The airwrap, a five hundred and fifty dollar hairstyling kit is Dyson's answer to achieving professional-looking salon-quality hair at home, as you'd expect from dyson the packaging and the products themselves are absolutely gorgeous. You get this nice tan case with a felt interior to protect the product and all of its various accessories. The wand here is it's just a single wand and all of these different attachments actually connect to it. So it's really easy and efficient. So this is the dryer. You have a couple different curling barrels for different size. Curls. You can have three different brushes. These two are more for straightening, and this one here is for cooling. So you get a lot of stuff in here all for a very high price, though the main selling point here is that the air app uses lower heat and the wands internal airflow to style your hair more efficiently, you're supposed to start with the pre styling dryer, Which takes your hair from out of the shower wet to damp and then you're ready to enlist one of the other attachments. There are two different curling barrels: a 1.2 inch version for tighter curls and a 1.6 inch model for looser curls and waves. Dyson gives you 2 of each curling barrel, because the air flowing from the wand blows out from the curling barrels and automatically wraps your hair around it. You need both because they wrap in different directions. This is an intriguing concept, but the barrels and the wands integrated air flow effect didn't always do a good job grabbing. My hair. As someone with layered hair, the air app regularly grabs some hair and mist other pieces, resulting in an odd uneven curl. I regularly had to redo. I also found I had to use less hair than I usually would. The other tools, like the firm smoothing brush, did in fact smooth my thick wavy hair, but it still had some waves and texture, so don't expect it to actually straighten your hair. Like a traditional high heat straightener. In some ways, the air wrap delivers with its attractive, easy to swap attachments, but it's so what's so expensive and not all of the attachments are useful. Even the ones designed more for my hair type took more work than I expected. I would definitely not run out to get this thing instead. Ask if you can test it out in the store ahead of time before you buy, because I don't think it's worth it for most. You

UFC83: Wow an honest and unbiased review. How rare is that!?

Judge Ryan: It didn’t appear that she held the hair in the right position to attach it to the curler. Hold your hair about 10 cm away from the end, then position the end of the hair close to the curler and it will attach. Don’t try to attach the hair by holding the ends with your fingers and manually placing it directly on the curler. There is a slight learning curve but it’s easy to get the hang of it. You’ll also just have to play with how damp your hair should be until you figure out what works best for your hair type to get it to attach. Also all the tools are meant to be used on damp hair, the straightening brush would of done a better job if the hair had more moisture and possible if the sections were combed from underneath the hair to add more tension.

Harla Wood: That’s outrageously priced! Great review! I use the Calista brand that is similar and it works great and much, much less expensive!

Millie Ashworth-Hughes: it would work better on your layers if you sectioned it off first, then it wouldn't grab the bits you didn't want it to

Dani P: Please watch Dyson’s tutorials before critiquing. I love mine, and by following their directions, it’s been a breeze to use.

Ada S: According to official instructions, you suppose to hold your hair like 2 inches from the end then it sucks the hair perfectly. It works well for me though

The Whisperer: I don’t understand why people don’t section the hair when using the curling barrel? And her hair looked to dry which is why she struggled to get the hair on the barrel.

Cassis Vermillion: Nice blind hands-on talk shoot. Shoot an extensive and detailed actual review once you actually know how to use the product. Oh! I mean if and when you get the time for it. The person seemed awfully busy to invest time for this. Thanks CNET

Keith Rogers: It’s worth noting that every single review for a Dyson product that CNET puts out there is always negative. It’s starting to feel like someone at CNET has a vendetta against Dyson... I bought my girlfriend an Airwrap, and she’s absolutely in love with it. Works as advertised. Definitely helps that she read the instructional guide and follows directions ;)

Dan Dela Cruz: yes, more consumer product reviews please.

Carol: Thanks for your honest review

Oriana F.: Thank you. Great honest review.

MrsKramper: She is lovely and I appreciate the review, but she’s doing this completely, incorrectly. Watching her with the smoothing paddle brush just about gave me a heart attack, lol!

Miss marie Shea: It doesn't really like you used it correctly - based on what I have seen; you didn't even section your hair. Probably should test it out again so we can really see a comprehensive look at it!

Wonderpierrot: Don't care about the styler, just came here for Megan. ❤️

zunedog31: The greatest thing about Dyson is that they have no idea what kind of company they are and haven't known for the last decade.

Jennifer Hakimian: thanks for your honesty

jake liu: good review!

Paul Ho: Dyson not worth the money? Never!

joy sy: i love the honesty!

Jenn Brown: I have purchased this so called air wrap today and hoping to make a video of it very soon, so if anyone is interested, just subscribe to my channel if you’d like to see my review or take on it. Thank you!

Samuel.S: Dyson should quit vacuums and go to hair stuff

Litlj1943: Thanks for saving me a lot of money.

Porschea M: But... you’re doing it wrong.

raffaele rimorso: dyson is top

Sheev Palpatine: Try read the instructions first

Tup: I was using a dyson hair dryer into my mouth in Korea and got kicked out

Gerami Brown: Make a flat iron

Ash Akim: Dyson's mistake: not including a sectioning clip.

Candice Sterling: Oh great, so let’s fully exclude Afro textured hair then!! Thanks Dyson!

Rob _: You are a saint.

Patryk Wieczorek: Time to sell my kidney... and probably a part of my liver...

Noob Noob: Good luck engineering for women.

JM: Why would you put your huge logo up at the end and block the actual curl the product made? Since I couldn’t see the results, your video is rendered useless.

Fandy Diadline: Thank God, I'm a little boy.

Drake Drones: I am not going to purchase this item, coz I dont have the money. BUTTTTTT.......You did a very very very sloppy job in using the item! Looks like many youtubers just want to set out and pulling the item down coz of the price.

Instyle Red: Agree

JogBird: h o l y expensive

Patti DelMercado: What idiots actually spent $550.00 on a hair tool? My gosh.......set your hair dryer on low or cool. A complete waste of money.

Maicon Junior: How much? Argos mate!

Eli Johnson: SECTION YOUR HAIR BECKY! JFC!

Erik: 5 5 0 $ ? ? ? ! ! ! D A F U Q ? !

Salvador Lomeli: Not great bang per buck

Luis Gonzalez: Isn’t CNET’s audience like 97% male
