Well, the holiday parties are starting to roll in, so we brought back celebrity hairstylist Joseph main to get you ready to make ways that all of your festive soirees they hello. I love when you're here, you're so much fun and you make sure that we're on trend and you're right, because I started getting my invitations to the parties already. I know if they're around the corner, what should we? What should we be thinking about when we're getting ready for these parties? I mean just have fun with it. It'S a great time, just like try something new, do something a little bit different and just go for it. You know, like I did with my phony, born exactly I'm living for this. What is it? Okay? Okay, good! If I have your endorsement that I'm okay - because I know you style, Kate, McKenna, Sarah Jessica, Parker, Katie Holmes, Kelly Ripa you just recently - did such a sweetie yeah. These, ladies, are amazing, so they're, the ones that are setting these trends, so I'm so excited to show you guys some of them yeah, but they need your help. Let'S get to it. So I wanted to start with. One of the easiest looks of my opinion. It'S just this great slick up deuce, so this is really just I got her hair super wet. I use a drugstore brand hair gel. I put it all throughout her hair and I did a middle part, but you could do a deep side, part or no part at all, and I just wrapped it into a low bun. But what gives us a really red carpet finish? Is the next two things? I'M gon na show you okay, one being the color well root cover up. This to me is a celebrity secret anytime. I get a girl ready for the red carpet. This is what we use, because if you have a little bit of gray or a little root or you've done this slick, look where look how much of her scalp is exposed. This is what you want to use. It'S a mineral base powder that I'm gon na. Just dab right into her hairline and I'm just gon na go through and fill that in and make her hair appear ten times thicker, it's incredible, so it it's completely water resistant, it's not gon na move. It goes exactly where you put it and it's so easy. I mean I could do her whole scalp in 30 seconds with this, can I tell you a secret, tell me I did this with my pony pony yeah, I'm not kidding you because my mother said when I did it less and like a week ago. She goes. Oh you're, here Sophia, I didn't realize how it was and I go my girl in a bad way, but I had a wet pony tail and she said it's this. So I found that in my cabinet - and I dabbed it along here and you were right. It instantly made my hair look thick and instantly I'm you can see here, here's the site, I've just done, and now I'm going to show you slowly the other side, nice. You guys see ya and day. I told you maybe a little bit. Do I have money? Oh yes, and then for everybody else, you can find this at Ulta yeah. You can get this anywhere. This stuff is amazing, you guys and I'm gon na. Even if you don't have your roots done, you can put this on your wrist like if you have a part, and you like just want to make sure you guys guys the great yeah if you have a little gray or if your highlights have grown out. It comes in all natural shades, so anybody can use this product and then now I got to finish up your other side. We'Re gon na give her a little holiday bling as well. These are from Lillet and why these are available on net a porter and it's just fun to play with a little bit of a hair accessory as well just give it that extra, something something: alright, okay! So next up this is a really great classic glam wave, and so this seems really complicated. But to me it starts in the prep. I always prep. These glam looks with the color wild dream coat. So this is a really lightweight. Miss that's gon na give the hair all of this shine that you see it really holds the style and it also locks out any humidity so to get these long-lasting styles to send my clients down the red carpet. This is always what I use. Okay, it's a lightweight mist. It feels like water in the hair blow-dry it in and then I'm just gon na go around and with a one-inch iron and just make ringlets. So you go all the way around in the same direction yeah and make ringlets like this. Once you allow the hair to cool you, just brush them together, so don't be afraid to brush brush brush as long as the hair is cool, okay and then I'm gon na lock it in with a little of our cult, favorite hairspray, just roll off, and that's Something I think people are intimidated by, but that's doable at home. It'S the one thing I think everybody knows how to do with the curling iron is make ringlets. So now, once you've made the ringlets just don't be afraid to brush them out and then again you can lock it in with a great hair accessory. I love hair accessories during the holidays yeah. Clearly this audience does you guys are gon na, be all going over. You'Re, getting your hair accessories, alright and finally, what are we doing here? So finally, we're gon na do a faux bob. You know my a lot of my long hair girls love to see what they can do with what they would look like with sure. So I'm putting a bunch of our Cylon steroids throughout our hair. This is gon na, be your best friend. If you like, big hair, it's a great texturising spray, and so I'm just gon na go through her hair and quickly. Tease it up, make it really nice and big all right. Do you ever tease your hair? I guess I could tease my pony. Yes exactly make that pony nice and then I'm good. I don't want it to fall out on TV, then. So I'm just gon na go through I've, just teased it all a bit. I have this you've, given it some volume exactly so a little bit of width there, then I'm gon na use this headband a place I'll pull it over and I'm just gon na use. My hands to pull out some more height the right in front yeah. She has this cool mod 60s. Look going! I love this. I love what you're doing right now. So then we're gon na take a little pony tail. I'M just gon na wrap the ends of her hair into this pony tail, okay and then just roll this right up in to the headband and lock it around. Yes - and she gets this really cute yeah, and she has this really cute Bob. It'S such a fun holiday style that do you see how cute you are that is so easy, so easy.
