But chile, the gworlz online and 38 complaints with the Better Business Bureau tell a different story. Do we have another little wig scamiana on our hands or is this all just a misunderstanding? Celebrity wig, stylist or serial scammer he's a scam. She took my money. Dozens of women claim an atl area. Hair stylist is selling dream wigs on instagram, but once he gets your money, he goes ghost i'm justin carter. This is tsr investigates, celebrity hairstylist and owner of mink wigs. His name is jacorian perkins he's done, hair for the likes of super saiyan, phaedra parks, tammy rivera, but several of his online customers say that perkins is a scam artist out to steal people's money. It'S like it's always your own people. They they do. You wrong. Tanisha thomas bought three wigs from mink wigs two in april, one in may. She paid two thousand forty three dollars and ninety cents, i'm thinking since it's kovit people was taking a while to shut people's stuff off, but when almost two months passed, she decided to dm the company's instagram page and she got this response. It says quote: our warehouse orders were delayed, which is separate from the in-store wigs, but they are at the top of priority to go out next week. End quote: that was it. That was the last message she received from the company even after months of follow-up messages. I was starting to get upset because i'm like how am i supposed to get in contact with you if you're not emailing me back you're, not dming me back and now you're deleting my comments, so other people can't see them. She lives in texas. Mink wiggs is in atlanta, so she sent a close friend who lives nearby to go to the shop and confront perkins on october 13th he told her that the wig still wasn't ready, told her to come back in a few days, so she came back in a Few days when she got there in a few days he was gone the next day she came back and she said she saw him. She saw him get up and go in the back. I guess he was hiding from him one of my biggest goals. For me this year is i wan na you know, make four million dollars we dug into jakorian perkins background. I did a quick search of his name on georgia's state board of cosmetology and barber's online database. It seems that perkins is not licensed to do any hair. Related services in the state of georgia in this video from april of 2021, he says that he got a start: styling wigs for instagram, star and entrepreneur super saiyan. I was doing her hair and i was getting so much attention but doing her hair. Something was like: you need to throw a sale. You need to do a sale because, okay, i'm gon na throw a sale. I threw a sale and literally in a week of me, being there, i made twenty thousand dollars, so i was like wow. You know. I really have a call, and i really need to be making this a bigger situation. He says that led him to launch mink wigs last year in august i did like a hundred thousand dollars in sales and it was getting so big and it was kind of growing out of control. Apparently so out of control, that customers say he is not shipping. Their wigs at all his website, clearly states orders take about 5 to 15 business days, like i can log into his actual website, and it will tell you right then, and there the dates, the wigs the amount and then my order is unfulfilled. Mink wigs has been slapped with 38 complaints in the past 12 months. According to the better business bureau, customers say that they were encouraged to pay through peer-to-peer systems like cash. App simone williams, who covers the atlanta region for the better business bureau, says that is a big red flag. Once you use a peer-to-peer system that money's gone, it's it's just as easy as you would use um similar to using cash. Once you give a cash away to that person, it's gone, don't start a business. If you can't run it properly, amanda jones from florida she paid 300 through cash app for this tia wig. Then after two months, i'm like okay. Can i get my money back? This is ridiculous, so i'm dm dm and nothing then he blocked me dominique richards from new york city paid 659 dollars for a wig. She wanted to wear for her birthday that was october 13th, she's still waiting like you know, you requested a refund and he said yes, what has the communication been like since no response, i've emailed him several times? I'Ve dm'd him several times. I wrote on his page. Several times - and i actually noticed that he was strict at my account from actually writing anything on his page. We gave jacorian perkins an opportunity to address these scam claims one-on-one. Instead, this is what he sent the team that i had hired. I didn't know them prior to this, so they don't know my company and i'm not blaming it on them. But a lot of orders that i thought were getting filled were not being fulfilled. I had to literally come up with a plan, stop taking orders, but also maintain the things that i have already created for this business, such as a storefront location, keeping up with inventory. I can't just shut those things down, basically eating off the backs of us at first. I was just going to let the situation go, but i'm that's not happening. I'M actually going to be filing a small claim and i will see jacorian in court. We also reached out to super saiyan, and her management tells me that they no longer have any association with mink. Wigs we've also learned georgia's attorney general chris carr has been made aware about this, and it's a reminder that if you feel like you're falling victim to a scam at all, your state's attorney general's office is typically the best line of defense, the better business bureau. I've ordered thru the same site from all over the country and have always received my items .. I was trying to support., but Walmart and the Asian hair store have the products that I know work. I’m 51 but I don’t think you’ll ever catch me paying this type of money for a wig but to each their own.♀️ I remember when I first started seeing the lace front wigs years ago. I never cared for the style because initially, everyone had the same generic middle or side part and swoosh and swooped baby hairs.♀️ The process seems quite taxing and over time it seems that your own hairline hairs will become sparse overtime removing the glue. I saw a video of Doja Cat and her hairline appeared lighter and it may make the hairline seem further back. I’m thinking it’s because she wears wigs a lot. It’d be a shame if women (not necessarily the ones in this clip) are spending money on these wigs yet don’t have food in their fridge, behind on bills etc… It’s annoying to see these women decked out with hair, nails and toes done yet their children are unkempt.♀️

1 From The Jump: Personally I'm old school. I was born in the 60's. When we were younger as black ppl wasn't allowed to where our natural hair. I know some ppl who lost they're jobs for wearing afros and cornrows. This explains why so many of our black women are wearing wigs and weaves. We we're only accepted because we wore European style (straight) hair. Fast forward to 2022 and we have new comer's from Africa who are praised about their natural hair. I'm praying one day that black folks put China out of business and start back wearing their natural hair.
