Hey guys, so I know that I say I'm super excited to show you something in many of my videos guys. I can barely contain my excitement, but today my excitement is literally through the roof. In case you couldn't tell so, I've been working on this hack video for a while now doing what I do best playing around with my hair and trying to figure out little shortcuts and hacks to help. You guys create some of your favorite hairstyles because, let's be real, there is nothing more frustrating than trying to recreate a hairstyle that you saw on Instagram or Pinterest and failing miserably failing. I know I've been there many many times before, but I hope to put that to an end for you guys. So I got to work and came up with some genius hacks to recreate some of my favorite hairstyles, and I even came up with some hacks two hairstyles, I didn't even know could be hacked guys. I'M like shaking, I believe, those are called the caffeine jitters, Nikki seriously if your jaw doesn't drop once or twice in this video. You are bananas. That is all so that further adue and in no particular order here are my genius hairstyling hacks, that I think every girl needs to know. Let'S do this, okay, so this first hairstyling hack is like the easiest milkmaid braid ever and it doesn't involve any braiding whatsoever. So all I'm doing is separating my hair into two sections vertically down the back and then taking these two sections and tying them into a knot. Then I'm taking these strands, twisting them and draping them over the top of my head and pinning them down in place with a bunch of bobby pins. So not only did this milkmaid braid take me less than a minute to create it disguised. My hair extensions perfectly in the back, and it looks amazing from every single angle. So this is an amazing little hairstyling hack, if you guys are trying to recreate the stacked braid look so instead of going the tedious route and creating two separate braids and then just pinning the top braid down to the bottom. Braid here is a faster and more efficient option, so separate you're working sections into three sections, just like you were to braid a regular three strand braid and then create an opening in one of the side sections and pull the middle section through that opening. So now do the same thing with the other side section create an opening in that side section and pulled middle section through that opening. So you want to keep repeating the same steps again and again, as you get to the bottom of the braid and to make the braid looked stacked. What you want to do is make sure that when you create the opening that the section in the front is smaller than the section in the back, this trick is going to create a smaller braid in the front any larger braid in the back and to exaggerate The size difference of the large braids in the back and the small braids in the front. What I like to do after I tie off the braids, is to pull apart only the back braid so that it looks a lot more noticeable. This will make it look like a true stacked, braid and best of all, you don't have to braid two braids or attach them together with a bunch of bobby pins. Okay. So this hair styling hack, is probably my favorite and I'm telling you guys is going to blow your mind so with just one extra step, you can transform a regular fishtail braid into a beautiful 3d braid. So to do that, basically, every time you take a small strand from the outside of the section that you're working with and you cross it over that strand and combine it with the opposite strand, you want to take another small strand from that same section cross it Over the back of that section and combine it with the opposite strand, so essentially you are taking a small strand from the front and a small strand from the back of that section. You are working with crossing it over or under and combining it with the opposite section. Okay, so here is an example. Hopefully this will explain it a little bit better. So let's say I'm working with the section on the right: I'm going to take a small section from the outside of the right section, cross it over the right section and combine it with the left section. Then I'm going to take a small strand again also from the right section. Take it around the back of the right section and combine it with the left section. So I'm going to do the same thing with the left section. So if I'm working with the left section, I'm going to take a small strand from the outside of the left section cross it over the left section and combine it with the right section. And then I'm going to take another strand from the outside of the left. Section cross it behind the left section and combine it with the right section. So, for every time you cross a small strand of hair over a section you're going to take a small strand and cross it behind that same section. If that makes any sense, so hopefully by looking at what I'm Jayne, you guys will get it. I promise you with a little bit of practice. You guys are going to get a Down pact, it's so easy and looks absolutely amazing. Any day in spring, you gave me a flower, an array, so this is what the finished braid looks like from all sides. Is this not insane if you marry alright, so this one is an oldie, but it's such a goodie, because it's such a useful tip for those of you who have problems braiding or just maybe or don't have the time to do so. It is a full braid using only hair elastics, so what I'm doing is gathering all my hair around my crown area while leaving to face trimming pieces in the front of my face and then I'm tying this hair in the back with a small hair elastic. Next, what I'm doing is loosening up the section creating an opening above the small hair elastic and then I'm taking the ponytail pulling it through the opening through the front and out of the back. This is going to create this beautiful twisted effect and then I'm going in with my fingers and pulling out these sections of the twist just to fluff it out. Next, I'm going in and gathering some hair on either side of my face right underneath the first twist and I'm tying this hair, together with a small hair elastic after I've done that and taking the ponytail into a sing it over and under the hair elastic to Create another twist and again, I'm going with my fingers and pulling out the sides of the twist pulling out and fluffing out the twist like this will help disguise the hair elastic. So your hairstyle looks like a beautiful, seamless braid. So, basically, I'm going to continue repeating these steps as far down as I can, or as far down as I want, and then when you reach your desired end point that is it my okay, so this next hack is very similar to the previous hack. I showed you in the sense that it is a full braid, so if you guys are not good at braiding or you just feel like creating something that looks like a braid but doesn't really involve any braiding, this is perfect for you. So what I like to do is gather all of my hair to one side, because I find creating this hairstyle on the side is much easier to do so. What I'm doing first is gathering all my hair around my crown area and pulling it to that side. That I'm working on and tying it off with a small hair elastic, then I'm creating an opening above the hair elastic in taking this ponytail through the opening through the front and out through the bottom. Then, in picking up a section of hair from either side of this ponytail and I'm combining it with the existing ponytail and tying another hair elastic around all of this hair about a couple inches below the first hair elastic after I've done that I'm creating an opening. In the section that I created and pulling the ponytail through the opening through the front and out of the back and now I'm just repeating the exact same steps again and again so again and picking up a section of hair from either side of the ponytail. Combining it with the ponytail tying it together with a small hair, elastic a couple inches below the last elastic and I'm creating an opening in the section and pulling the ponytail through the opening through the front and out the back. So I'm going to repeat these steps as many times as I can. Until I get to the very bottom of the braid notice that I'm not pulling apart this braid, I want to make sure that all of the twists remain as tight as possible and in a second I'll show you. Why alright, so now that I have my braid, what I'm gon na do is take a pair of scissors and start cutting the elastics that are holding the twists together, except for the very last elastic that is holding the entire braid together. So what this is going to do is allow the twists to blend in together and create this beautiful, luscious fluffy braid. So now you have a beautiful intricate braid. That looks like you put a lot of time: braiding it when you really didn't braid anything at all. That'S pretty amazing. This hairstyling hack is so insanely easy, but it's going to make you look like a professional hairstylist. I'M not kidding you guys. So if any of you guys have problems with updos, you can say buh-bye to those problems, because I have found the solution for you. So to begin. You want to take all of your hair to one side and tie it off with a good, strong, hair elastic into a ponytail. Then we're going to separate this ponytail into three sections so take one section and then separate it into another. Two sections and braid a rope braid so to braid this rope braid. Basically, what I'm doing is taking these two sections and twisting both sections towards my face and then wrapping the sections around each other away from my face, and I'm just repeating this step all the way down the length of the hair. When I get to the bottom of the braid, I'm not even tying off the end of the braid, with a small hair elastic, I'm just going in with my fingers and pulling out sections of the braid, because this will make the hairstyle look even more intricate. So after I finish braiding and pulling apart, the braid, all I'm doing is wrapping the braid around itself at the base of the ponytail and I'm pinning it in place with bobby pins. So once the first braid is secured and picking up a second section of hair from the ponytail and braiding another rope braid. So again, I'm twisting the individual strands towards my face and wrapping the strands around each other away from my face, and I'm doing this until it gets to the very bottom of the hair length when I get to the bottom, I'm not tying off the end of The braid, with a hair elastic I'm just going in with my fingers and pulling out sections of the rope braid once I've done, that I'm just wrapping the braid around itself at the base of the ponytail and pinning it down in place with bobby pins once the Second braid is secure and picking up the last section, braiding another rope, braid and repeating the same steps as before. The only difference with this braid is that, after I finish it, I'm taking it around both of the braids that I secured before to make sure that everything is secure together and everything looks very cohesive and after I positioned this third braid, I'm just taking a bunch Of bobby pins and pinning it in place so that everything is secure. Okay, guys be honest. Does this not look like a red-carpet hairstyle to you, yes, okay and on to the last hairstyling hack and, in my opinion, one of the best ones ever so this next hair styling hack, is all about hacking beehive on and not only does this hack not require Any fancy schmancy fillers, such as mesh bands or sock buns. It will make your bond look like a million bucks okay. So here's what you do basically gather all of your hair into a high ponytail and tie it together with a good, strong, hair elastic after you've done that you want to take your ponytail and fan it over your hair elastic. Take another good, strong, hair elastic and tie it over the fanned portion of the ponytail and at the base of the first ponytail after you've done that you just want to pull out sections from the fan portion using your fingers. You can make this as big or as small as you want, and then, with all of the remaining loose hair. You basically just want to wrap it around the base of the ponytail to cover up the hair, elastic and pin it in place with bobby pins. So once the loose hair is secured around the base of the ponytail, what you want to do is push down your bun and pin down the bottom of the bond to the top of your head with a bunch of bobby pins. So just go around your bonds. Section by section and pin down the underside of the bond to the top of your head, and once you get the look that you're going for you are done. Oh, how insane is this hack? If this didn't blow your mind, like I said in the beginning, you must be bananas. I do, however, want to give you my deepest apologies for cutting off the top half of this hairstyle. I didn't realize that I wasn't fitting in the entire frame. So I'm truly sorry, but thank goodness for this clip of me taking selfies, you can see the entire bun until someone decided to interrupt my selfie sesh. I wasn't very happy about that.
