I didn't anything about it post anything about it and not a single beauty. Editor in the country has been able to do that either until James Dyson launched it tonight live in New York. This. This is what he calls the air rap. This is just the box that it comes in taking you over here and completely new. This uses air to curl your hair, but it's not just to curl your hair, even though mine is - and they did tonight this in our totally limited quantities, is actually your new Dyson hair dryer that can use these two barrels to air curl. Your hair, these two brushes a round and a paddle to smooth volumize and dry, your hair, and this right there, that's, probably the very first attachment you're going to use as soon as you have air, dried and towel dried, your hair out of the shower. This is what's going to allow you to do a rough dry of your hair before you start using the styling attachments. This is on an EZ pay. No other retailer has. This is shipping to you for free in the very small quantities that we have to launch right now, since an only went live on Dyson's website two hours ago and just to be clear. This is not only just uneasy pay, because we know it's a little money. It is so cool and state of the art we now have taken it up. One more notch. You have the holiday return policy up until the last day of January 2019, and now six easy payments just became twelve. If you have the QVC credit card, just use it to make your purchase, pay your payments each month and full as they are required. You'Ll never pay any interest, you'll never pay any financing, and I just want to say I find this so incredibly thrilling. We have a whole lineup of guests and models tonight in a one-hour show. Debbie is the first hi Debbie for growing first, someone said to me: listen forget the curling iron forget flat irons, yet anything that has super overheated metal touching your hair, which then will fry it. Forget it James and yet again has overhauled it when they said he was going to use air. I was like there's no way and then he did, and here we are, can you show how it works? Absolutely. This is awesome because all that clutter that you have in your bathroom the flat iron, the curling iron, the hot rollers - you don't need that anymore. This does it all it does it faster because you can see you're gon na style, while your hair is damp and it's safer because it has our intelligent heat control, so you don't ever have to worry about it getting too hot. This is the pre styling dryer. So I'm gon na use this first just quickly just to take the bulk of the moisture out, and I really got it mostly ready before I even came out here, but that's the first step. Then you're gon na pop on your curling barrel, which, by the way you get two of them, we will explain why that is but believe it or not. This will wrap your hair using air watch this so watch this. We are going to turn it on its gon na grab the air around the barrel, and then all I have to do is use my hand in towards my head and I'm holding it there now and it's actually drying my hair and once I feel that the Hair is dry, I'm just going to push the cool shot button because hair sucks to a cold temperature, so it's gon na lock in that style voila. I now have I'm so grateful Jesus for the one hour. We have to explain this because, if you're watching it might be hard to digest, what's going on, he reinvented James Dyson, the curling iron, in order to use air to curl your hair. But if, like me, you're the girl thinking, I don't always just want to curl. My hair, why would I spend this much money for a curling iron? It'S not it's also a hair dryer, so everything we're gon na show you tonight in this one hour, you're not doing to dried hair, there's no drying your hair step before you use this. This is the tool to dry your hair and style, your hair in one, I'm saving you gobs of time and extra steps, and by throwing those curls are sick, and that is the result of error. Yes, this is so easy to use it's our digital v9 motor. So the powerful air flow combined with what's called the Kawana effect, which will explain a little bit later, but it's actually an aerodynamic term. That means the hair. It actually attract the hair, it attaches it wraps it around, and then all I have to do is pull my hand closer to my head and it's drying it it's dry, literally wallets and then at the end, all I'm gon na do is cool shot it after It dries and then release and you're left with a nice curl. Now, obviously, for the purposes of the show and TV, we are not giving it nearly enough time to dry but you're getting the idea here. 200 have now been ordered. You don't just have six easy payments. You have 12. If you use your QVC credit card, you have up to the last day of January 2019 to return it, but I am Telling You this is one of the best-kept secrets until two hours ago, that probably anyone at retail and in the beauty industry, editorially speaking, has Ever had this curls smooth volumizes with the paddle brush, it can straighten, but it uses air that never exceeds temperatures of over 302 degrees. There is no heated metal plate or barrel, so it can never fry your hair again. It uses air alright. So the best thing we're gon na do now is have you miss Debbie, explain the very scientific defect that Dyson has trademarked to use air to style, your hair? Yes, so this is the it uses the Kawana effect. So our engineers studied over a thousand miles of hair. They created 642 prototypes. This is six years in the making, and this airflow is so powerful. It actually attracts the hair to the barrel. It holds the hair on the barrel, while it's curling it and while the hair is drying and then that's what really allows the curl to set there's a look of volume throughout the curl, and it leaves you with that beautifully finished curl without ever using heat. Because what happens is what we find it with most styling tools. Is they exceed 320 degrees? This never goes above 302 degrees. Never so it's always protecting your hair from heat damage. So again, a reminder. This launched two hours ago live in New York City with James Dyson, having a live press conference for the entire country and all the beauty editors. It is now live on their website, but they don't offer easy pay. That'S a bummer because it's not cheap. We do, and so that's cool yeah yeah, yes, plus it's not just six easy payments. It'S twelve! If you use your QVC credit card, free shipping and handling, and then I'm gon na predict since editorially speaking journalistically speaking. No magazines could write about this until it launched two hours ago. You will now start to see in magazines write about this in the next thirty days and it will become one of the top five beauty gifts for holiday, gifting, 2018, and what you're gon na get here at QVC is the box within which you will store it And the tool which does more than just curl it here is a hairdryer. These are the attachments. These two are the most fun and innovative and trademarked, because this is a curling iron. It uses air to curl, the hair it doesn't have metal plates. So, there's nothing to overheat and burn the hair. What if you don't want a curly style one days on the end, the bookmarks a round brush and a paddle? The attachment on this then turned it into a hair dryer from damp hair that now blow dries volumizes and smooths hair, and then we call this kind of the rough shot attachment. It may very well be the first step that you use just to go from sopping, wet hair to the damp enough hair that allows you to style your hair. Now here's the thing we call this collection volume and shape. It'S probably the one that most people are going to want order, because it's for most all hair types, hair, thicknesses and hair lengths. However, if you have extremely thick hair and long thick hair, you may instead want to ask for the smooth and control offer that, as you can see, is on your screen. The

Alayna: Everyone is hating on this but..... idk... this looks awesome! $500 is a splurge but it's not that bad. I'm so bad at doing my hair and this looks easy to use.

Tori White: I understand the idea that they want it to be easier by combining the blow drying and the styling but when I curl my hair I tend to rotate the direction of my curls. I would have to keep switching out the attachments to do that I think. Having said that, QVC completes my life. These people are pure entertainment lol

T B: I have a dyson blow dryer and love it. I hate to use hot heat and hot tools... I’ve had extra extra long hair for most of my life and I still find it difficult to do damage to hair even though I no longer keep it as long! This looks pretty cool. I returned a hot brush bc it was too hot!

Morgan Williams: Just about the only things I do like about it is that it's a multitool but mostly that it's apparently cool enough that she can grab the barrel while it's blowing. Must help with heat damage a bit.

Kirstan Survillas: Agreed. It’s also missing a diffuser attachment

Lacey Kratz: Did she say the curls were “sick” I can’t.. lol I have to admit I kind of want this, I have wanted the dryer alone for years but the price tag is just insane.

Eliana Selzer: It does not use “air“ to curl your hair. It uses heat! Up to 300° according to their website.

Eugenia Zakharova: Well, hairdressers do that for ages with a round brush and any blowdryer. The only innovation is that it wraps the hair by itself

LISA B.: This , once I got over the ''wow" factor, would probably end up in my hair tool graveyard. I don't have the patience to take small strands of hair. Short, fine hair, I can see this working, but long and thick hair, I don't see how that can possibly work, you'd have to take such small sections. Now that hair tools, the new ones , have lower heat settings, it's kind of hard to sell anything at that price to regular consumers. But, it's a Xmas gift, that's what they're banking on. Oh look, I have a $550 hair curler. Everybody , myself included, gets all excited at new hair tools, and in the end, they're in the ''hair tool graveyard" This would truly be a very expensive toy. It's a brand new concept and it draws attention. I don't want to criticize something I don't own, it's not fair, but I still don't see how this can work and hold curls all day long. It's one thing curling your hair in a studio and going ''see, look" but what does it look like 12 hrs later I wonder.

Kristen Wack: I am not paying $500 for something I can already achieve with a $40 wand.

Emmsays _: I’ll take it in a heart beat if it’s free...!!!

James Klawinsky: I definitely want it but it’s so so so expensive to me

Christine: When will it be back in stock?

Amanda: Only if I would get a stylist with it for that kind of money ..!! €500 is Insane.!

Taylor Jones: I came on to YT to look up how to make a bodice for a strapless gown. Ended up here. Watched the whole thing. Still don’t know how to sew a strapless bodice...

ABC D: This is eerily similar to the air curler

Camille Coopersmith: How expensive is this curling iron

Deirdre Vi: The curls literally fell 70% by the end of the video

Allison Morani: Love the dryer. Can’t get on board with this.

RoseTheOne64: For $500 and that's how the curl comes out for the woman who's getting paid to convince us to buy it looks....PASSSSS

Chas A: Yea..... I'll just stick to my curling wand and heat protectant spray

XING GAO: The reason that I don’t want this Dyson hair set is not because I can’t afford it, it because I don’t have much hair : ) as a 22 years old girl who study Chemical Engineering

Melanie Merchant: Why not wireless since they already have the vacuum without charging

Philyaw Homestead: Can’t wait until mine comes in!

Mr Glow Up: The presenter is hilarious, she's talking about it as if it's gonna change your life, fix all your problems, bring back the dead and let you travel back in time!

Lissette Rosado: I hear the hair dryer attachment is nowhere near as strong as the single Dyson hair dryer.

Niz R.: Believe me when i say that China will be making an exact photocopy of this one as soon as they get their hands on it. At ofcourse, a cheaper price. Wayyy cheaper.

Ashley P: “Those curls are sick”

Emmsays _: I’ll only pay $500 if it curls my hair inside my nose !!!!

Stoycho Rusinov: Gray curls hope to stay more than a 10 mins on her head but sadly as far as I’m seeing their starting to drop down shape so yeah... 500 bucks? Not today.

Jamie S.Kay: Dyson, please stick to vacuums! Your airwrap curlers are way too expensive and the curls won’t even last for more than 10 minutes! A mess!

momomilk: How big the difference between 320 degree and 302 degree ? 302 not hurt my hair and 325 does?

The Public account: Did anyone actually listen they said they were not drying it fully that is why curls were not polished!

liana rafiai: I need one!

Devilwearsprada1981: I need to see somebody that has real natural curly hair.

Cartloopa: Check out instyler brand. Their products do same stuff, work great and are MUCH less expensive.

oneworld24: It’s a cool concept but honestly Debbie’s hair is a hot mess

Bella M: I think it should have come on a box made of 14k gold just saying

Erin P: *Those curls are sick*

kt4ever02: The cords are heavy AF on Dyson hair dryer

Candice Chapman: “This is just the BAWKS that it comes in”

Erika Sparks: Why won’t they make a wireless hairdryer dude

Christa Marie: “Drying it while it curls” LOL your hair is already dry before you started using it!

Ashley: No thanks I already got a hair drying brush from revlon and a set of hot rollers that were a fraction of the price of this thing. I like Dyson as a brand but this is not worth $500.

Sazzy Woo: it's to noisy the curls are not great & it will probably drop within 10 minutes & the price is ridiculous dyson do not live in the real world when it comes to pricing

Harry Y: genius product but, do i really want that motor sound blasting next to my ear? gonna go deaf after 100 curls lol

Colleen Ong: I really wanted to get one of these but the curls during the demo do not look pretty

Lulu Lulu: You have to start from the middle

Siffarra: Great review! Check Out Our Overview

Steffers 71914: That’s right. Smile through the pain of that thing burning your scalp.

M Park: I think the demonstration could have benefited greatly from more practice. The hair did not look good. At all. Objectively.

yakka: At AUD700 it’s completely unaffordable

YupVideoFever: Just make an easy but rotating! hair brush like Philips volume brush. And then I buy it. Then everyone buys it. Guaranteed. The Dyson airwrap seems to do semi job with every hair style. Doesn't look worth the price.

Vic YY: Anyone cares about the vacuum noice throughout the whole styling process? At least curling wand doesn’t make any noises.... so noisy!

CF: I want this so badly

Matcam: Lol had a curling iron like that in 90's....not new concept dyson

ashley: This woman talking about this hair dryer like it's the second coming of Christ

Chiara Maria Inocencio: Great investment in your life. Honestly!

BeccaB1187: Came for the video, stayed for the comments.

Martha R: She is using such large chunks of hair to demo...they should have utilized a model while she spoke...oh when I get the opportunity I would pay this amount...I use to work for blow out salon and ladies would drop $40 a visit just to have someone blow dry their hair to perfection. This would pay for itself after a few uses.

Karin Cope: Looks like the morning after hair ....

Shannon Gear: Are you kidding me $500, come on Dyson get real.

Unicorn Lala: Does it work on rough thick african hair

Instyle Red: I don’t see this concept working on naturally curly/frizzy hair. Only straight haired people can use this. Not worth the $$$$$$$

Shrimpyyyyy: Those barrels do not look long enough for long hair and the curls look awful

Steffers 71914: Are those glasses even prescription?

Christian Coleman: $500 for bed bead hair? Please.

Anna: It looks cool but 500 bucks for it is too much..

Anna Chait: Oh and by the way, those curls are sick! Lmaooooo

Sweta Vyas: I want this

pari will: Nice

Victoria Micheal: Dear debbie, u did not convince me with that curling job u did.

livamilAVA: Dyson uses the same philips motors.... like why would u pay 500$ bucks???

Right the Wrong: Dyson, someone there gave you a money losing idea. You should've not created this product above and used the money to bring down the cost of your other products. You're living in the year 3000 with your pricing.

Brittany Carter: $500 I'm sorry but no. Why dont they put it in a cheaper box and charge $250. I honestly would pay $250 for it to try out but not a cent more.

Rachel Spellacy: Her hair is a riot

Alejandra Mendez: What about long hair??? I have yet to see a demonstration with long hair.

ellaxoxo15: Okay so, take a shower at night, let your hair dry for like 50% put in some curlers, go to sleep! and bam! You got heatless, air dried curls! LOL

Andie Winchester: It looks like a sloppy mess.

Zhiyi Mou: Philip has released a similar product that’s waaay cheaper.....

Cynthia L: 500 bucks. Are you kidding me

NaNa lisa: i perfer go to the Hair salon, can last longer and prettier

B C: The glasses “are hard to digest whats going on”.... Infomercials

Jan: I bet tbe curl does not last

Kelly Green: For $500 these two ladies should look much better than they do.

LASHLOVE33: Do the curls last tho..... lol

nicolle n.: Just stick to vacuums

Isabel D: But where did u get that dress ?

Mama Dell: Why did I just here a 60yr old lady say " this is sick " I'm dying. I'm 41 and wouldn't use that term. Leave it to the kids lmao

Lydia Aziz: Dyson i like this product but too exoensive

Kelly Green: This is an example of why America is so dependent on imports from China. China will come up with something that is waaay cheaper and will do a much better, lasting job.

vsboy 25: Dyson is overpriced

Emmsays _: Can this curl my mustache??

C K: I can’t trust anyone who says ‘wallah’.

jennti: Just buy an Instyler and save yourself time and money ;)

Betsy Ross: $500

ButtNee Vurt: Is it safe to use?

Nicola Davis: Her hair is a mess, hardly worth the price tag.

Lorelei Hopkins Art: A bit OA the way she explains the functions. Like we’re all a bunch of idiots I mean wtf I want it but so expensive

Dragana: 5:03 take two.
