In this video, I'm gon na show you the bags that I used to carry my hair tip, hey guys, what's up auditioning and welcome back to my channel. I just want to preface and say that I'm not a licensed cosmetologist, and so my hair kit is pretty at all. If you happen to be new to my channel. Welcome I'm a freelance makeup artist and licensed aesthetician, based out of Los Angeles obsessed with organizing de potting and talking all things makeup. Artist related some of you enjoyed this video and want to see more just like this. One, then, is that life support button. Alright, let's talk about my latest Amazon obsession. This is what I replaced my Zuka backpack with. It is a backpack that I used for my hair products, although I actually think it would be amazing for makeup products too. I have another video on how I carry my makeup, so I'll link that in the description box as well, let's go ahead and get into bag specific. So it's $ 44.99 and you can get it off of Amazon. It is 18 inches across 12 inches and then it has about 10 inches of depth, so I actually found I could store quite a bit more than I did in my super backpack and it's a fraction of the price. If you don't want to use it as a backpack, you can actually tuck away these straps and use it just to hang on to a rolling luggage. Cart, so you've got a handle here, that's really sturdy and then a handle here as well. So, depending on how you store and organize and carry it gives you a lot of different flexibility on one side, you've even got a cup holder, which is amazing for a thermos or even hairspray, or anything got different straps on here, which is great when you load Up your kit with a lot of heavy stuff, so in this front compartment here I actually just carry my cape and a little battery pack for my electric razors next. This pouch opens up and I carry my little protective mat that I place down as well. As my one of my curling irons and my straightening iron, just my larger things on here, it's got some nice padding. I think it's typically meant for a laptop, but it's really great because it can protect your irons as well. So one of my favorite things about the bag is actually the biggest compartment down here and so how you access that is you just unsnap these and then, instead of a backpack where you wouldn't have to like store and organize your stuff. This way and like dig down it actually just doesn't suck like this and you open it up and you have so much room. This is a great box away. Um actually used for my disposables for my makeup kit as well, but I found it was great to put some of my little hair necessities, things that I use and if you're a makeup artist, who's like dabbling in hair or has to do, like, I say, dry, Light hair, styling you're just a couple tips that I've kind of learned from hair stylist these little things aren't amazing for doing a ponytail on someone, because I don't know if you've ever tried. It'S actually really hard to get the hair down nice and sleek. What'S great about these is that it hooks in and then it wraps around and then you can hook it together, so you don't have to do. Like that weird hand, hair dance, another little trick that I learned so my hair stylists are these little Clips here. They'Re, like these little tiny, butterfly clips, you can actually just pin it into this middle section of their ponytail and it'll kind of flare out and make their hair look. Fuller. Of course, we've got some like little hair ties here. I think I need to expand and kind of change this up, but this is what I have for now. Next, I have these three bags. This is my shaving kit, which is a necessity if you do tv/film men's grooming. I do have some topics in here. I'Ve got an electric razor as well as some like shaving products and then a little thing to stop bleeding. Also a side note, this edge shaving cream is amazing for removing fake blood. If you ever need it, this is what's very fun. Now I carry my makeup in these bags before so I already had them, but look at how much you can store in them. I mean it's amazing, so in one of these I have my hair products and then an another one. I have my tools and like irons, that break down and smaller pieces. Alright, let's get into some of my favorite products. Like I mentioned, I'm not a licensed cosmetologist. These are just some products that have worked for me to help achieve some like basic camera-ready looks so. The first thing that I think is really great to have is a water bottle, and this is an amazing one that you can get from Namie's or Nigel's or wherever, because it gives a really fine, continuous mist. Another product that I absolutely love and I took a hairstyling class from the Terry Townsend workshop with Anastasia and I'll link, all of it, the description box below guys it was a mind, blowing class and it really changed the way that I look at here when I Have to do it, so this is a really great product that she introduced to me. It is the Aquash detailing cream. This is amazing for like d frizzing puff me, this is great, for if you have to tease the hair or if someone has really fine, hair and you're trying to get it to stay a little bit of this will kind of give it the grip that it Needs to hold another one of my favorite products. This is from a verb. Verb has some really amazing products and a super great price is the C texture spray. You can partner it with the with your heat protectant, what, before your doing, an actual curl to help it hold better. Alright, in this side, I have some brushes and combs. I have a little hair dryer. I don't do blowouts. Everyone needs to come with their hair dry, but in case you know it's raining or something and you have to blow-dry the hair. I do have a little one. It has like a little attachment to it here. Oh, I have a little Paul Mitchell like five different ones. Okay, one last thing: I just grabbed these from my on set bag. These are what I carry for like on set hair touches. I have the Aquash little finishing spray hairspray. This is great for adding a little bit of shine and smoothing away flyaways a little comb and then a little wet brush as well as this little toothbrush, and then this is great. I actually depotted a lot of the products that I had in here into this little pomade thing and I used to have them labeled, but when you have hand sanitizer it kind of rubs off in the bottom is honcho, which is an amazing product for grabbing flyaways. You can use it with the toothbrush or with your fingers, and then I have the aquatic detailing cream. I have an edges cream and then I have a suave Sita would as well as a night writer which is great for giving it texture. So sometimes when you're on set and then like they're like oh wait, it's like a bedhead scene or you know the hairs a little messy. This is a great product to throw in as well and I'll link all the products in the description box below. But if you are a hair, stylist feel free to contribute with some of your favorite products in the comment section below these are just been things that I've kind of found that have worked for me if y'all end up in this bag, then please tag me on Instagram to let me know how you organize it, I love seeing how other people create and design their own bag. As always, there are more tips tricks on Facebook and from top makeup, by Shannon way. I hope you guys are having a great week and I'll catch here on this video. I have
