Hello, my name is Danielle Valiente, I'm the owner here at atmosphere salon and today, I'm going to share with you how to gel your hair for men after you have cleansed and conditioned the hair. It'S a nice idea to take a firm, hold natural shine gel to your hair, we're going to use about between nickel and dime sized amount, really emulsify it into the palms of your hands. That'S a really important tip because you want to make sure that the product evenly distributes throughout the hair I like to start working from the back with the product so bringing it into the back first and then putting it through the front. What I find happens is that a lot of times the product goes right on top of the hair, and then it really doesn't get distributed evenly everywhere. So this is always a great idea to share is to start in the back work that product through make sure you're working it evenly throughout. All of the hair I like to recommend combing it through if necessary, and he has a lot of hair. So I'm going to add a little bit more and just working a little more product through using your fingers and then before you mold the hair into place. You can comb the product through to make sure that you've distributed it evenly throughout now, once you've gelled your hair, you have so many options with it. As far as how you want to style it, you can blow-dry it. You can do more of a slicked look where all of it is combed directly back and away from the face. I like to take the natural parting and separate it away, combing it away from the face also, but just giving it like a distinct part that you can then push forward to give a little bit of a lift and just using your fingers to lift that hair Up a little bit so there you have it: how to gel your hair for men.

schulleee: i have really thick long hair and trubles getting the gel everywhere. i also have the experience that, after tha hair dryed the hairstreaks that didn´t get gel, get kinda fizzy and point apart which makes me having a great "out of bed style". any suggestion how to deal with that insteat of using a tone of hairspray to finish?
