Jennifer Aniston's hairstylist, Chris McMillan, tells Women's Wear Daily he was stoned when he created 'The Rachel' haircut in 1994, telling the fashion publication he is 14 years sober, and feels safe enough to say that. Gillian Pensavalle has more on the iconic look made popular by 'Friends' in the 90s.

You remember the Rachel haircut right. It was basically the seventh friend and Jennifer Aniston's looks sparked a wave of Rachel look-alikes, hey I'm Jillian. On buzz60. Now women's wear daily reports, Chris McMillan, the stylist behind one of the most famous haircuts of all time insisted. He was stoned when he created it in 1994, McMillan, a longtime friend of Addison's, also told WWD that he's 14 years sober and feels safe enough to admit that, for her part, Jen never saw what all the fuss was about when it came to her famous locks. She told the Laura magazine that it was the ugliest haircut she's ever seen and jokingly called her stylist and close friend, the bane of her existence for starting the trend made popular and friends. I just really now Jen is making sure women never have to suffer through bad hair days with her living proof line of hair products, she's even holding a contest where the winner will meet her and get a haircut by Macmillan, but participants can be rest assured. You won't be getting the Rachel that died in the 90s, along with those denim overalls, but 60 now you know pass it on

b/60: not just great, iconic ;)

Bella Rose: I would be so mad if my stylist was stoned & didn't tell me before he cut my hair!

UltimateGrobanite: For being high, it was a great style.
