Best Hair Styler | Worth The Money?

Is the Dyson Air Wrap the best hair styler that's worth the money? I'm going to share all the details because this retails at $500.00 depending on where you purchase it from. I bought mine from Nordstrom. I used this for a week before my review because I wanted to give you as much information as possible in case you were thinking of purchasing one. This is an investment so I wanted to share everything I could about this to make your decision better.

It'S me, i know my hair shorter and it might get shorter before you see me next time for real, hey, it's annie and welcome back to my channel in today's video. I am going to be doing a very thorough review on the dyson air wrap. So i purchased this myself, i'm going to explain why i purchased it i'm going to go through all of the details of it. I want to try to share as much information as i can with you guys if it's something that you've been considering, but with the price tag you just really really want to know like everything is it worth it? I'M just gon na get into all the details. For you guys the reason i decided to get this because you guys know i just i bought the uh. I did a review on the revlon's revlon styler, which i returned. I got the heat, the hot tools, one which i like, and then i have a flat iron that i like, and then i also have for reference. I have a t3 dryer that i bought several years ago at the nordstrom sale. So when i bought the t3 people always told me how it was so lightweight and everything and it isn't it's not a lightweight dryer at all. So that's one of the things i never really liked about it. I always felt like was sort of heavy um, but it still works. I'Ve had for several years and i still it's still going, but i am on a hear journey right now. I have been having issues with my hair. I really need to get. I keep saying that we haven't done it yet, but i'm i'm getting a water softener. Somehow i know that you can get some that go onto your tap your your shower thing. I might do that. I'M not sure how we're gon na do it. Okay, but my hair is really really bad. I mean it is so dry, it's just horrible. My hair was never like this when i lived in illinois, but we did have a water softener there. So i have i just cut my hair today actually and we'll see how it happen. What happens? I could go shorter. I don't know, there's a lot of dryness that has to come off um, but i wanted to get a tool. The reason i got this i want to get it. I wanted to get a hair tool that wouldn't be as harsh that i wouldn't have to use a flat iron or curling iron. All the time i could use something that would be gentler on my hair and this fit a bit. So, as i said, i want to go over everything, so this it comes in this case here, which is really really nice. One thing negative thing i will say about is a wish it had a handle. It is quite heavy i feel like um and depending on you know, some people have difficulty lifting up bit. You know heavy pieces like this and i feel like it's sort of heavy. I don't know what it weighs, but it's it's hefty okay, so i wish it had a handle on it, so it would be easier for someone that couldn't maybe use both their hands or whatever i wish it had a handle on it. So that's the only negative. Otherwise, it's really really nice, it's a magnetic closure here and then, when you open it up, you've got this piece here to kind of protect it. So i guess, if you're traveling, it's not going to come out. It kind of just keeps everything in place. See this right here and then inside here you've got all the attachments here, so you've got the dryer and all the attachments. The dryer itself is this here here it is, there's the piece right here very lightweight, and i love the design of it, because when i'm using all of the attachments, it's so comfortable to use more comfortable than any other dryer i've ever used, including the hot tools And the the revlon, it's very, very comfortable just to grip on like this. So when i'm using the the rollers, which you'll see me use when i'm using the rollers, if i'm using a round brush, that's in here, whatever it just so comfortable to get around your whole head love that about it, it's quiet as well! I love that it's so quiet, i don't my t3 isn't quiet. The hot tools is quieter than the revlon, but this is so wonderful because it is not loud to me at all. It is so quiet. I love that on the dryer here. Let me get my glasses on the piece here and by the way it's a swivel cord, so it swivels around and then you've got. This is part of the electrical. I have no idea what that is, but then you've got the the cord right here. Okay or the plug right there and it's pretty long, i feel like it's a pretty long, nice cord. This right here is the filter right there and inside you will get a little brush. So it looks like this and then you fit it around here. I haven't used it yet so i have to read up on it, but i know you: maybe you go this way if it goes on this way, but anyways it fits around here fits around here and then it cleans it. It'S got these little brushes on. So you can clean your filter off. Okay, like i said, i haven't done that yet um, so i don't want to break it so and then you have all these buttons here, so this button is to turn it on so you'd flip it up this way and then here you've got three settings so See if we could show it? Yes, so you see, you've got the cool, you have a medium heat and a high heat. I just what i've been doing is i use the cool to dry, my hair, so i'm not using heat on my hair to dry it and then, when i go into style it then i just use the medium. So i'm not using a lot heat, which i really really love. You'Ve got um. You have this one and this one this one will, you know it'll be a low fat. You know low blow out a little bit faster, hot blowout and a higher. So it's just the speed of how fast the air blows out. That'S the setting right here and again, that's the on and off button on the back here. You'Ve got this little button here so when you're going to put on an attachment, so you pull this down. You put your attachment in which is right in there and you see those little those little nodules or whatever you know what i'm saying: that's, where you're going to fit those pieces, you'll see it when i'll share it with you. Okay, so you push it down. You put it in and then it locks okay. So let me show you so, for example, see this one right here, so i'm going to push this down and then i'm going to fit it in those little things into that area there and that's it. Let'S talk about some of the attachments, so these attachments are for curling your hair, but i would consider these more like a hot roller kind of a curl you're not going to get like a curling iron. Look with it. Okay, it's going to be a softer curl! So these are the larger ones. Okay and then you have this size. This is the size that i used for for these curls here, that's the size i use so you're going to get a tighter curl with this than you are with this. They have little arrows on it. You see that so the arrow is going to tell you the direction that the air is going to, how it's going to curl. So when it's going this way, you know just think the direction that's going is the way it's going to wrap around your hair. So this is the side i would use for this side of my head because it's going to wrap it around that way. You'Ll know, if you do it the wrong way, because it's not going to curl and all you have to do, is when it's on when you have it turned on and you're holding it. You just kind of you see, you'll, see me in the video you kind of pull out the hair i kind of sometimes i have to kind of help it a little bit and then i wrap it up. I don't use this on wet here, but i have used it on damp here and it works good on dampier or dry hair. I tr i try to do it damp, so i'm not like extra, adding any extra heat to my hair, so i will hold it there for a little bit after i wrap it up and i kind of twist it too. So i get it on my ends and then i kind of go like this and kind of roll it up. And then i let it sit there for a little bit and then there's a button on here see that that that um blue button there. So if you push this up and you hold it - then you're gon na get like a cool shot. So i'll just sit there with it with the cool shot and then i turn it off and then i just release it. I spring it down and then just leave it now before i get to the other tools. I want to share something with you. When i first did this, i wasn't using any products on my hair. I was using heat. Protectant always use a heat, protectant um, but i needed something else because i felt like it wasn't: keeping the curl in as good it just was like. I would do it, it would look great and it was like my hair would be flat. So i got this and holy cow, it will keep your hair and i mean my hair was curly like it's curly the next day. I'M sure i use this, so this is from living proof. This is the flex hair spray, it sets shapes and finishes and has heat protection in it. So it's a medium hold and i'll try to remember to put the link below for this. Okay. What i do is, after i, you know when i'm ready to style my hair with the rollers, then i will section out my hair. I will spray it then i will take a brush and brush it a little bit or not. I don't know what i did in the video sometimes do. Sometimes i don't okay, but then i go ahead and i take that attachment and then go ahead and do it you know. Do that section. Do the same thing, spray do all that spray continue blah blah, but as i go along i'll, also spray, it so i'll. Do it do that section spray it? Let it sit, do the thing spray it let it set spray, let it set and this stuff made. I mean my hair is, i could sleep in it get up and my hair is still curly. It'S unbelievable. I mean i took a brush and brushed through it because i just wanted to see even with a brush at state in my hair. Now i don't have really super thick hair. I don't have thin thin hair, but my hair is not really thick, so i don't know if this is going to be enough for you, because it's only medium hold if you have thick hair, if you have straight hair, i don't know if this is going to Be enough for you, this is just what works for me and as far as these working, if you have super fine hair again, i don't know because i have a little bit of this - is all my natural curly hair back here. So i have a wave already in my hair, so this works for me. I just want to be really really upfront with you guys about this, because this is an investment, so this is a hair dryer attachment. So this is what you put on again. You would put this on here, love it. The air comes out this way, not that way. Okay - and i just love it. I love the hair dryer in here again so comfortable to hold. If you are someone that doesn't like to hold something heavy or you feel like you're, not coordinated you're going to freaking love this thing, so i'm going to say i really really love it. Then we've got these attachments. There'S two brushes here that you can use for straightening these two brushes here i do like these and i will use them um. I think it depends on the kind of hair you have, because i'm going to show you what i use to straighten my hair, because i did use these to straighten my hair and it was that was okay but, like i said, if you have thick hair, this Probably would work better if you had long thick hair again, you know how i've shared, how to put them on and then this is the one i really like, but i have to see if they have one. That'S um a little bit bigger of this, although maybe this maybe it's going to be okay, because i just cut my hair, but it's the round brush. This is how i straighten my hair. Normally is i use a round brush and then i will go in and i will use a flat iron on it, but i didn't need to do that when i use this, i'm not going to wear it straight for a while, though, because i don't my hair Is just i just don't want to do it i feel like i have to put a lot more stress on my hair and i'm trying not to do that. I'M probably going to be wearing my hair a lot more like this for a while. Just with a couple curls like that or whatever and just kind of letting it go love this, let me show you i'm not going to turn it on, but what i love about, it's so comfortable to use again, you can take this. You can take your hair and you just it's so comfortable. You can dry it back like this. It doesn't get caught up in my hair love, it super super comfortable to use, and it's just like i said it's just it's easy to use it's comfortable to use and i get great results. So the bottom line is for me. Is it worth it for me? Yes, i freaking love this thing and i'm going to tell you why i love the fact that there's so many different tools in here that replace other tools i can like. I said i can take this with me and travel and i have everything with me. I don't have to bring my flat iron. My curl, like i, have everything in here that i need. If you use the rights product, the curl is going to stay in your hair, but you've got to use a product in your hair. If you just do it without it, it's not going to say so just think about when you're normally styling your hair. If you use hot rollers or curling iron, how does it stay in your hair? Does it stay really well in your hair without a product, then you know you've got to make sure that you're using some sort of product in your hair when you are using the rollers. I like this too about it. I like that, you can touch this too, when you're using it. If you need to i just it's so easy to use it's quiet, it's lightweight and i'm going to use all of these tools in here, and i love the fact that i have a nice case to keep it all in, and this is what you have to Think about for you, if you're on the fence about getting it, are you going to use all these tools? That'S what it comes down to, because if it's like well, i like the dryer and maybe the rollers, but i don't know if i'm going to use the round brush and i don't know, then it may not be worth it for you for me. I know that i i'm going to use different tools, i'm probably going to use the rollers and the round brush the most right now, but i think, as time goes on, i probably will use the bigger ones. But i just don't need to do that right now, but i will use that. Obviously, i'm going to use the the dryer attachment so for me absolutely worth it love it love it love! It highly highly recommend it if it's something that again is something that you think you're going to use so think about that. First, before you get it really, you know i'm the voice of reason. I'M not that person, that's going to tell you. He doesn't need that. I'M not that person. That'S not what i do here. So if it's something that you feel like you're going to use all those tools you're, then i would definitely recommend it. I have no regrets. I freaking love it. This is probably the nicest tool i have in my. I don't want that collection, but with all my tools that i have this is my favorite. So i'm probably going to pass off my hair dryer to my daughter and my other brush, i'm going to probably get rid of, but i'm going to keep my curling iron flat iron because there are times i might need to still give my hair a little bit Of a bend a little bit more of a bend or something like that, so i'm going to keep those, but i can't say enough good things about this. I really am extremely happy with it. I love it so if you're, if you're thinking about it and you think you're gon na, like all this, i think you're gon na freaking love it. I really do. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, please make sure you give it a thumbs up, would really appreciate it. If you would share it, you can follow me on all the socials and i'll catch. You guys all in my next video bye review on the dyson. Let me do that again. You'Ve got this oops you're, going to pull it down like this oops. So i'm going to focus. Okay focus. Okay, so then you pull it down like. Why are you being a little sweet again? No we're gon na focus on. Can we just okay? Gon na focus? Are you gon na be a little? It doesn't want to focus on anything, but me: okay, so anyways

Pat Martin: Love your hair. You’re so lucky to have the curl and wave. You always look like a million bucks!!

LAVBell: Love my AirWrap. For me, it works best with slightly damp hair. TIP: Keep a spray bottle filled with water nearby. If your hair gets too dry, just spray a light mist of water. Also good for touch ups on second and third day hair. Love your channel❣️

B B: I love your new hair style Anne! Looks beautiful! I had my haircut yesterday. Very happy with the result. My hair is a few inches shorter now, but its still very long and looks healthy. As you mentioned in your previous video, it's better to have shorter length but having healthy looking hair. Thank you so much for the great review of your new hairdryer. I was thinking of purchasing it, but wasn't sure if it is worth the price. I know now and will definitely be getting it. You are an amazing woman!❤

Vicki Cyrulik: I’m with you, Anne. I love, love, love the Dyson air wrap. I have the Dyson hairdryer, but I rarely use it because of the versatility and ease of the air wrap.

Dana Barr: I love my air wrap, but they definitely need a larger round brush attachment. It’s so much gentler on my hair than the revlon, but the size of the revlon makes drying longer hair so much quicker. I really hope it’s in the works!

Christine Mack: Anne, I couldn't agree more and don't use my other dryers any longer. The straightening (pink accented) brush and the wands are my favs. You're right about needing a product to hold the curl. Have a wonderful week!

Patricia Back: Ooh your hair looks fabulous! Thanks for this review; I've been looking at this Dyson for so long. I have longish hair with some natural wave. I've just been hesitant cuz it's so spendy. Watching your review makes me more comfortable...think I may just make the leap. Appreciate your thoroughness Annie!❤

Regina Keith: It's awesome that you were able to find one of these. I have been saving my Ulta points for years to get one and now have more than enough to get this but it's always sold out. I'm glad you've given it such a glowing review. It makes me feel like my years of saving up will have been worth it!

Debbie Ocasio: I have been thinking about purchasing this for awhile but have been on the fence. I really appreciate your honest review! Now if I could only find it in stock. Thanks Anne!

Chris Perry: Love the shorter hair. Thanks for explaining the Dyson. I was on the fence abt it because it looked too complicated. You convinced me to buy one.

Trishanne Lininger: I love my Dyson blow dryer and have used it for over a year...thought about the wrap, but know I wouldn't use all the tools. Still fun watching you find something you really like. My sister is going through the same thing as you with her hair, so I shared these last two videos with her:)

Michelle Parsons: Thanks for the review on this one. I’m in the market for a new dryer. With the T3 you have to get the right one. They are not all lightweight. I had one that was very lightweight. It lasted me about 7 years before it quit working. I definitely got my money’s worth out of it.

-Nellie -m: Love your natural curly hair Anne, I love my Dyson hair dryer, I don’t have all the attachments that you have because I didn’t need them, I’ll usually blow dry my hair then go in with my hair straightener, with the Dyson I can cut out the use of my hair straightener and it gives my hair the same look as if I’ve used my straightener, less heat and time spent on my hair and my little fur baby loves it also Lol because it’s not so noisy and it’s quick to dry her off in these Winter months. Cheers from Nellie xoxo

Jenny Sheeran: I just got one. Been on the fence for a while but I love it. So happy I finally did it and my hair has never felt healthier.

Stacy B: I have to say, your hair looks gorgeous! Can't tell it is dry and damaged. I have the Dyson dryer and I am happy with it. Glad to hear the Air Wrap works great as well!

Christine LaPorte: I purchased a refurbished airwrap when it was on sale for $100 less than their normal $499. I agree with you wholeheartedly, it is worth the price for all the hair tools this one dryer can replace. I am definitely purchasing a travel case for this summer. The brown case it comes in is great for home storage, but it would be very difficult to travel with.

Michelle Henshaw: I love my AirWrap tooI don't need product to keep the curl in, but I do need to curl it on towel dried damp hair. I also love using the smoothing brush for straight styles, I have not used a straightener since. I use the round brush or the barrels after the smoothing brush just to give more of a bend to the ends. It is so much easier and quicker for me as I have natural curl and used to HAVE to blow dry before using the straightening iron to get it smooth and sleek at 220C, now the AirWrap is maximum 160C and often I just use medium heat so not even that, the same if I used a curling iron. I am rubbish at styling hair but with this I actually enjoy doing it and love all the different styles I can get with it.

Monica Patton: Wow I really really wish they would make a large roll brush like Revlon. I am certain the Dyson would be healthier for my hair than the very damaging Revlon roll brush dryer and I prefer roll brush to straighten but I would need the larger size because my hair is longer and thick.

Cathy Over 50 - Beauty & Style: Thanks for the review Anne, I have been on the fence about this for a long time. Great review. xo

Sharon Czalbowski: Wow, now I understand why it's so popular. Nice to know it works on different hair lengths. Thanks Anne.

Olina Young: Some water supplies are so difficult to deal with, truly!!! You’ve kept your hair beautiful though !! Thanks for sharing he genuine review

Jan Kelley: Your hair is fantastic! It always looks very nice. A water softener will make a big difference. When I lived in Miami the water was fine but now I’m in Tampa. The water here is horrible. It’s hard and has an odor. So you get minimal lather and build up. Most people don’t even drink water out of the tap because it too is terrible! I’m so happy we have a water softener. I’m glad to see your review. I’ve contemplated purchasing the air wrap but I have a had time justifying the cost.

Julie Lyons: I am having the same issue with my hair. I moved from NY down to Florida and as much as I love it here I hate the water. My hair is so dry and I do know that some of the problem is hormonal, but the largest part is due to the hard water down here. My hair stylist purchased the Dyson hair dryer and she loves it. She did get all the gadgets but she spoke very highly of the dry for the simple fact that it dries hair quicker and she says that helps keep it healthier. I have also started using the Moroccan oil along with my Collen Rothschild products and it has really seemed to help. I use the Collen Rothschild products one week and then I switch it up with the Moroccan oil shampoo and conditioner with the actual oil I put 2 pumps into the conditioner and then 1 to 2 pumps onto my wet hair. I have been doing this for about a month now and let me tell you what a difference it has made. Thanks for this great video. I will also be investing in a whole house water softener. Good luck with your hair journey.

Michelle Chaney: Love my air wrap and the Dyson straightener

Linda Marocco: Great review Anne!!!... I am on the fence about this for awhile!... I better start saving....you look gorgeous, hair, makeup total package!... thank you for being you!!!... love ya!!!

Voula P: Your hair looks amazing and nice length ! Like the Dyson and that hairspray is just what I need . Enjoy your weekend my friend !!!

Marie Scott: Have you tried the Redken Acidic line? I like these better than Olaplex. My hair is looking and feeling healthier. Also received some trial sizes of Masami hair care products and like the styling ones so far. I haven’t used the shampoo or conditioner yet. As far as the Dyson, do you know how many watts this is for blow drying? I like how versatile this is and doesn’t seem like you need to be a professional stylist to use it. I am horrible trying to use a dryer and round brush.

Anna Palombi: I would probably use 2 of the attachments. What I’m interested in is the heat control. How was that? Is it better for the hair?

Melinda Pavlich: Ohh I wish I could afford one! Love the look

Lori Stokes Wright: Thank you so much! You have been very helpful and always honest.

swineinny1: Great vid — I think your hair looks gorgeous! Just curious, what flat iron do you use?

Woo Doran: Are the products you use cruelty free ? Love the dyson review. I’d love to get it . I’m gona save up.

Julie Lyons: My friend purchased this dryer and everything that came along with it from QVC for $499.99 plus they offer 6 value pays which makes it more affordable for some people who just don't have the $500 or $600 to spend at one time.

selena rushton: I wish it came with a diffuser for days I want to go curly!

Krissy My: I agree I think your hair looks really nice make up too ..very classy!! I think if I bought that my hair would be yanked out at the root LOLWhen I was in Florida I had all kinds of hair trouble back in April I wonder if it was a hard water.

Beauty & Beyond: I would absolutely love this, it's just out of my budget...Big Hugs.Bella xxxx

Nic: I moved house where I previously had a water softener.. I don't know why, but I think because we spent a lot on getting it and having it installed only to leave it behind, that I figured I didn't want to do it all over again in the new house.. But boy, was my hair a mess! I just cut it all off, it felt like it constantly had product in despite washing it, I tried a bunch of shampoo and conditioners from cheap to expensive, a softening shower head attachment.. Nothing worked. It always felt disgusting, looked a mess - kinda heavy, never coult get my fingers through it.. It Just felt matted to me.. I cut it all off thinking it was damage, then I thought I just needed to get another softener and see! It worked.. It just feels like hair should feel now. I use Pureology hydrate and wouldn't be without that either :) You can get beach waves/almost curling iron look with the dyson, but you work it differently, twisting hair around the barrel rather than letting it wrap, leaving the ends out etc.. Check out the videos on YT :)

Chook: I love your hair shorter! Love it!!!

Tanya Wood: I am still on the fence about this dryer! Will it work for someone that has stick straight hair and needs a lot of volume when I fix it? I can't just go around my head and make "beach waves" as some call them, my problem is I need volume and fullness all over and have to use a good mousse! Are there some attachments that might do that? Thank you so much my friend for the in depth review on this!! Have a great week!!

Joe Williams: I love my Dyson Hair Wrap. Thank you for sharing xoxo roseingeorgia

Jeanne Scanlan: Love love love my air wrap!

danielle brown: my hair is dry and damaged so I let my hair air dry and then use a korean curling iron that you can make curls with and its called ... and it infuses water in your hair you can use it every day and will not damage your hair: hairbeauron 4D plus bioprogramming company. If the tool you are using in this tutorial you find is not best for you I would try this one out

Mary Decarlo: Ur the best..u always calm me down.

Anna Langham: Hi and I just went through that!!! and I just cut the s*** out of my hair and it's finally growing nice but I had to go real short I don't know if it's the in the water ..because it growing out nice not bleaching or high lighting No more!! Think it's just old hair now can't handle any processing of any kind just doin light brown colorsilk with red highlighting in front with medium Auburn

Mary Decarlo: always gorgeous.

Stephanie Wells: How does it work in Florida humidity ? The product hairspray?

Shana Kelly: I live your hair...it looks so healthy.

Sonia Lee: Agree

MissyA: Love my dyson hair dryer

Louise Sharpy: I’m sorry. I just can’t see any thing worth $500 for hair. I mean. It’s so big and clunky. I couldn’t even hold it. I just can’t see this ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️I’m happy for those that beed to cut down 40 min to 10 tho. Ha ha ha

Anne Helene Groven: Yeeyyy here I am on the first row to see you make your hair so gorgeouse . You are looking very beautiful girlfriend . Happy Sunday
