You know i've been using this hairdryer from tresemme for years now and it's fine. It does the job, but there's so many things wrong with it and i've been meaning to upgrade it for years, which is why i'm glad that mutus decided to sponsor this video? Hey guys, my name is george welcome back to my channel. If you want both a tech review and a hair styling tutorial, then stick around and watch this video. Like i just said this, video is sponsored by motus. They were kind enough to send me this uh hairdryer, which, to be honest with you, i've been wanting a new hairdryer like this for ages, and you know what like ever since the dyson released a couple years ago, or whatever i've been really wanting a hairdryer like That kind of style, because i feel like my hair health, is so important and i always try to style it and make it look good. I use hair dryers fairly regularly and this hair dryer just wasn't giving me that perfect salon experience when drying my hair. It'S fine, it does the job, but i think it was time for an upgrade. So let's unbox this thing, because i haven't actually seen what it looks like yet i don't even know if it's what it looks like on the box. It'S got this little green sticker and on their website, which, by the way, is right here for reference um. It comes in two colors. I think it comes in like black and then green. So i'm not really sure so. This hair dryer is actually called the m12x pro supersonic, leafless hairdryer, it sounds hella futuristic and my first impressions are the box is pretty damn high quality. It kind of reminds me of like apple, you know when you buy like an iphone. It'S got like that. Sliding sliding mechanism - that's always really tight, but you know your product's been well packed and safe. Oh yeah definitely well packaged all right. So what we got? Okay, so straight away, you got the user manual cool. I probably won't need that, although, although it does actually present it in quite a nice way, as you can see, full of pictures and stuff we've got carrying bag, which i'll tell you what every time i go on holiday with this thing, putting it in a bag. It just kind of floats around and takes up loads of space. It'S not bad to have this thing. At least i have somewhere to put it it's nice quality as well feels nice to touch, and then we've got the actual hairdryer i'm excited. So i actually got the uh the kind of space gray kind of color, which looks really nice: okay, first impressions kind of nice. You know, oh, i like the ergonomic kind of design and how light it is compared to this thing, they're about the same weight. But this one's like a lot smaller feels higher quality too much as i live in the uk, i'm gon na have to find an adapter for that one, but that's fine no big deal. It reminds me of my sony 1000xm3s for any of you. Tech nerds out there with the whole, like rose - copper, chrome, finishing that it has. It'S really nice. So for you guys that don't know this hairdryer actually blows out. Negative ions is what they call it, which is something that this doesn't do. Supposedly these negative ion blow dryers such as this one or the dyson help reduce frizz and they also dry your hair quicker generally, i thought they're just better for your hair health, which is great, especially when you have longer hair. Like me, i believe this has three heat settings and three speed settings. What i do like to see is a really long cord. I think it's like 2.7 meters. It has a filter which you're meant to like clean, but i don't actually know how to take it off. So apparently i do need the user manual. Okay, it just pops out. I was a bit confused there, so i couldn't figure it out, but i really love how it actually looks to be honest with you. It'S just got a hole in the middle which looks really weird. It'S like some futuristic gun or something i don't know like at the end of the day. I don't really understand how it actually works, but if it works, it works and i'll be testing this out and seeing exactly what it does. It comes with three different nozzles. It comes with a smoothing nozzle, which pretty much does what it says: it smooths your hair, it's pretty good for like actually drying your hair. It comes with a styling nozzle, which yet again is pretty obviously for styling um, it's a bit wider and it comes with a diffuser nozzle. This is more for, like curly and wavy, hair kind of reduces frizz and just helps with curls and waves. Let'S see how they actually connect, so i'm guessing it's a magnet, yeah, pretty easy. Oh, it's got a nice nice little hole to it as well. It'S so satisfying can't! I probably just do this just because i feel like it. It'S quite yeah. I like that, all right, so i guess it's time to go test this thing out. I'M gon na give you guys a little blow drying tutorial and a little review and um. I need to find an adapter, because i think it's going to fit all right. So, marshall, oh, so only now uh this, oh oh yep! So that's it guys! My hair is looking so light and fluffy and just like right, my camera is going crazy. Can you please focus so yeah? That'S it guys. My hair is looking all light and fluffy and just kind of like i've never had it feel like this. Before i don't know, i feel like, even though my technique still needs a lot of work, i feel like i've been able to achieve kind of like a very wearable look with my long hair, and it's just it gives me hope for the future, because i feel, Like the more practice i get with this, the better it's gon na look. So what are my thoughts on this thing? I think this thing is awesome. I can't lie for starters. Can we appreciate how quiet this thing is for a hairdryer like? Obviously, you can still hear it, but, like listen like that's really impressive, for a hair dryer are you joking? The hairdryer did a lot. It did a lot i feel like this would have been impossible to do. If i just like air dried it maneuvering. This thing around my head is awesome. I feel like it really did help with the frizz, because when i use those kind of brushes on my hair normally i do get a bit of frizz. I know my technique is far from perfect. I'M not a professional, but this thing really did help me maintain that frizz to a minimum you know and like oh man, i just really enjoyed using it. I feel, like i'm quite excited, to use it again for my next hairstyles. I feel like i've got a little bit more room to adventure out with my longer hair, because that's the thing guys when you have short hair, you don't need to worry about drying as much. But when you have medium to longer, hair drying is like the whole styling process. You don't really need to worry too much about like post styling products. They do matter but they're less important. The drying is the whole styling process and you can really achieve some cool stuff with a sick hairdryer like this so yeah. I think that's my review. This gets a big old thumbs up from me. I am in the process of growing my hair long for the first time at 47..I always had the "jack dempsey " haircut and I always said at some point I will grow it. seeing this makes me wonder if I should go back dempsey style because I won't have the time to section it and dry it like that.
