Hi and welcome back to another vintage game. Let'S play this is Barbie magic, hair, styler from 1997. Another game I absolutely loved as a kid. This one is divided into four parts, since there are four dolls you can choose from, and in this part I do Keira. So make sure you give this video a like subscribe for more vintage game. Let'S play hi, I'm Barbie welcome to Barbie magic hair styler choose any of us to makeover first, alright, so here we can choose from Barbie Teresa Kyra and Kristi. I always really liked Kyra. When I was little, I just really liked black hair. Now I really like red hair, but when I was growing up, I loved black hair, I loved Pocahontas. I wished that I had black hair so badly, so we're gon na start with Kyra hi, I'm Kyra, you can choose a special event: costume party dream date, wedding or career okay, so the four categories - costume party, dream date, wedding or courier. What would Kyra do Kyra? She looks like she'd, be business savvy, we're gon na go with courier. You can help me get ready for work. This is the salon you can style. My hair by clicking on the comb. Do my makeup by clicking on the lipstick or add accessories by clicking on the necklace all right? So, let's start with hair. This is the hair cutting tray. You can cut my hair straight or at an angle, and you can grow my hair to see how it looks even longer. So this isn't a hair grow tool. This makes their hair longer. We can cut it straight or we could do an angled cut like that. That kind of looks cool for her, but let's see what else it was our first fabulous in the rotating trip, curls waves, long and straight this trace girls, ops that are actually think it would scroll. I think you know what I thought there are options with bings. Oh there we go, did she have bangs? I really I remember doing this when I was little and just leaving them like that. What does an angled banker look like I don't know, do you be like the babe? Do we not want babes things were in in the 90s? Maybe we should leave it excellent and we'll do kind of an angled. That'S right, or should we do one of those super fashionable uneven cuts like that? Okay, well grow it out a little bit like this and we'll do gosh darn it. Why are these 90s games so complex? Okay? Is that even I think that's even that looks this is career category right, so that looks business chic! Okay! Now, let's go to the hairbrush up here. This is the hairstyling tray. You can brush my hair Carol, it you brush it. I remember this. This is fun yeah! You can't daddy things. Yes, do we like that or do we like them? If they're gon na be side bangs, they need to be that looks beautiful, okay, then maybe we can do it. It makes them too short. When they're swept like that, though, why? Why can't I have long side? Bangs, like in real life, hmm, do we like like this. I think I like it like that. Okay, no, no and then we could curl it girl, everything. No, it's just not her and there's no way to undo this. Is there their way done? Do this? Okay! No, that's rotating them. Oh No burn it. Okay, I like that on her grade. That looks me super super 90s. This one and this one. Oh, my gosh side pony side braid. Rather this is the side pony with the scrunchie. Oh, my gosh pony tail pigtails sailormoon pick tails poetic, okay, I you know I like it the way we had it. I wish there was a way to just undo everything that looks beautiful and I think I liked it with it. Okay, angled cut. Here we go again, I swear. There was a way to just remember it back to what you previously had. Okay said even close enough, she can't go to work with uneven hair. The lint good good, okay Barbie says it's excellent, so it's excellent and I liked it better with the just the long straight bangs like that yeah it works that works for her okay, hair color. I feel like we have to keep it black. That'S why I picked her. That'S her signature, hair color that Cup or we can go crazy, platinum, blonde dog spread on her. Actually, I think we'll keep everyone with their original hair color. Maybe we'll give her some spunk, though oh, not that much spunk see her stripes. Oh gosh, I'm blue, blue and black hair looks so pretty. Maybe we'll do that. I just know I mean to be fair. 90S chunky highlights. They were a thing back then you know right, okay, so we'll just how do you get rid of them? Oh, okay. Okay, good um, I'm happy with that. We'Ll give her some makeup. Don'T worry! We'Re gon na do one crazy one at least one crazy one, but this is this is the career category? We have the costume party category to be crazy. So, let's see oh there's that blue, I can't wait to use that later. I remember that one fabulous beautiful that come here. Why does this trace grow the wrong direction? I don't remember it doing this. Okay, let's just keep this peak, and that looks it's pretty. This is such a such an important decision, I'm just crumbling under the pressure that one's good I think, or that one or this one, which one is work appropriate. I think that one looks good, we'll stick with that. One all right - and these are highlights. Oh no they're for your lips. I thought this was a cheek highlight huh. They didn't have that yet back then! Okay, so do we want sparkly or kind of a cream lip or matte? I think that this is the eye shadow tray, and this is where things can go awry very quickly with the 90s. I shadow that wasn't blendable back then it was probably blendable, but nobody just nobody did it. You know um, let's see blue and then you can click to build it cute. Okay, purple! Is there just a really like neutral color for her? Maybe this one, it's almost to neutral, gave her some pink. Okay! Thank you, honey! No creamy! I mean she's going to work, we'll leave it like that. We'Ll just try to be as realistic as possible here. Here'S the cheeks can give them little tattoos. I'M sure her office will love that one I'll get rid of that one. This is blush color whoa. All over blush very fair, I kind of like that. I'M fair skinned, but I kind of like that. I kind of like that. I think I think that's pretty okay! Well, you know it like that and then jewelry accessory salon. Alright, do we leave the dark eyes? We want green eyes great yours, I like that. Okay and I feel like she does need glasses, where the work-appropriate glasses, no great color, possibly okay, I kind of like that one she looks like she could be. What is she see? Is she a scientist or like a social worker? I don't know, I think she works in a job that requires just like high analytical thinking, alright, we'll leave it like that and we'll go to jewelry. This is the jewellery pearls very kind of classic okay. I mean I'm of the philosophy that if you were a necklace you don't wear earrings. Usually I mean you can make some exceptions. That depends on the pieces really, but usually, if I wear one thing, I won't wore the other. You know kind of like the old philosophy. If you wear a really heavy eye makeup, you go light on the lipstick, which seems to have gone out the window. These days, but hey it's fun, it's what else. Okay believe it at that and then here's the career section. Oh okay, great! I forgot about this. What did we make her she's? Not any of these things? No a pencil! Oh! No, that, oh, that took off her glasses started um. She could have a headset that seems to that kind of works. Can you have a headset and the glasses, though she's? Not a police officer, we can make Theresa police officer, know we're doing a different category for her okay. So I like the headset, but I want the glasses back there we go. Oh, my gosh is perfect. What is she she? What requires a headset and, besides McDonald's, she a pilot she's just on the phone, a lot she's, probably just on the phone, a lot? Okay, I like it. I don't member what this does we're gon na click. It are you sure you want to start over. No not yet okay cute, I think she looks adorable okay, that takes a picture and puts it somewhere. I hope, oh - and this is like a recap, video, a great visit to the salon. You can see all the great looks you created for me. While I get ready what a beautiful morning, it's going to be a great day at work today, oh my gosh cute, she even has her head set on before she gets to work. I love that adorable. I always did these are my favorite categories? Oh, oh, it's so hard. What do I pick? What do I pick? Is this her wedding? We'Ll do dream date, we'll do dream date. That'S what I want to do. You can help me get ready for my dream date. This is the salon. Now. Is this a dream date with Ken, or is this a dream date with somebody pre Ken there? We go all right, um, oh my dick. I really wish we could have the lake side swept bangs, but they just need to be a little bit longer great. Ok, let's see this game needs to be more specific, a dream date. What kind of dream date my dream date is fishing and I would wear my hair a certain way for that versus a dream date doing something else. Don'T get me wrong, I'm into the fancy restaurant dream dates too by all means: let's not exclude those! Well, that's very 50s! I don't hate that cut it a little bit shorter. Do you like that? Oh what a great hairstyle before we can do. This though we need to decide what her dream date is, give me want it to be a classic dream date, or do we want it to be a little edgy? I think maybe her dream date is riding on the back of her dates. Motorcycle right. So, let's give her a little spunk shall we so? Where can i make barbie a redhead with red, streaks or blue streaks? I mean she's, a motorcycle girl. We'Ve got to make our fun they're finally kind of like that. Okay. So now, let's do her makeup. I wish you could change her dress cuz. Now the purple doesn't really go with the motorcycle theme. Okay, so we're gon na go with something bolder for her to me. Want purple that, let's see red orange, I just really want to use that what a motorcycle girl wear - glitter, maybe yeah on a motorcycle date - um, let's see red and we'll do some a little bit more subdued eyes to apply great. No, I want this one to be very bombshell, we'll give her a smokey eye there. We go build it, so it's very smoky, okay, blush didn't use the tan one yet or do we make a really fair? I mean she does have red hair, we'll leave it at that one umm heavy blush or no blush heavy brush I'll just do a little a little bit. I'Ve never had luck with blush. No honestly, okay! Well, just no blush for her, although it looks like she's got a little bit of blush, naturally on her own okay and we didn't do green eyes yet and the green eyes looks beautiful at the red hair see and the dream date accessories. This is the special dream date tray. You can choose my special date. Excellent. I love it. I love that choker. I kind of want one of those for myself and then Sailor Moon earrings. Should we make her match crowns motorcycle clean I'll, see she eats. We let her match her necklace or should do we like the moons, the pressure to match we're going with the moon's cool okay picture oops. No, I left her crown. I left her crown on go so no I mean, I guess, that's not a bad thing, but we won't overdo it just yet picture and let's go what a great visit to the salon. First, okay: now, let's do Teresa hi, I'm Teresa. You can choose a special event: costume party dream date, wedding or career. Let'S do wedding, but this is not gon na, be your conventional wedding will say this isn't Teresa's wedding, but this is her friend's wedding, she's gon na be a guest and they're just a little unconventional. That'S all nothing wrong with that right. Alright, so nuts, like everyone, wants me to white with blue streaks yeah red with blue streaks white. I kind of like that. That'S kind of fun, but we'll do this. We made we made Barbie have red hair will make Teresa have blonde. This is that there are two all right, so we want to do that. Weird uneven thing that looks perfect yeah, just like a really edgy fashionable one side will be angled. One side will be straight. Do we want fabulous? Do we want side, swept bangs for this? One yep yeah cool, we'll just make it really crazy, like that: okay um, let's see makeup salon, so we bought full-on glitz for this one full-on glitz. This is not a boring wedding. My friends, okay, let's see where's that blue lipstick. Finally, almost every time I played this when I little, I would make kind of crazy fun looks like this. I mean that's what it's for right. You don't really make a serious career. Look like I just did. I was just trying to trying to make it more realistic, but I didn't last very long. Did I ok, gay? I love it. Okay, good to go succeed! Oh crazy blues! This is gon na, be a frozen themed, wedding, alta, inspired cool! You can even do the you can do the brow bone. Ah, I love it. I wish oh, I wish they had a side brain. I could do kind of an Elsa inspired look side braid. What is a side brain? I could use one of those side braid. So I could make an Elsa look. I just went to Epcot not long ago and rode the frozen ride and I just kind of got Elsa on the mind lately but come on. Let'S be real. When is Elsa not on the mind, all right, oh she's, wearing a wedding dress. Well, there goes my whole storyline, that's actually her wedding. Well, let's just hope. The groom's probably looks just like this. So it's okay and let's hope that she looks like this all the time and that this isn't just like a surprise for him great. This is the face makeup to make here a really fair. So, let's see, Oh, doesn't look really good with the blue, okay maker kind of made it skin tone. Is there blue blush, I'm gon na go all out here guys? No, why would they give us blue everything and uh ploop blush okay? Well, this will make her look a little frosted right tutu. For us, it may be a little too frosted a little a little bit. Okay, just a little frosted jewelry. I meant for her to look a little crazy but she's starting to look kind of cute, which one that one you're so this one yeah I like them both what great this one matches the lipstick, better, no glasses. And, what's that looks perfect, for let's see I wanted to do those fun and dangly star earrings? I still have those, not those, but they look like those. Oh, oh was that only available. Oh here they are okay. Ah cute, all she looks very celestial now. Oh I messed up. This is legit her wedding that poor groom. What did I just do? Okay, that looks beautiful, that looks cool wow that fun that look kind of like that, alright see. What do we got here? Choke her crystal definitely need the crystal. I don't know, do we like the veil or do we like the flowers? I just think that looks that looks a little nuts. I love it. Okay, so now, let's take a picture of her she's done. Oh wow, I really I made her look more like Barbie and then I made Barbie look more like Teresa wow. That looks pretty what a great visit to the salon you can see. I guess we'll make her a brunette. We we didn't do that one yet and I feel like we didn't select any of these hairstyles. I hope we should do they're really fun. Oh, should we do hope we didn't do the ponytail, yet we didn't do the braids. We didn't do the X. That'S that's! Really 90s, oh, but so are the mmm there's too many good decisions here. I could play this all day. All right. Let'S do that one! That'S oh! That looks so cute on Barbie. I remember with the blonde hair. It looks really cute. I think I like that. Okay, this is the head. You want to give her whoa fine. Do we want to give her streaks, even though we just gave Teresa streaks? I think I think we do it's a costume party costume gon na, be though I guess we'll pick that later right now, we'll just be fun. Oh, that's, cute! Okay, let's see makeup salon sparkle, we did Sparkle, we did Matt. Maybe we should do the cream right. Color, do we want matching purple lipstick he wants. I don't know all this depends on what she's going to be. They make you do this whole thing out of order? Oh okay, okay. I like that accessory salon. I color should we give her those pretty gray eyes. No glasses, let's get to the costume. Okay, let's see okay, so you can really just give them a mask. I love getting ready for. Oh no, let's make please take my hair down. Oh, I have to take our hair down. This is, but I think that's really cute, oh, I guess I'll have to take our hair down. This is the eyewear. This is the okay. I think I can add the kid ears. Oh that's cute. I like it. Okay, let's get rid of that necklace. How do we get rid of that necklace? No, we want that. I love there. We go. I think she looks really cute. I don't know if I like that hair on her, though cute okay, let's use this one, we may use this one. This is the specialty. You know what's funny see that stained glass design on the door right there, I actually had a Barbie Playhouse that I think this was referencing, but it had that same door like I think, that's the legit Barbie Playhouse that I had. I had an elevator. Did anybody else have that? Are you sure you want to okay and just because we didn't have a blonde and I made Barbie into a redhead we're gon na create myself so that we have a blonde everybody needs. We need more blondes. Okay! Well, do dream date. You can help me get ready for my dream date. This is the salon you can hair salon alright. So I really long hair, I kind of have a very long side bang going on right now, but not anything I can replicate in this game. Unfortunately, let's see here in the rotating I have, I do part my hair over on the side like that, let's see, and it is straight by default - so just we'll leave it that way. We didn't really look through these. These are just hair clips. I think those were pretty 90s too those little bendy, snap, bendy snap, not to bend and snap from Legally Blonde, but the bendy snap see what these look like. What cute? Oh, that's kind of like that. I have worn my hair like that fairly recently. You just clip one side back scrunchies 90 scrunchies bows, headbands Wow. We missed some stuff here, sorry slinky, headband, Oh fun looks like it hurt Wow. So we'll keep this linky headband. I couldn't make the longer side. Bangs work, we're gon na brush them to the side. Cute, okay, because I would definitely want something up there, no matter how much it hurt. Okay, let's see salon I've been into pink lipsticks. Lately I usually like red, but I've been in the pink lately ever since the colour-pop Disney collab came out. I'Ve been really into that Jasmine. Look, excellent fabulous! Do we want a lighter pink? I think that's cute. I like that. Okay and I'm always into the sparkles Sparkle, EPS, okay and we'll do Sparkle eyes to apply already, did excellent great color, pink Mya. I wear a lot of just neutral colors. I guess we'll just do that. Cute! Okay, cheeks! I am very fair, but I'm not quite sure I am that fair, we'll stick with that one, a little bit of blush and then you know what I forgot to do. I have one red streak, but I don't think I can really do it without putting red streaks everywhere. That is not what my red streak looks like at all and those hair color. For some reason it doesn't even look red. I just have one red streak: a signature red streak. Does that look like that? Okay, we'll just you know what we'll just keep her without the streets. Wow that looks pretty okay cool, it's me sort of, but a little bit blonder and without a red streak. Unfortunately, take sure camera what a great visit to the salon you can see.
