Better Than Revlon One-Step Hair Dryer & Styler?!

BETTER THAN REVLON One-Step Hair Dryer & Styler?!

Y'all I'm back with more one-step stylers. I honestly didn't think that more brands would come over with their own "version" of a one-step hair dryer and styler, but boy was I wrong. Today, I'm comparing two brands, Bed Head versus Hot Tools. Both tools are competing against the original, Revlon one-step hair dryer and styler.

Song: Mario Ayuda feat. Dolly Rae - Don't Feel Right (Dub Mix) [Concordia Recordings]

https://youtu.be/iwU0p8VrMLQ

Wow so smooth and it's like almost first free Revlon - never did it that great y'all know how much I love my one step: hair, dryer and styler. I honestly thought that was the end of them, but no, I can't look at the beginning. It'S that good. So many Brits are coming out with their own version, so we have two of them. For today we have the bed head, the TIG eye. This is their blowout freak. This is very intense in color, not my favorite. I personally don't like this. I think this is a very childish, but that's just my own personal preference and then the second one is the Hot Tools this right here. It looks like a very luxury style tool. I think it's beautiful. This is their one-step, blowout very sleek, very sexy, very minimal. Oh I'm going to apply a little bit of the bureau's, your bizarre cold. This is their protectant cream, but i use it as a leave-in conditioner. Instead of a leave-in conditioner right side is the hot tools left side. Is the bedhead lucious see if there's any difference? Probably not, who knows, maybe it's a huge difference, I'm going to start off with a high heat just to see how they compare to the Revlon. Don'T like the bristles on here. First thing: I noticed Hot Tools, super easy, effortless and glided really nice, but still had a little bit of tension in the air without hurting my hair. My help, my scalp, actually not my hair, this extra resistance, not as smooth interesting. What other thing I do want to mention Helen of Troy manufactures all three of these tools has the hot tools the bed head and then the Revlon. Let me quickly get it the Revlon tool, so it does make all three of these tools. The one thing that does make a difference for the hot tools is the plating. The plating is coated with a ceramic titanium coating versus the Revlon is just ceramic and the head. It doesn't really say what it's coated with. So I already feel a huge difference in my hair of how smooth it glides through, but it does have a little bit of hold on the hair just because of the dual bristles, the boar and the nylon. Let'S finish this off Wow so smooth and it's like almost first free, I mean Revlon. Never did it that great. I just want to show you guys a quick difference. Look at the hot tools versus Helen of Troy. Now this is the bed head. You can even see the difference in frizz and the smoothness of the hair, it's very smooth on the Hot Tools versus the bed head side parched, after that you guys alright. So now that I'm finally done one thing I do want to mention, is they both took relatively the same amount of time to dry my hair? It wasn't a crazy noticeable difference, honestly they're very similar in terms of how fast it took to dry the hair. One thing I do want to mention is how smooth the hair looks on each side, but a huge difference is on the hot tool side from the very beginning. The hair is very, very smooth and Adger eyes down very smooth and very evenly and consistently throw out the hair from the bottom to the very top. There'S very few flyaways a little bit right here. The baby hairs are sticking up, but then again I was blowing it up, not down. So that's a huge thing, but then going towards the bottom. On that bedhead side, they're flyaways are kind of sticking out on the hot tool side, they're, very smooth and very straight and sleek. I like this side better than the bedhead side. Is there a huge difference? That'S very huge! No, there isn't, but I can tell - and I like the hot toe side. Is it worth twenty dollars more personally for me? Yes, I think it's a. I think it did a far better job from my understanding with the better bristles and the better coating for the hot tools it produced. Very, very, very good results. Best results out of the three tools, in my opinion, so if you do have a twenty dollars extra to spend on a one-step styler, I would recommend this over the other tools over the BET head, and I can't believe I'm saying this over the Revlon. It just did a far better job and the results speak for themselves. If you don't want to spend the extra $ 20 get the Revlon, it's not a really great tool, it's phenomenal, but this one. This one takes the cake. It'S a good one and it looks good. It looks so much better. It just looks better. It looks more luxurious, it's very sleek, it's very sexy. It'S timeless! It'S all black, with a little chrome detailing on the sides. I mean it just looks better and it performs better it's a great tool and all of these three tools do have the exact same similarities. They have a cool, low and high heat settings, so there you guys, have it honestly. I think this is a far better match for Dyson versus the Revlon. If you guys want to see that comparison, I think actually kind of want to do it I'll be really good. Let me know down below if you guys want to see a comparison against the Dyson ear wrap, but for now you guys thank you so much for watching spending time with me and my 1-step stylers I'll, see you another one very soon. I love you all very much bye. You

Roulette X: The best trick for all these stylers: Dry a section on the high setting. As soon as it is mostly dry, switch to the cool setting finish. It saves your hair from all that heat, and it is the secret to getting the smooth finish and volume.

Tiffany Hebert: I bought the Revlon one after watching your first video on it and I love it so much!! I had it for 8 months and it just stopped working one day, I hadn't dropped it nor do I think it overheated. I called the Revlon customer service and actually spoke with a person. I told the lady what happened and she said it has a 4 Year replacement warranty on it and I could replace it even though I bought it through amazon. All I had to do was give her some info off the tool itself and she sent me a new one and I had to mail mine back so they could see why it stopped working. She emailed me a link for a prepaid shipping label and I mailed mine back and received my new one within a week. I am very impressed with Revlon's customer service that I don't want to switch, and I personally don't see they much of a difference between the Revlon or the others. I would like to see a comparison between the Revlon and Hot tools though. You're videos are great and informative!!

Michelle Mitchell: For everyone talking about the heat on the Revlon...I too thought I couldn’t use it because it was too hot, but then started using it at the the low setting. It gets hot enough and works just as good on my hair. I have never had any issues since using the low setting. So hopefully you tried that before returning!

Telena Eldridge: After researching these tools a bit, I decided to get the Hot Tools gold version this past weekend. I couldn't believe the blowout I got!!! My hair even looked good the next day after sleeping on it. I was delighted to see this review on my feed this morning - makes me feel better about choosing the Hot Tools over the Revlon. Thank you for all that you do.

Apryl Griswold: I always do a cool blast when I’m done blow drying! It helps tremendously with frizz and flyaways and adds SHINE. I think the Revlon could do just as great as the Hot Tools if you did a cool blast at the end.

amberdcoyote: I can't believe something outdid the Revlon! I have had mine for a year now after watching your review and it is the ONLY way I dry my hair now. I can't say THANK YOU enough for introducing me to it! Maybe once it bites the dust I will test out the Hot Tools, but for now I will stick with my Revlon. :) as always, you're amazing!

Kk J: My husband bought the revlon one for me yesterday and I used it for the first time and my hair still feels sleek and soft, also no hair on the brush at all very impressive thanks for your review

Sydtoday: I'm not one to spend time "doing my hair" but I recently watched this video and two weeks ago Ulta had the hot tools styler on sale for 1/2 price! Score! I used it for the first time yesterday and I'm a fan. I can't believe how easy it was and how great my hair feels and looks. My husband hat to tell me to stop playing with my hair :)

Cindy Girgenti: Thank you for making this video! I saw another video about how good the Hot Tools version was after I had brought the Revlon styler, so I exchanged the Revlon for the Hot Tools one. I think it’s awesome, but I never saw any videos about it again and thought maybe people were having problems with it. This video made me feel much better and that I made the right purchase!

Rochelle Robinson: I was in love with my Revlon until it fell apart last month. After using it for under 10 months the bristles and pins came out while I was doing my hair. Posted pix on the Revlon FB page, was given the email to customer service. They were very apologetic and sent me a replacement. Luckily this happened close to Black Friday. I decided to go ahead and get the more expensive Hot Tools version. Amazon had it for $49.99. I like it much better than the Revlon. It does not get as hot and my hair is much smoother. When I get my hair done I bring my styler with me. My stylist prefers the Hot Tools as well. My hair glides through it much easier and it looks better. Will probably give the Revlon away to charity.

Suly Bolanos: Bought the Hot tools one and I've saved hundreds of dollars by not paying for blowouts now. Absolutely love that I can style my hair from wet to dry and styled in less than 15 minutes. Thank you for this video!!

Ishika Ishika: The best thing about milabu is that she never makes videos excessively long by talking too much. U never get bored watching her.

Kelly Maldia: I just bought the Revlon One Step Styler during Prime Day! I love it. It cut my blow out time in half. I did notice a tad bit of frizz I don't get with traditional blow dryer and round brush which takes forever plus my neck and shoulders become sure and exhausted. (Bulging discs in neck) Oh well! If and when it breaks, I'll upgrade. Thank you for reviewing the One Step Styler. It's been a life (neck and shoulder) saver. It's so easy to use, my son can blow out my hair with it. It's such an easy tool for someone to use, even with limited mobility.

Kathie Harrop: I'd love to see the 'Great Blow Down' of Hot Tools vs Revlon and Hot tools vs Dyson. Thanks for your videos. They are super helpful.

Donna Smith: I bought the hot tools with for different brushes from QVC. It’s made my life so much better! I think it’s a lot healthier for my hair not to use the straightening iron. It’s also easier than using a brush and straightening iron. I let my hair air dry for about 30 minutes then use it on low, perfect hair all the time!

Catalina TeslaBlanca: So far I love this Revlon one step! It left my hair feeling like I had a salon blowout. I wanted to give this one a try first before going out to purchase the Hot tools one ☝️. But so far I am truly loving it and it’s thanks to you sweetie ❤️. Great videos!

Brenda Hankins: It's funny to see this craze because I had a Wigo one (the original) back in 2001 before people even had hair straighteners! It was a UK brand and the reason I ordered it online was because my hair was sooo thick & coarse & frizzy that it took me hourS to dry & style it with a blow dryer & brush alone. And then in 2003 people started using the Hot Tools straightener.

Rochelle Robinson: I purchased the Revlon version after watching her video earlier this year. Worked well until a few days ago. The bristles started to fall out!! At first I panicked and thought my hair was breaking off. It was the bristles and one whole row of the pink tipped pins came off. Not really surprised, in the past I've used a few of Revlon's flat irons and they were junk as well. I'm going to try the Hot Tools next, hopefully someone has it on discount for Black Friday.

Amy W: Thanks for this review. I had debated about buying the Revlon styler, but I do like the Hot Tools brand. I have a regular hair dryer from Hot Tools, and my stylist uses that brand.

Donna Vialpando: I love how honest your reviews are

Bloomingpeonies_collective evolution: A very sleek and simple way of comparing products !!.. love how you deliver your videos thanks @milabu xd:)

mak3upadd1ct: I bought the revolt one and it didn’t give me the results I wanted, I am excited to see better brands come out with hot air brushes, let’s see if they work on my hair

Tamara Morton: Well, darn it. I've had my Revlon one step styler for about four months now, I guess, and I'm really enjoying it but I don't like knowing that there's something better out there. I did a lot of research before I spent the $60 on it but that's just the way it goes. Also, Milana( I hope I spelled that right), please please please do updos/hairstyles with your hair this length and even a little longer, if you can. My hair is about as long as yours is now, for the first time since I was in high school. I'm enjoying it. I probably should be able to translate some styles that you've already done into my longer length but it's not always that easy, at least not for me.

Samantha Justus: I just got the Revlon a few weeks back and love it. It makes my hair look so much fuller.

Danielle D: I have been using the Hot Tools one for a couple of years now and it is still going strong and doing an amazing job! Love it!

Olivia Marie: Tip! Hot Tools is sold in most pro beauty supply stores, so if you know anyone who is a pro MUA or hair stylist, you can ask them to pick one up for you - with a discount! And it ends up being the same price as the Revlon.

janel miller: This is hot tools 2nd attempt...she tested the regular hot tools one step styler a few months ago. It was also $20 more. Hopefully everyone keeps trying to improve on the design. I will never go back to a regular blow dryer.

Julie Kooiker: I got the black tool after watching this and love it! Thanks. Love you videos so much. Your pace and presentation and content keep me coming back for more

Mindya Dambiznezz: Yes, please compare the Revlon with the HOT tools! Love your reviews because you are honest! Thanks!

Tobias Be: I would love to see comparison between this one and Remington Certain Protect hair dryer brush! Thanks for your work btw. It's really helping!!!

Kris No: Thank you so much for your honest reviews. I really value your feedback and its so helpful when I want to invest my money on products like these. I just cut my hair into a bob and I really wanted one of these and after watching your reviews and reading reviews I decided ultimately on Hot tools 2.4" barrel and I absolutely love it!! I can't do the high heat setting because it turns me into a sweaty mess here in lovely Hawaii. >_< But thank you so much, I just wanted to write to you, even though I'm sure that you probably won't see this since this video is a year old already. Love you and your beautiful family, Mila!! <3

sherry svesnik: Since the revlon was the first best result you demonstrated. I got it. I Love it!!!! It is affordable. I put all my roll brushes away & it is my new go to. I know there will be products always being improved or knocked off, but I will be content with the Revlon.

Chloe Turner: Love this! Love that hot tool never lets us down xx

Parveen S: I usually partially dry my hair with a blow dryer until about 3/4 dry. Then switch over to the styler. I feel like I get less heat exposure and better results.

Vikkyt: i LOVED my revlon one but after using it for a year i find my ends are severely thinned, my hair looks insane! i only use that tool. Has this happened to anyone else?

Niki V: I actually love the bright colors! But I'd still buy the one that performs better, even if it looks boring

Llama Cat: Relvon one step is a life saver for me. I can’t blow dry my hair no matter how much I try. I might have to try the hot tools one.

Lissa Martinez: Wow, its so crazy how alike those hair dryer look! they look exactly the same lol, your hair turned out pretty! I filmed a video like this too but I have very very curly hair so its interesting to see the difference depending on hair type.

Ilovedonuts: I’ve gone through 4 Revlon dryers...I love it. But wish they’d last a little longer. I do use it every single day....and I have really thick hair...but I still love my Revlon!

Creole Natchitoches: Ahhh, Helen of Troy makes them all. I was wondering how they could get away with that patented shape. I have the Revlon AND the knockoff from China but have only used the latter and I love it. Bed Head one is stiffer and might last longer because my knockoff bristles are worrying me.

Amina Najim: I've been using my babyliss rotating air brush for 11 years now nothing beats it

E. Elsi Bea: @Milabu I know you already do so much when reviewing and it's greatly appreciated. Is their anyway you could incorporate some facts about usability that would also help your viewers that may have some disabilities that makes using these tools a bit more difficult and adaptive? Nobody else does that I've come across and I think you are definitely the person who would be able to wrap your head around these aspects and be able to verbally communicate them. I know that this moment or two extra could mean so much to many viewers who feel forgotten about in the beauty market. Just a few examples of questions to ask are how hard or easy to grip is it, the weight and how it affects usability, and how difficult is reaching around to the back of the head. Thank you so much for your reviews and your possible consideration of this matter. Love, Peace, and Joy to all!

V S: Thank you for these! You have helped me love my hair again while struggling with MS!

Ambie _32085: I have the Hot Tools Charcoal Infused Blowout Brush (Gold) which is amazing for Day 2 hair and I love it But I can’t stop thinking about Lange Le Volume Brush I have this feeling that I should’ve went with that one.. ‍♀️‍♀️

Ashley Marlow: I just ordered the Hot Tools one from Ulta for $39.99! It’s on sale for this price until 11/23.

Dianne Rodriguez: The Revlon Styler is MY favorite tool to use on my hair. I bought it right after watching your video!

marie-sophie bourguignon: I love your videos so helpful thank you! I was wondering the difference between the hot tool and the Dyson in terms of finish results? (Even though it’s not the same price range I know...) xxx

Dean Twitchett: Wow! The hot tools beat TIGI pronounced (TeeGee) I used to stock all the TIGI BedHead products in my salon and they are fantastic products and I was truly hoping for great results of the one step styler but hot tools definitely blew it out of the water! Thank you for sharing these with us Milana! Sending love and prayers to you, Andrey and Emorett ❤️ Xxx

Kristen Caddell: Awesome! Im glad you really loved the Hot Tools bc thats the one I got over the Bed Hed! It was on sale at Ulta plus I was able to use my 20% off coupon! A little over $30 for a $80 hair tool, yes please! your hair is so beautiful! Thanks, love these kinds of videos especially bc I have really thick hair!

Erin C: Love your videos and opinions on tools. Your videos have so much honestly in them.

Danielle Graham: Love this!! I've been holding off on getting the Revlon and now I'm glad! I'll be grabbing the HotTools!! I miss your Hello My Lovlies intro!!! Why don't you say that anymore?! Either way still loving your videos!! <3

Collene Kennedy: I luuuuuve how my hair looks with Revlon styler but dear Gad' that thing gets hot!!!! A hair dresser said no worries about the heat but dang, I wish the high setting was a less hot! Of course I use a hear protective product on hair but anyone else feel this intense heat?!

Ariel Cordova: I just saw this review and I went to Ulta and they have 20$ off from both of the dryers. I got mine :)

Meg Nredd: I have the hot tools one. I love it. Quick dry for my thick hair

andrea samaniego: Please please do a Revlon vs. Hot Tools! I love my revlon, it’s been a total game changer but I’d be willing to try the Hot Tools is if it’s better :)

joy115: I have always loved the Hot Tools products and they last forever!

LisaLisaD1: Thank you for trying these--I was wondering if the Hot Tools would be better, I will have to try it! ❤️ Lisa

Nancy: Recently purchased the Revlon after watching one of your earlier videos. Love it. Think I'll keep it for awhile :).

Arin Rohrbach: That was an excellent comparison. I already have the revlon one so I won’t be buying another one soon buy definitely would buy the hot tools one once it breaks.

Yvonne Rahmes: Yes please COMPARISON WITH DYSON! This is the kind of video I love! If I pay the extra $20 I get to know it's actually better (going to make me feel happier with my hair...). P.S. I bought the Dyson hair dryer last Christmas (it was a HUGE deal re: $) and it CHANGED my whole life and hair care! I couldn't live without it ever again :)

Debbie Sue: Always something better. Thanks for letting us know the best one out there! :)

Rebecca S: I love my Revlon styler but I wish they'd improve a couple things. The top knob is not long enough to hold on to when styling. I constantly burn my fingers. The handle is too big for people w small hands, and when I'm styling the power switch constantly turns to off. Other than that thanks for this video!

Mu Mu: I cut my hair short this year and I'm not sure I'll ever go back to spending 1, 2, 3 hours washing & styling my hair ever again (thick & curly). Now I just run my fingers through it and leave out the door. Watching you dry your hair triggered me LOL So many wasted hours.

Diane Thompson: Thank you! Just saw the bedhead one in Walmart today and wondered how it performed!!

Candice Singleton: I got the bed head for $20 at Walmart! Did wonders for my hair.

ratmgr2: What about the temperatures? I feel like the Revlon gets way too hot. Even on the medium setting, it makes my hair so hot it burns my hand. As much as I love how easy it is to use and get my hair smooth and straight, I feel like it’s damaging my hair.

Deb Kepler: I bought my Revlon after watching your original review and love it. I keep it clean and free of hair but now the bottom, where the cord and air filter are, need to be cleaned and I just can’t get at it with a dry tooth-bush. Can you please do a tutorial video on how to clean the Revlon? Thank you!

Lorna Garcia: I have the Revlon One Step Styler too. I find it gets very hot, so I try use the lower setting. I will continue to use it until it dies out as I have already paid $59.99 + s/h costs.

Julia Wiggs: I'd love to see a side by side of hot tools and Revlon

dgmlmax: I love the idea of these type of dryers. Unfortunately these type of bristles don’t work for my hair type.

A T: The hot tools one the brush head is changeable with other brush sizes! I have really short hair and the 1.5” brush head is a life saver!

cheyenne trujeque: I bought the revlon one for my birthday cause I saw a video of you in a faux add on Pinterest, but you can tell you are using the real one. I can’t wait to use it!

Helen Victoria: I really appreciate your amazing reviews

Aryn Hedrick: The Bed Head one is hands down the best one I have used!

Judi Craig: Hi Malibu, I have the Revlon one and while I enjoy it I find that the heat is a bit much. Even the bristle part of the brush seems to have melted a bit. Do you find that the Hot Tools temp is comparable to the Revlon or different? Thanks!

Athanasia Tsoukalas: Is there any difference in setting options? I feel like the revlon high is too hot and low takes forever to dry my hair.

Keri Hayes: I just purchased the Revlon brush hair dryer. Frickin awesome!! Saved myself a shit ton of money. I was going to buy the Dyson. Not anymore.

Joetta Gonzalez: They look exactly the same to me, but my biggest concern is the heat from the Revlon, which you mentioned in previous videos. Mine gets wicked freakin hot to the point that I even get burned by touching my hair with my fingers immediately after drying a section. I would like to know how hot these two get, if you get a chance.

Lisa Romo: There's a Hair Event going on at Ulta, so the Hot Tools hairdryer is currently on sale for $59.99. The Revlon one is $44.99. BedHead one is $44.99. I also see the Hot Tools 24K gold is on sale too for $56.24. Hmm must check it out, lol. I have a lot of points that I could use. I love my Revlon one but I'm intrigued with using the Hot Tools version.

Casti Salinas: I love your comparison videos! Do you have a video comparing ALL the HOT tool drying brushes?

GAMER GIRL MARS: Your hair looks less frizzy with the Bed Head even though it was more resistant: I still will stick to my Revlon until it dies man. This is the first time I have ever fell in love with a hair dryer. I will never be the same if they stop making it. Haha. I have a few health problems and it is so nice to do blowouts again without the hassle and I can do my whole head in like 7 minutes or so. The Bed Head looks like it has trouble with the root area. I think that is the issue.

adnil1960: I’m in love with my Revlon one step!☺️

Rana Abusaid: Thank you for the review! Needed this.

Zuleide Olivato: Love your reviews, thank you! ❤️

Pikachu7340: My mom had these, it was a conair when there where fairly new. I have good memories of these hair styling dryers.

Jo Marie: Love your reviews! Yes, please to a Hot Tools vs. Dyson comparison.

Lexi C: Just bought the Hot Tools One Step after owning the Revlon one for a long time. Did you find the Hot Tools to be hotter even on the low setting more than the Revlon dryer? I thought maybe I had it on the wrong setting but it was in fact on the low setting. Worried about frying my hair even though it did make it smoother than the Revlon one has. I was a level 4 and now I'm blonde.

Judi Goldfarb: Great I have the Revlon because of you, do you use this today your hair as well? It’s sold at Amazon too

Katie Ethridge: Okay girl, I just bought the hot tools one! This video sold me on it!

Angel Atkinson: Almost got the BED HEAD last night d/t thinking it was a newer model. Glad I waited, thought they were from the same maker. Thanks for the comparison. :)

Forever Young: I just got this today. I have fine hair & tape hair extensions. Total game changer with some macadamia deep repair masque to revive fried hair extensions! :)

J3385: Wish we could get these in Australia! We only have the Amazon knock off versions available.

Laura Seymour: Dyson dried out my 1A, natural, long hair. I really need to flip it because it’s collecting dust. Nothing beats my T3 dryer for smooth, silky hair.

Lovelyellie: You should compare: Revlon, Hot Tools & Hot Shot Tools versions & see how they all differ

large sandwich: I bought the Revlon one but it’s making my hair so flat at the roots. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong!

Nicole Lavigne: Wow. Hot tools on ultra is $106 Canadian, I got my Revlon on sale from Amazon for $45CAN (might have been boxing season sales). Hot tools might be a little better than the Revlon but guarantee it’s not $60 better.

Avril Collins Martinez: And as usual we can’t buy this in Europe, it’d be refreshing to see a styler we can buy here!

Cindy Donnelly: After watching your videos. I bought one! Best dryer I have ever used!! You rock!!

Sydney Sinclair: Ulta has a 20% off coupon and the hot tools one applies!!

Rosanna King: Hi, this has nothing to do with the dryer but Wow your hair has Grown So much in 1 year!!! I've been watching your channel for the past few years and in this past year, it seams like you went from short/med hair to long hair overnight!!! What have you been doing that's made your hair grow so long and so fast? Is it supplements? Is it products? Masks? What's your secret??
