My dearest Maggie, Do you remember when I told you about this hair salon opened 15 years ago in 1888? Well, it has been on my mind for the last few months and I have decided to create my very own hair parlour. And guess what Not only will I cut hair, but I will also offer barber shop services.. How shocking is that, As you can imagine, I am now surrounded by some kind of scandalous aura., But I know that time will set things right once people discover how delightful it is to be pampered.. I already have a few appointments planned and my very first customer is about to come over this evening. And I'm ready. Good evening. Please come on in.. You are my very first appointment.. You are here for a new hairstyle right Lovely.. Please have a seat. Make yourself comfortable. There. Let me have a look at you.. Do you have an idea of what you'd like already Well? It will partly depend on the nature of your hair.. I will have a close look and I'll be able to guide you for the perfect hairstyle made for you and your hair type. Lovely, let's see.. So I will give your hair a first brushing to get an idea of your hair's nature and then look for any dryness or any other aspect that could matter for the final hairstyle.. Let me see. On the other side. ... The ends are split.. However, the hair looks quite healthy., Let's see.. Now, let's see if your hair is hydrated enough., I'm going to have a look at your scalp., So ..., Alright, there's a bit of dryness, but nothing that can't be fixed. And that's the good news we can do any hairstyle you'd like. With or without curls braids Volume, whatever you'd like. You're, not sure.. Alright, then I can show you some pictures, so you may find inspiration.. I'Ve been collecting all kinds of hairstyle pictures over the last months, so I can offer my customers a large range of ideas., Each of them at the forefront of fashion of course.. Oh you like curls Lovely., So hairstyles hairstyles, ... No. What about this classic Pompardour hairstlyle. With these voluminous waves quite similar to my own hairstyle right now.. It is very popular.. There are not many curls involved, but I can add some on the forehead. And the main shape is quite easy to do at home. If you wish to style it again later. What else do we have..? What about this? One, Yes, might be too modern.. There is this fashion magazine that was sent to me from Paris.. Let'S have a look.. This one here is very pretty it has this old fashioned. Look that may remind you of the beginning of the 19th century, but with a more modern updo and a lot of tight curls on the forehead., Too old fashioned Alright.. Look at this one. A lot of curls on the front and still those timeless waves on the top.. This could be a ball hairstyle with a feather as well as an everyday style. If you keep it simple.. I think these tight curls would look very good on you.. What do you think Lovely. For this one? We won't need to cut a lot of hair, Just the spilt ends to make it a bit healthier and maybe a few strands here and there to get these lovely short curls on the forehead.. So that's decided Lovely, let's wash your hair.. First of all, I'm going to put this towel around your shoulders, so you won't get wet. Here we go.. Let me adjust it. Good.. So now I'm going to wash you hair with a Castile soap, which is the best option for a dry scalp., Just relax.. Here we go, is it warm enough Very good.? Alright, now, let's use the soap. Good now, let's rinse the hair, with clear water. And now let me dry your hair gently. Perfect. There. Now. It is time to use a hair tonic. As I said, there's a bit of dryness, so I'm going to massage your scalp with a specific lotion that will help your hair stay silky and smooth. Lovely. There.. This lotion contains rosemary oil, almond oil, burdock root and lavender oil.. Here we go.. This is a very good one, but that must not be used too often, or it may darken your hair.. Now it is time to comb your hair again and start the cut., I'm just going to snip away the damaged ends, so we can maintain your lenght. And the ends. ... Good. Another one, ... Good., Let's see for the short strands. Here we go. Alright at the back. There simple, but lovely.. Now. Would you like me to perfume your hair before we start the final hair, styling Lovely.? This was made with violet oil and smells like a Spring meadow on a sunny, day. Good.. Now I'm going to do your hair according to the hairstyle, your chose., So I'm going to prepare everything. I need and heat the curling tongs on the stove. Here we go., So I'm going to take a strand: ... tease the hair ..., So we can get volume. And now I can arrange it and pin it. Alright. Good.. Another one. Teasing the hair ... Trying to achieve these beautiful waves. Lovely. One last ... Good. Now time to curl these tiny strands on the forehead.. Alright, it's not too hot.. Let me see ... First, one hold still. Just a few seconds: ... Lovely.. Second, one ... Carefully ... Good. Last one ... And .... That'S good., It's beautiful., But something is missing.. Wait a minute.! What about these ornamental combs? These are so fashionable. These days. Sure., Let's put one of each side. Here ... And on the other side, ... Lovely.. There'S a mirror right here..
