Hello, everyone i'm back with what might just be my most highly requested, video ever and i'm so excited, because today's video is in partnership with dyson, so they're relaunching their highly sought after super popular award-winning, airwrap styler. So i want to share how to create three different looks using this tool. So there's these big voluminous curls, i shared a really easy, smooth blowout and the perfect beachy waves for summer. All right, let's get started okay for the first hairstyle. It is my favorite, my go-to, and that is big voluminous curls now before we can go in with the curling attachments. I do need to just pre-dry my hair to about 80 percent. You can let your hair air dry, but if i did that my hair would be so frizzy, it is incredibly humid outside. So pre-drying, for me, is a must okay, so i'm gon na go in with the pre styler attachment. It looks like this and it clips on nice and easy very satisfying, and this has three fan settings and three heat settings. I will be using high speed and high heat, and you just use this like you, would a blow dryer. So a helpful tip is focus. The air, mostly on your roots as they take the longest to dry, so just lift up the root and get right underneath, especially around your neck area, all right. So i think this is about 80 percent dry and i always get asked. How do you know and that's such a good question, so your hair will look mostly dry, but when you touch it, it'll feel cool to the touch because it still has moisture in it, and this will give you the best results. So there are two sizes of barrels: there is the 1.2 inch, this one's smaller and it's great. If you have shorter hair, maybe you want a more defined curl, maybe you're prepping your hair for an updo. It'S also really great for beachy waves, which i will be showing you next and then there's the 1.6 inch barrel. This is my favorite barrel. This will create those big voluminous, curls, they're, less defined, and one of the questions i always had about the air wrap is: does it work on long hair, so one second it does. They have introduced these longer barrels which are perfect for long hair. You can see what a difference that is. Okay, i'm going to section off my hair just above my ears, and let's do this all right. So, let's unclip this attachment, you just pull this down pop it off and then i'm going to attach the 1.6 inch barrel with the arrows pointing to the right i'm going to start on the right side so that all the curls go away. From my face, all right so just grab like a two to three inch section, the same size you grab as if you were curling your hair with a curling iron and just pull out your section. You just want to leave like two to three inches of hair. At the end, a little tail like this, and then you just turn on your dryer and introduce your ends to the arrows it'll. Do all the work for you and then you just bring it towards your head without any twisting, and then i hold it for about 10 to 15 seconds and then the next step is key. So push up the power button to activate that cold shot and leave. This for about 10 seconds - and this will just really help lock in that curl and then power it off and gently release your curl and look at that. How cool right, okay, i'm going to do another section, so you can see, and yes this is as fun as it looks. I love it all right for curls. You want to use high heat and high speed now, since this has an intelligent heat control, you don't have to worry about it, burning your hair. It actually measures the temperature up to 40 times per second, which is crazy, so it really helps to minimize heat damage. All right, i'm going to switch to the other side, so i'm going to take out that barrel. I want the one with the arrows pointing to the left for the left side pop that on all right. So this bottom section is done. I don't want to touch my curls too much, but i really love how like soft and effortless they are, and they are so quick. Typically i'd still be blow drying, my hair at this point, so i love that it just dries and styles it. At the same time, all right so next i'm going to section my hair off at my temples and you don't have to work in sections. I just find it the easiest and if you have any of those stubborn flyaways, you can just use your hand to smooth them down at the root. You know what at first, i was worried about using the airwrap. I thought it was going to suck in my hair, but you don't have to worry, because this is the kawanda effect which actually wraps your hair around the barrel using air. So don't have to worry about it, sucking in your hair. It'S super gentle. I truly can't get over how quick this is it's amazing and when you're curling your hair, if you find that your hair is slipping off the barrel, it's not staying on, there's a good chance that your section is too large, so just try grabbing a smaller one. Last curl on this side, look at that, so that's it for this layer just going to move on up so once i reach my part, i like to bring the barrel nice and close to the root, and i find this just gives the hair a lot of Lift so if you like a lot of volume, then i'd give this a try. You know what just might be my favorite thing about this. Is it only takes one hand? I just text my mom back. You can scroll on social media, it's seriously, so freeing all right. So i'm going to move on to the top section. I just curl it the exact same way and then i'll show you how i do my bangs all right. My bangs, if we can even call these bangs, they are so grown out right now, but all i do is divide them into two and i'm gon na start with this back section here and just curl it away from my face and we're done. No, i'm just kidding okay, you could leave it like this, but i'm just gon na let my hair cool for a couple more minutes and then i'll show you how to transform it. Okay, are you ready for the transformation so either take a wide tooth comb or your fingers will work great? I just want to gently break up these curls, so that's it. I love how like soft and voluminous these curls are they look really natural and pretty? I have so much volume up on the top. What do you think, but i've been wearing my hair like this on instagram and i've been getting so many compliments and questions asking what curler did i use and now i can finally tell you it's the dyson all right, i'm going to go ahead dampen my hair. I know and let's move into the next hairstyle - i really think you're going to love it. It'S so quick and easy all right. Next hairstyle is a very quick and easy smooth blowout. This is my go-to hairstyle when i'm a little bit shorter on time, but i still want to look put together all right, so start with wet hair and i'm going to be going in with the soft smoothing brush. I love this attachment. It is so easy to use and it gives you such beautiful results. So there's the one with pink tips, which is great for fine to medium hair. Hello, that's me and then there's the one with gray tips. This is the firm smoothing brush, and this is great if you have like medium to coarse hair, all right. So, let's put this on and are you ready for magic, i'm going to use high heat, high speed and you're going to see how quickly this dries? My hair, so all you do - is just brush your hair and similar to the last hairstyle. You just want to focus most of the heat on your roots because they take the longest to dry, but the smoothing brush attracts hair to its surface, while blowing air down the strand, and it creates a nice smooth finish. The kind of finish that i only get when i get my hair done at the salon, but go ahead, work in large sections just brush through your hair. Oh and quick note: these bristles are nice and flexible. So if you have any like stubborn knots, you can just gently brush through them, but i would definitely recommend using a detangler if your hair is tangly before going in with this okay. So my hair is probably like 90 dry and if you want to get a little bit more lift at your root. Just take the section near your part, and you can just place this brush right underneath and just kind of hold it there. For a couple of seconds and then hit it with the cold shot to lock in the volume, so this is how my hair looks. I love it. It'S so soft and like look at that shine, but this is my favorite kind of straight like it still has body and volume, and i love the ends they have this like soft bend in them because of the brush's shape. I just think it looks really soft and pretty oh and the best part typically to get my hair to look like this would take like at least 45 minutes and i'm not even kidding. This took like maybe 15., it's magic all right. Last but not least, really beautiful, natural beachy waves and i'm going to share with you a new technique with the barrels so for curls you want to start off with damp hair. My hair is currently too wet, so i'm going to go in with the pre-styler and just quickly dry, my hair, similar to how i did it with the first hairstyle. So i'm just going to be focusing most of the heat on my roots. Since i take the longest to dry all right, so this is probably good. My hair is like 70 to 80 dry looks dry, but when you touch it, it's cool to the touch. So this is going to give you the best results all right. So i'm going to section off my hair above my ears: you don't have to section off your hair. These are beachy waves, so the less perfect, the better. I just find it easier so for bg waves, i'm going to use the 30 millimeter long barrel. I love this one because it creates a tighter wave and it just looks really beautiful, so we're going to be using the airwrap like a wand, it's really cool and when you flip it upside down, you just want to make sure that the arrows are going away From your face, all right so grab like a one to two inch section. You can definitely alternate the sizes as well. I'M just going to toss all the wet hair behind my shoulder goodbye, all right, so turn it upside down, and you just want to wrap your hair around the barrel. Just like you would a curling wand, and you want to make sure that your hair is nice and flat so that it evenly dries all right and for beachy waves. I like to use high speed, but medium heat then hold it here for about 10 to 15 seconds, and you can touch your hair to see. If it's dry, you don't have to worry, it's not going to burn you and then hit it with the cold shot. Always cold shot for about 10 seconds, and this will just lock in the curl alright turn it off and release your wave. Look at that. It'S truly that easy, okay, resist touching it and i'm gon na show you one more time all right same idea wrap it. So the hair is nice and flat all the way down your barrel and then turn it on. Also, if you find that your ends are drying faster than the rest of your hair, you can just remove them off of the barrel, while the rest of the hair dries the best part right. The reveal look at that all right, so they're super curly. Looking right now, but you just want them to set so resist touching them and at the end i'll show you how to fluff them out and make them a little beachier all right. So i'm going to go to the other side and don't forget to switch out your barrel all right, so the bottom section is done. I love how soft and natural these curls look they're, so beautiful. I can't believe that the air wrap dries and styles at the same time like this is going to be turned into this with one tool so cool all right. Now i'm going to section my hair off at my temples and i find it most helpful to keep all of your wet hair behind your shoulders all right so for this section i'm going to do it a little bit different. So what i'm going to do is i'm still going to curl all the hair, that's framing my face away from my face and then i'm going to curl the rest of the hair on this side. Towards my face. I like to do this because i find that stacking, the curls in different directions will just give you so much volume there. It is, and you can see how these curls stack on top of one another versus becoming one curl. So this really helps to add volume, and you could also alternate the types of curls, so you could use your airwrap as a wand and then for the next curl. You could use it to make a curl like i did in the first hairstyle and i think that'd be really beautiful, there's so many different options of what you can do. Oh and you can also alternate the size of the section that you're grabbing. To give you an even more natural look, especially if you have shorter hair play around with the different sizes and it'll look really beautiful all right, so this curl is going to go towards my face, and i don't know if i mentioned this, but the reason why I'M wrapping the hair versus curling it like i did on the first hairstyle is. This is going to give you more of a wave versus a defined curl. Look at that look, how shiny it leaves my hair too, so nice all right. So i'm going to unclip my hair and just move on up my head, i'm just going to curl the rest of my hair away from my face and then i'll check back in when i get to my bangs, alright. So for this front section, what i like to do is start my at about eye height. So if you have a center part, you can do the same thing with those pieces that are framing your face. I just think it looks really flattering and i'm only going to hold it on for about 10 seconds, because i wanted to have a softer curl see how that falls like so nice and soft. So i'm going to let this sit just for like another minute or two, and then you could go ahead spray it with some hairspray. If you need it and then we're going to brush up these curls all right, the best part, let's fluff up these curls just by gently pulling on the outside of the curls, to loosen them up. Okay, so i love the way that these curls look except for this piece. I really regret only holding it for 10 seconds now, but it works out, because i can show you how i like to touch up my curls throughout the week without rewashing, my hair. So just take any sections that have fallen out. Take a water bottle, just give it a light. Mist just work it through make sure every strand feels cool to the touch all right, and then i'm just going to take this section and re-curl it much better. All right, so that's it! I love how these bg waves turned out, they're, just so soft and natural looking, and they look even more beautiful the next day, but whether you already own the dyson. Are you thinking about purchasing it? I really hope that you found this video helpful. You can find even more information on dyson.com about the airwrap and the new attachments, so i'll leave the link in the description below, but thank you so much for watching. If you liked today's video, please give it a thumbs up and i'll talk to you all next time. Bye,

Alex Gaboury: I’ve been sneakily using + testing the Dyson Airwrap for the past month to help make this video as helpful as possible. I hope you found this video useful, and I’d love if you shared some of your Airwrap tips below, and how you use this tool to style your hair.

* Annie *: Amazing tutorial! This is actually what convinced me to buy the airwrap, and the video is a very helpful guide. I absolutely love your channel. All of your videos are so well made and your background and lighting quality is so gorgeous! And your hair, fashion sense, and makeup are all so goals. Your hair content is so amazing and helpful, but I would love to see more lifestyle and beauty content, such as day in my life videos, a house tour, a q and a, a current favorites video, or a closet try on. Another suggestion would be a week of your hair routine. Like how you preserve your hair style for multiple nights, your haircare routine, and a week of hairstyles.

Sally Stone: Beautiful tutorial. Your hair is incredible. I love to curl and flatten my hair but worry about the damage from heat. This dyson styler appears to be much safer and guards against overheating the hair.

Beverly Ann: This is the best tutorial by far that I've watched. Thank you so much. I just purchased my AirWrap and love the packaging, OMG. My husband is loving my new looks here and so am I. You did a great job and I can't wait to try my brush now for the next style I do. Game Changer.

GabrielleXfly: I love this tool! Gives me volume and life to dull hair. After a few uses I got really fast with the tool and figured out how to make the most of it with some products as well. A curling iron would destroy my hair by now if id have used it every single time, as I did with this airwrap thing. But I bought mine before they had the long barrels tho :(

Cherie Connell: Hi Alex! This is actually my first ever YouTube comment I only discovered your channel the other week and it’s been life changing! I realised I had been wearing my hair the same ways for a very long time. I have a little 4 year old girl who loves hair and I wanted to learn new tricks to teach and inspire her. We have had so much fun learning your styles. I can’t believe how easy the French twist was! I practicality screamed! Anyways I have a very old pair if ghd straighteners, an old hair dryer....so I was flicking through your vids the other day to see if you made any recommendations on heat tools. So this video is gold. I’m going to go invest! Thank you so much for the love you put into your videos. Much love from NZ x

Debra Coe: Out of all the videos regarding the Dyson Airwrap yours was the most informative and helpful! I love the Dyson Airwrap. Finally a tool that really does dry your hair and curl it.

Gina Cirelli: Thank you so much for this video. I've never heard of this tool until now and you've convinced me to try it! I've had tailbone length hair for about twenty years now, and it's hard to find videos for styling very long hair. I usually air dry but of course that's not the greatest during the winter.

aaliyah barker: Just got mine for christmas! Thanks for this tutorial. Super helpful ❤️

Frankie White: WOW... It is my absolute *dream* to partner up with Dyson one day! The beachy waves is probably my favourite look but I love them all. You're smashing it Alex xx

Skylar Griego: This was a thorough and helpful tutorial video. I love that you broke down exactly every step and the reason you do it and gave time estimates and everything. Also you are beautiful! Thank you so much for this excellent video!

Yvette Christina: So informative, clear and simple instruction and I definitely will be getting this. Thanks so much, you look amazing btw ❤️

Steve Bolton: You can certainly do wonders with your hair with this Dyson styler, no doubt you’ll be a great influence to many ladies with this video? How nice the finished products look.

Noor Allawati: Just got myself the airwrap and tried it on my mum! We looove it! I cant wait to try your tips

Peggy S.: I just purchased the Dyson Soap styler, after contemplating for about 4 months... Game changer!!! I love it!! Hopefully i can get the longer barrels with a little discount! Thanks for your video it was helpful!!!

Kristina Bertrand: Love all these beautiful hairstyles Alex love to see more!!!❤️

A. Rosa-Gonzalez-Avila: I love my Dyson Air Wrap… it’s the best beauty purchase I have ever made!! I never use curling irons or straighteners as they damage your hair so much. I usually dry the hair with any of the brushes then use the curling barrels… put my hair in pin curls over night and the curls last all day without any hair products in the hair as I hate hair products in my hair. If it’s humid outside the curls may fall but that only happens on very humid days.

tabykatt: I am so glad I watched your video on this tool. I had watched several that were very negative as well as extremely lazy in their demonstrations. Good to see they added the longer barrels for long hair. I thought the others were too short. Your video has changed my mind. Price is super high, so it's all going to depend on if they include those attachments. The blow dryer is a plus and also another reason why I waited. Great video, good job. why so many down votes? Jealousy much? Lol have a great day.

dcsx: How long does it take to do all of your hair? Do you dry it at all ahead of time?

Kristina Didenko: Hi Alex! I’ve been wondering how long do these curls last?

Natalie 'Kitty' Lane: Alex, could you do a tutorial on the round brush attachment please - it’s the one I’d love to know how to use more effectively xx

Bigcat Angelina: Thanks for your demonstration. So easy to follow. But how to keep the curls lasting for a whole day?

Priscila Bee: I love my airwrap, i've been using for one month and my hair is getting so much healthier! One negative though, is that pushing and holding the cold shot is more cumbersome then i thought it would be. My only regret is not buying it earlier!!! I'm actually saving money in hair products now that my hair is healthier.

Renee Lucido: After watching your video, I decided to buy it, I just received it and look forward to trying it. I wanted to ask you, do you find that your curls hold better with this tool than others? Do you usually use hair spray? I hate using products in my hair after I've washed it, but it mine could look like yours, I think I'd do it

Dear x Jomi: Very helpful, I just got my dyson complete and can't wait to use it

Audrey Hritz: How long do the curls stay? Do they seem to last longer , shorter, or about the same than other curlers?

Alaina Bilow: I would love the elapsed time after each style. Great video!

GabrielleXfly: Ok, so to all my hesitant ladies. I was to. First 2-3 times I was not as happy with the results. But now I have been using it every single time I wash my hair and it's fast now and looks great! I wash my hair 2 times a week tho. The curls last only about 1 and a half day, but the waves r there until the next wash! Also, it dries my hair at the same time, I do not pre-dry it at all. My pony tail looks so good and voluminous as well. I use the curlers and the brushes depending on what I want, but 90% of the time I curl it. I...love...it. And i am no big spender on 1000 different things either. My old hairdryer i have had for years and rarely did curls before this since my hair gets ruined quite fast. Ask me anything, I asked others as well:)

luxuryandlipgloss: Thank you thank you!! I just ordered one and I'm so excited to use it :) Your video was definitely the push for me to order it ;)

xoxo_nathalie: I‘m so excited and happy you upload it do you have a tip how to get the curls to last for a longer period of time I have the dyson airwrap since christmas and they only hold for 2-3 hours, I also have similar hair length and thikness

wanderingwithyan: This was awesome, thanks for sharing all the diff ways we can use the airwrap styler! Hello from Australia!

Karyna Vyshemirska: A Very nice video! Thank you! I have short and pretty straight hair. I tried to do curls with dyson airwrap but they disappear so quickly on my hair. I don’t know if I can do something differently to keep the curls for longer time. I don’t want to put huge amount of fixing cosmetics for that, just a bit of something. Do you have any recommendations for this type of hair ?

SpazyAzy's Art: I love them all! I love the beachy look!

Lynn Tailor: This was so helpful! Thank you

Alison Page: Hi Alex, love the video but why do you turn the styler upside down for some styles?

Yasmin M: So lovely to see you again, Alex! You’re looking so beautiful and healthy. You’re so adorable. Dyson products are really innovative aren’t they, even though they cost an arm and a leg! Lots of love and keep well

Pamela Atwood: I’ve had the Dyson Airwrap for about 7 months now and I love it. The package I have doesn’t have the two longer words. Can they be bought separately? I watch all your videos and save them. My hair is just a little shorter than yours but I’ve done fine with the short barrels. I love that my hair doesn’t get caught in the wand. I guess if I had the longer wand that I could get my hair done more quickly. Nice to see you back.

Monalida: Been debating buying this but wondering if the long barrels still work for shorter hair? I currently have long hair but every now and then I cut my hair to my shoulders!

nicole: Does the set come with the long barrels now or do I need to buy those separately?

Christa Kraayeveld: I Love My Dyson! ♥ Great TIP: Let the wet hair behind, on your shoulders, thanks!

Nikki Richey: How do you prep your hair? Like what products do you like to use when using the dyson air wrap?

Tracy Schofield: In order to use the correct barrel, do you look at it in the mirror to see which way the arrows go or are you just looking at it not in the mirror? I’m a bit confused as to which barrel to use on which side. Thank you.

dressart: Thanks for the inspiration with Airwrap! Do you actually need the long version for your length?

Donna cole-smith: Huge help!!! Thank you!

nuran gunay: Your hair is beautiful, it's the most useful video I've watched, it's a product I've been following for months, but its price is close to 2 minimum wages in my country, so every time I see it, I get upset because I can't buy it. :( I hope your videos reach more audiences on your behalf.

Beatriz Sandoval: I bought the air wrap last week and even though I loved the way my hair came out the 2 times I’ve used it my hair only looks good the same day I use it. The next day is not soft. I need to keep playing with it and find the best products to apply on my hair.

reagan dodson: this is so helpful! thank you!

Chels Xu: Very lovely and useful! Big thank

Frederick Carr: Hi Alex. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the second Hairstyle!! Smooth and Straight!! Your Hair looked ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and PHENOMENAL!! SOFT SILKY SEXY and DEFINITELY SHINY HAIR!! Your Hair is HEALTHY FULL OF BODY AND BOUNCE AND DEFINITELY SHINES LIKE SILK!! LOVE YOU ALOT ALWAYS!! OX!! OX!! OX!! OX!!

s k: will the shorter length barrels (the ones that come with it originally,) work with long hair?

Kelly Dozier: I love love your hair styles. I'm loving my Dyson so far but still getting the jist of how to use it.

Antima Joshi: How long the curls hold on ???

Roja: Amazing bomb hair! Alex, please do a tutorial of your haircut or styling them, especially your bangs. I have a big forehead too, which makes my hair look so thin and flat. Covering them would help me show off my voluminous hair and is simply stylish too, right! This will be super helpful thanks!

MissE Mc: I was really hoping since they have the longer barrels now we could purchase the wrap system with those barrels included, instead of the short ones... But sadly the system only comes with the regular shorter length and you have to spend even more money if you have long hair. ‍♀️ Maybe in the future??

Nikki S: Does the brush work on dry hair and straighten the hair? Thanks

OORVOKKI: Thank you very much for very good tutorial. I just bought airwrap.

Athanasia Tsoukalas: Where do you get the longer barrels?

大好き日本文化: Nice reviewing of hair styling tools❦ Elegant and lovely hairstyle❥

Kirsty Black: How do your curls stay in? I have fine hair, and find that they just drop out with the airwrap.

Elizabeth Yates: Sooo stunning love you have such a puré beauty, loved all the styles!

Johanna Butler: May I ask where you got your blouse from? It’s lovely Ps. Thank you for the great video!

Lihong Hicken: How many long hair Barrell does it come with? And what is it called?

Kris D: Are the longer barrels sold separate ?

Aurora Morquillas: Gran vídeo me encanta.. Muchas gracias.. Desde España

Cynthia Park: Hi how can I get the longer barrels for my long hair?

Heather Moore: This is the best how-to for Dyson Air wand!

Christel Koeplin Cloud: Thank you for this tutorial...I really want to find a link to your sleek white spray bottle too...So far I haven't found where you've shared it ;)

Seema Gupta: any particular products you recommend for styling?

Renee Crotty: mine arrived in the mail today! just used it

Kelly Moore: MAGIC!!! I’m buying this!!

mrsmoniqueolivia: Thank you for the review!! Where can I find the longer barrels? I have looked on the company website and can’t find them. The product in your link doesn’t seem to be the long barrels.

E Valle: I wish i had money for the air wrap so beautiful

Lilly Sue: I would like to see your hair 15 minutes oder 1 day AFTER styling

JC: Thanks Alex, you look amazing no matter what you do. I understand the video is in partnership with Dyson. Still, is there anything you didn’t like about the product? Just looking for some balanced commentary, I am inclined to purchase this. Thanks

Anna Z-E: How do you put your hair together for a night time? Up bun? Braid?

Ashley B: Whenever I use it, I always end up sucking up hair that I don't mean to. It like grabs the old curls too. Ugh I'll keep practicing

Tut Secret: mine gets these curls with any curler, the question is how long it last, mine the curl vanishes after 30 minutes. the only way to hold the curls is using the small 0ld fashion plastic roller, the grandma and use the blue product from sally, then curls are gorgeous, Shirley temple and last 1 day. all the other rollers, curlers do not work for me.

lynda harrison: Ok so I really really want this. Beautiful

Starlissa T: How loud is it compared to a hair dryer?

Sylvia Tolan: Do you have to keep Power Button pressed up for cool down?

Angie Bee: Can it burn you? Like if it should touch your ear, would that hurt, please?

Mousumi's Cooking Den: This is so nice.
