Tell us about yourself many of the Tony idol, I'm a stylist. This is my solo. I have hair products ranging from shampoo treatment, conditioners shin spray. Yes, I mean what I wrecked in that company, what prompted you to get into this line of business? This is something that I wanted to do since I was young and when I just clear high school, my mother, you know assisted me in getting you to eat. I just wanted it, but I didn't know how to do in high school. You want to do something, but you don't pursue it very much so my mother helped you like apply for the college and immediately from fall. I don't 28 journeys ever since school. That'S how I started, but it's something that I wanted to do since I was young. What are the challenges you faced? I will say there are challenges to does only that it was different for a meal to do this kind of job. So those bad, but you know, if you not bother me so much for many fights as a challenge, and I got it like it's different super body expects people to. I mean meal need to go to the hairdressing industry and also good good college elephants and challenge. What are your current business challenges? I would say they are also challenges, epic, where they are things that make you better every day you finally Emir hairdressers. You know some people think of you on the other side, maybe okay and and it's normal for me now it's no. He doesn't like bother me, doesn't make me not into sleep houses, no matter how people think about you. Another thing is not really a challenge. Is people parents are not taking it as a career? You know they're taking each other. You know for you to do this. You must have you know, you can't do anything else so require explaining their piece to not do it unless you have nothing else to do. That is wrong, so you know you get like young people coming into this thing because they have nothing else to do and if you have nothing else to do even here, it's also a feeling you come in and still fail. What is the competition like in this kind of business? Another thing I don't take it as competition, I I find, like everyone has their own kick, so it's not. Competition is just being smart at what you do and there you go you're, not really competition like because if you complete you'll completely two or three Salam's today, you computer priced model, computer of time, then at they complete of the house. You know flashing, the salon looks and you will complete over everything. So it's not really a competition. It'S who you are what you deliver to people, because even if a salon opens next door to you, how how? How will you compete for how long? So I don't take it as how do you face the other product competition i whistle for my products have not been faked and I think people who fake fake product on her you know hiding the markets so far having handled when a product is faked, unless somebody Just takes my products under it works on the other way around. You know somebody takes my product on pochittona ha, you know on another product and maybe a product that has come over the country. So taking my shampoo from the local container, put it in a you, know an expensive or that hasn't happened, but there's nothing much. You can do you know, all you feel is like somebody's killing. You, because they're not seeing what product is working, because my client is asking also did you use - and you know insure them another brand that closely but counterfeit of my product. So funny tell us about your product, all right, I'll start with my salon, because that is what I started with. My son has been here for seven years, a boxer for civilians actually um ten years in the industry. So that means I worked for three years employed and then seven years on my own, it has been okay, very good. My product started three years ago when somebody used to do it for me, so somebody used to do my shampoo. Then I Brandon, but the last eight months now I've been having my own factory and producing them. You know like my own, what is the potential business of hair and beauty industry in Kenya? Basically, it is good everything is working well for us, both in hair and beauty. People are embracing. Like you know, it's a career before embracing that it is a is a money-making industry. Somebody can take it serious. Like are the business challenges. Are you know we have? We have quacks so whose oil industry terms of they don't go to school and they can still go to school, and you know get this so it's if the government can be a little bit strict on our our industry. I think it can be way it's supposed to be yes like abroad in the US or UK. Those standards highs and lows of your business me being on a stylist and having my product is one of the highest thing I can ever see and people calling you and telling you you know. I use your product. I love your product. Come I'm proud of it. You know I can get this particular product that is working for me. That feels really nice. You know, let me go to your meal or you got ta. Take somebody texting you for me become a who. You know the loser. You know when they lose out when things are not like, as you expect you know, and which makes you a better person every day. You know, or sometimes you do, a bunch of products and you know they go out in the market and the perfume is totally different. You know you have to bring them back and all those kind of things, but you know, since you a need, we have to learn how to talk. What kind of services do you offer to customers? We offer every kind of hair service and beauty that means breathing. Coloring cutting consultancy, ik lyrics, you know all kind of needles, manicure pedicure and we also offer comfort. You choose your comfort, like the atmosphere when you're stressed and you feel, like one unwinding come to us here. We offer you guys. We make you feel like a queen. What advice can you give to aspiring as a mean? First, I will have to say you have to go to school. Second, I have to say you have to be focused that I have to say for the focus and dedication. Yes, those are the three main things and if you want to open a salon, I will say it's location determination, yes, ready to medical who is Tony Iroh outside work.
