Oh, i'm sorry running a little bit late got stuck in traffic in the rory. You must be well obviously yeah, i'm bailey good to meet you um. Well, i've been the hair stylist for any less celebrities going on 10 years now, uh no muff to too tough. So they say but um i got a feeling about you. Are you nervous about this? Being your first major motion picture, yeah, okay? Well, my friend don't be um. Now the first step to greatness is taking that big leap, and here you are so have no fear cat bailey's. Here, i'm gon na make you look fantastic all right. I got a plethora of tools. All right, i got misters got scissors shears the whole line, we're gon na make you look like a star okay, you know they say the first step of actually being a star is looking like one, so uh yeah, any particular style, or are we just going with What the directors want to do the director is kind of spielberg yeah. Well, we spoke earlier on the phone i had to uh. I had to get off the call. I had a client, i had an emergency, they found a bird in their hair, so i had to go. Take care of that, but sounds to me like uh know it's kind of up to me for the look. So why don't you and i kind of gather on that real quick? Do you have much experience with fashion high-end and then making sure that your hair looks the part not really okay? Well, i've got an idea all right. Just let me do me and sit back and relax go over some of your lines in your head for the movie. I know you've got a long day ahead of you. So ignore me, if you want take your nap, know that you're in fantastic hands here: okay, i've been doing this for a long time. I'Ve got a ton of experience and i'm gon na make sure that you look like a million bucks. Okay. So first, let me kind of just feel around okay, cool and yeah. You'Ve got you've, got lush volume, so there's a beautiful canvas here to work with absolutely beautiful canvas here. So i know these southern california um. You know the weather here can kind of be hard on your hair with some humidity, but nothing. We can't take care of okay yeah. So let's just go ahead and dampen this hair up we'll get started all right. So oh yeah, here's a special water. Okay, this water here is derived from the mountains, new zealand, all right, new zealand spring water, infused with minerals mint, so that you feel like you've, just climbed everest and come out on the other side, you're going to be feeling fantastic after i'm done. Uh spraying you down with this okay, go ahead and close your eyes for me, i'm going to get started here. We go and just breathe and focus on your breathing good job focus on that breathing. My friend just like that. Now, oh yeah, oh yeah, that's feeling nice. I once had a shoot styling appointment with leo my good friend leo yeah dicaprio. That'S right and did this thing with him? They really relaxed him uh more of an auditory, um kind of like you have you ever heard of asmr. Okay, it's it's it's! It'S it's a lot like that, um! So what it is i get my scissors out of my pouch briefly run over the uh details of the scissors, so that you really know the experience and like in the hardware that's being used on you and it's just um helps with the overall sensation of the Gut and and being enthralled in the experience, so this is my kit: i'm gon na go ahead and unzip it now yeah and we'll call those my shearers, and then we have our scissors now. Each one of these artisan handcrafted and bespoke scissors were handcrafted by george yovalene empty from italy. I was an apprentice of his when i was younger and these were hand-tuned handcrafted scissors, providing the most dynamic, sensational experience and haircut hardware available to mankind. To be honest with you, they're they're freaking, crazy, okay. So what we're gon na do is start off with our shears here. Okay, there's a process to this okay, so i'm gon na move it a little closer okay and we're just gon na get started. Okay, great job, just taking off some from the sides here, i'm a firm believer in hand tools a lot of times nowadays, particularly it's easy to get the clippers and remove a chunk of hair. But this allows me to be accountable for every single follicle of hair. In your head, no cut should go unwarranted, thus i'm here for all of it now, the typical rate for me, outside of a movie production, is roughly five to seven fifty an hour, no not dollars. Five hundred to seven hundred and fifty dollars yeah an hour um with a movie production, i usually budget quite higher, because it's no big deal to have the investors budgeted into the allowance. Okay, perfect now sit still for me, wonderful, okay! Now that left side over there is looking fantastic. Okay, i'm gon na go ahead and move over to your right side. Now we're gon na go ahead and get started on that feel free to close your eyes and relax all you want. Okay and we're just gon na go right above that right here now, okay, perfect! Here we go all right, how's that feeling good okay, quickly, reach kind of up behind you here and remove some of that back end. Okay, fantastic, okay, wonderful, take a deep breath in just relax fully for me here we go fantastic work, my friend, one more good, good, good, good, good, okay! Now and you can smell that mint in the air as we dampen that hair again, good good, good, good. Okay, now what i want to do after i remove my bracelet, because it's driving me crazy is get in for the detail now. Okay, now i'm gon na move a little closer, we're gon na start on your left side. First, here we go good, very small, yet detailed cuts with this we're gon na go right up over your ear here. So just keep relaxing you're. Looking like a star already this yeah wonderful, okay yeah. I like what i'm seeing so far perfect. Okay, keep relaxing! For me, beautiful, okay, good all right, let me move over to this right side. Now that beautiful work, my friend, you're doing a great job, the star power is real one. Second, mr de niro, my friend yeah i've been a while yeah yeah. We can get you in for that. No problem, yeah, yeah yeah, i'm open uh here in about i don't know two or three hours is that gon na work for you all right. That sounds good. Well i'll, just uh i'll ring you when i'm done and uh. Let me in okay, perfect, all right i'll talk to you soon, my friend all right, bye, all right. What was that? Oh yeah yeah, that was a rapper de niro good friend of mine, been doing business with each other for a long time. So a plus client we're going to go ahead and move in again on your other ear over here. Okay, there's a little spot right there above your ear that i missed okay, you're gon na be looking fantastic when this is all said and done, and so far so good. Okay, now i'm gon na get in here with some texture just working on the texture here make sure it's got some volume to it. We don't want that thing just flattening down like a toupee. We want air bubble here, going on clouds floating everything, looking fantastic, because what we want so we're just you know applying some elbow grease here: crunching it crimping it pushing it all up, making it look fantastic, all right so far, how's everything feeling for you feeling good. So far, good good good! Okay, that's what i want to hear. That'S what i want to hear. Okay now, i think we're about 99.8. There there's a couple little spots that i want to uh delevant on just some micro uh adjustments, but you really i'm not just saying this. Okay, i worked with hundreds of english celebrities over the course of my career in you have one of those faces and auras or us that is unmistakable. You you, you really are met for the silver screen. I'M not just saying that. I believe that, okay, all right, if you're feeling nervous, don't, okay, it's uh, it's it's show business, it'll, wear off and you'll find yourself at home here, but you don't want to look back at this opportunity and 20 years from now realize that you messed it up Because you were in your own head, just trust the process. You'Ve worked your butt off to get here now, just let it happen and have fun with it. Okay, good dampen her up one more time going for some cuts and then we'll be good to go all right good. Here we go okay, good good, good, hey, you're, doing a great job, though just don't be too nervous. All right, i wants accidentally used gorilla glue. Instead of hairspray on um jennifer aniston back in the 90s and could easily end in my career, but i was confident nah remedied the problem with the solution and gave her the best cut of her life. So there is redemption! Okay! Now, let's give it a quick run over real, quick all right, and i think that looking at it, everything is proper, fantastic, yeah, yeah, okay, yeah yeah. So with that, i think my job here is going to be done. Is there any questions you have for me? Well, not so fast kiddo. I like you all right. I think you're gon na do well, but you got ta prove yourself in this movie all right. I can't just be giving out my contact to anybody all right. One time i gave this one kid a cut and the movie flopped and he kept blew me up for i gave him my number and he blew up my phone for the next year. Asking me if i could. You know reach out to this person that person so now i don't do that so, but i'ma have my eye on you, okay, i'm watching! I want you to do well, i think you're you got what it takes. I really do so knock it down to the park and once this movie's a blockbuster hit i'll reach back out, we'll exchange number good. All right, well duty calls. I got a meeting with de niro for a haircut, so we will be packing it up and i'll get out of your hair. Literally don't mention it. Do you like it by the way best haircut you've ever seen?
