the scalp yeah 90 degrees is a very like nice style of cutting, because it gives a lot Of volume yeah cause it just layers on top of layers, i guess um 90 degrees, you i'm trying to think of other like terminology for that, but 90 degrees. Most stylists will understand where you're trying to go right. Huh yeah just do just do 3. 16.. Did i listen to k-pop? No, my hair is wet again just got out of the shower use your vintage wolf tee. You know, like i said that scrunching motion you want to get that scrunching motion, so i'm going to grab my reverie we're gon na just grab the reverie really quick. I'M gon na do like two three pumps. Since my hair is like you know not so long anymore, i'm gon na emulsify my hands just scrunch it all in my hair, then i'm going to use for texture, since my hair is a lot shorter and i think i'm cool with using it now, i'm going To be using this always sea salt spray, it's like one of my favorites i've had this for a year and i'm not even like halfway done yet so definitely was worth the price. So i'm just gon na spray, like one two like three pumps in my hand, and the reason i do that is so that i can actually have. I have more control over where it goes versus just spraying it on my head in one area and again going back with that scrunching motion all throughout my hair to get that texture and also just the volume that i'm looking for all i'm pretty much gon na. Do is find my middle part, which is like right here once again, just using my fingers to kind of comb out my hair and then i'm gon na start pinching the hair back kind of how i have done in the past when i've mentioned what i do With my hair, when it was longer you're just going to do that, give it a few scrunches back here and just finger comb everything to where you need to. So i guess, let's check out my hair when it's done well. This is my hair. It looks cool. I i really like this: it's a really interesting kind of like style. I don't really have my hair kind of go back like this. I guess normally - or maybe i do it's not my typical style that most people like know me for i'm just i'm very happy how my hair came out, because i would have had an identity crisis if they had cut my hair wrong, and i would have cried About it, but it looks super good. I'M super happy with my hair and they did such a great job with cutting my hair and really amazing work phenomenal. Not only is it phenomenal, but it just makes sense with like what she recommended for my hair in general. Like where to cut it, how she cut it very skilled - and i learned a few new things about hair, just a bit a tad, and you know from now on since i'm moving. I probably can't go and get her anymore, but i will link her down below in the description. If you are from l.a and you plan on maybe trying to look for a haircut, i recommend her because she did style my hair. She did cut it. She is the stylist who cut my hair and, if you're, trying to maybe get something like this or listen to the advice that she might give you that might you know, lead you into your journey of growing it out and stuff go visit. Her go make an appointment. I recommend it really great work phenomenal. I haven't had a great haircut in a while. This is by far the greatest, and i'm really really happy with how i look your hair. Is your personality be judged for yourself? You know.
