How To Make Natural Hair Styling Gel From Scratch, Diy Homemade Aloe Vera Gel & Store It / G G & You

Hi everyone welcome back so today i'm going to be teaching you how you can make your own natural hair gel, and this gel is exactly like the ones that you buy in the store. So this is a commercial hair gel. So you can just make this at home and save yourself huge box, and the good thing about this is, if you want to turn this into a business is very simple: just put your label on this, and then you can start selling and start making your huge Cash, so this is very, very, very simple: to do at home all right, so, let's get started with how we made it now. The first thing is: get your aloe vera leaf okay, so this is how our aloe vera gels the one in the market. This is how it's been made: get your aloe vera leaf. You can get as much as you want. Okay, then you remove the tip and then remove the tail. Okay, so remove the tip because of that yellowish uh substance that comes out that stuff causes irritation. So, that's why i have to remove the tip, that's the part close to the head, and then you use your knife and slice it open. Once you slice it open. You use your spoon to scoop it out and then use your cheesecloth or whatever you have to um strain it okay. So that's the first step, if you don't have aloe vera gel sorry, if that aloe vera leaf, you can skip this and then continue with the next part, or you can also add your own stuff to it. Since you are the one making it, you can add. Um any juice of your kind of your choice, all right, so you can use this method to make your cucumber gel orange gel watermelon, gel whatever it is. I want to make you can use this particular method to make it is 100 effective, all right so get whatever ingredients you want to get, whether aloe vera or orange, or apple or strawberry, or whatever it is, i'm just showing how you can make your gel, and It'S going to be like the commercial stores, and this gel can last you for two years very, very well, okay, so this is um just like the ones on the counter, like i said you can start selling this if you want so after straining the juice of Whatever you're, using i'm using aloe vera in my own case, so after straining the juice, then you're going to add your water. So for me i added 200 ml of water and then later on added close to um 50 mils of water. So i just added my water now, like i said, if you don't have any of this, you can just add your water. Okay, just add your water, it's still going to form it. So that's just the basic thing: get your juice! Get your water get your liquid! Now, what you're going to be adding? This is what is going to make it look like the gel in the market. So this is the first ingredient. We are going to be adding two ingredients before we start adding the other things, and these two things are the main components of your um of your gel. That'S why you buying market all right, so i'm using carboma in this case or carbopol cabo, ma cabo po. Anyone that's the name all right and i'm using seven grams of my carbohydrate now you're going to add this a little bit stir it. It takes some time to actually dissolve, stir it and then um, add and that's underset and stir it. Okay, don't just pour everything inside direct, add a little bit stir it add a little bit and um stir it. So you can also use xanthan gum. You can use silly gel, you can use, you can use other thickness. I have not used them, so i can't tell you how you can use them, but i think sun and xanthegum. You deserve it in glycerin. First, before you add your water, i think so, but i haven't used it. So i can't really say, but this one is water soluble. So, as is dissolving in the water, is making your solution thick now, xanthan gum is um, ph um friendly, but this one is acidic and then you need to bring it down to the ph of the hair around 4.4 to 4 and 5.5. So you have to bring it down and then, when you neutralize it, then we start getting our gel, so you can use custard soda for this. You can use uh cea for this all right, try, eternal amine. You can use um these. These are neutralizers. These are bases remember. I said this is acidic, so these bases are going to neutralize it, and then you can get your job. If you just add only this is not going to form that gel that i saw at first. So this is what is going to make it thick and then your neutralizer will now give it that gelling effect. You are going to see it. When i add my neutralizer, what is going to happen immediately? It'S not going to waste time, okay. So this is how you make your um gel, and this one is 100 effective. It can last on your hair for um two days or depending on the amount of head i applied it on. If you just applied it to the edges, then just a little bit goes a long way, a very long way. Now i'm going to be using caustic soda as my neutralizer, we all know that causing soda is um, sodium hydroxide and that's a base. So that's what i'm going to be using for this and if you're using sodium hydroxide um, you should be very careful because of the fumes coming out so make sure you're doing it in a properly ventilated place. I didn't use tea, so i can't say about that. But that's also another neutralizer on its own, because it's also a base, so you just get um a little bit of sodium hydroxide. As you can see, it's thickening already is thickening already. So sorry, you have to start working very fast at this moment because um, my rubber spoon, had to even change it at some point because it was too thick to stir it. Okay, so that's what i meant by is acidic. It needs a neutralizer, a base to bring it down to the ph whereby it can form that gel. So i'm going to add a little bit of water and then i'll add more of the caustic soda. So for the crust soda, i just used um a teaspoon, a teaspoon and dissolved it in some water. All right. I love it in some water. So uh you add the custard soda stir. It add, and that says sterility get the consistency that you want. So the custard sodas, what is going to give you that consistency, if you just leave it like this, it's going to be like clumps like this lumps. But then, when you add the cutting soda, it's going to give you that consistency like the ones in this store, like the aloe vera, gel that you buy the echo gel the normal one in the market that one that has no name all right. So if you want, you can add your color at the end of the day, you can add your green color. If you want it to be aloe vera gel color, if you're using orange um juice, you can add your orange color, you can add whatever it is. So color is optional. I didn't have the green color as that when i was making this video, so i didn't add the green color, so that's just basically it and then you step, you stir it and stir it keep on stirring to get your consistency. Okay. So for the carbohydrate it takes some time to dissolve for me. I just added it steady for some time and then i left it to dissolve so some people would like you have to stir it. If you keep on stirring it, you can stay for close to 15 minutes. 30 minutes does. But if you're using a mixer or blender, then you can um lessen the time, but if it isn't hand like the way i use, then it's going to take a lot of time. So stir your carbohyma and leave it for some time and it's going to dissolve on your spoon it's going to mix with the water on its own okay. So, as you can see, i added my cotton soda gradually gradually gradually, and this is the consistency i actually like this consistency, so i will now start adding the other ingredients. So these other ingredients. They are optional. All right, i'm adding my tea tree, tea, trees, um, anta. Fungi is very, very good when it comes to treating um itchiness and it helps in hair growth. So you can use any um oil of other choice. You have so many oils that you can use for the hair we have so many like, so so many we have olive. We have if i ever use aloe vera oil, that one is up to you. You just use any oil that you want, then the next. I'M going to be adding is glycerin. Glycerin, as we know, is a humid tank. It'S going to attract moisture to your hair, so um, why apply this onto your hair is going to keep your hair hydrated throughout the period, unlike these ones that will buy in the market that even dry out ahead. This one is different and that's a good thing about making to yourself. You are in control of everything that goes into it. Okay, so glycerin, you can add honey, just a little bit of honey, not too much just half teaspoon is even enough. Okay, so, and if you have problem with um you're sensitive to fragrances um, you can skip this okay, so i'm adding my fragrance to give it my own signature scent so that um, it's going to be appealing to me, even when i apply it onto my hair. So, for the fragrance you just add a bottle cap, just a little bit goes a long way all right - and this, like i said, is something that you can just put your label on top of it start selling it. Now it's going to be viscous here and after some time it's going to become that clear, gel that is sold in the market. Okay. So it's because of the stirring and stirring! That'S why it's like that. But after some time it's going to come down now. The last thing we're going to be adding is our preservative. So if you want this to last long, you have to add your preservative. It'S a must. Okay, there's no way you make this large batch and then you use it up in seven days in one month. Is not possible, so you need to get your preservative and add. Just a little bit is enough. Uh a bottle cap is enough. Okay or you can go with 0.5 grams if you are looking for measurement, but if you don't have measure and measurement exam, um skill, you can use a bottle cap and for those of you that don't have skill, let me give you some guidelines on how you Can do this for the carboma you get that zero bar spoon you get like um, six to seven teaspoons of that. That'S more of a spoon six to seven teaspoons of that and then add it to your water. You can use um this 50cm water as your measurement all right, so 50c is 500 ml, and half of this is 250, ms, so that's um your water and then um. What knows what nest for the coastal soda, like i said just a teaspoon of that, is enough and then add some water to dissolve it all right. I think that's just the measurements aloe vera gel that aloe vera leaf as much as you want that one does not have any measurement all right. So that's, basically how you make your um, your hair, gel natural and awesome hair chill. So if you want, you can um, extend this and add the combination of oils, like we have olive oil and the rest of the oils.
