Hello, everybody and welcome back to my channel um just to point out the obvious. These are not real um. I found these foil tattoos that i had for a party that i went to last year. Can you see them yeah yeah there you go they're kind of like an awkward angle, they're just rubbing off they just wash on wash off type ones um. But today i have something very exciting. To show you um, it's been a little while in the making, because everything's been very busy recently, but the lovely people at ferdin. I hope i'm saying that right, um sent me this incredible hairstyler, which i've been trying out for the last couple of weeks, and i'm gon na show you today how it performs, what you get with it, and they were so lovely that they made sure that they Sent me one with a uk plug because they're a us-based brand, so that was very lovely of them. Um yeah, i'm gon na pop. In my hair extensions. My hair is freshly washed, i'm using hair extensions by lulabelles they're, the human hair extensions um they're. Doing me really well, actually i'm quite impressed with them and i'm going to show you how i can either straighten or curl with it, because it's a round head and i'm going to go through the little booklet with you. So they give you this little booklet in the box. It tells you that you have a flat iron hair straightener by feriden. I think it's feriden. Third and third in you know what i don't know. It'S gon na be different in american accent anyway um, but it also tells you in the booklet as to what type of hair that you have as to what temperature you should be using it on. I'M only gon na use it on my hair extensions on like a low temperature, because i want to make sure that i'm not frying them because they are still. You know. They could last me longer than this video - and oh also, i forgot to say, um cardinal clothing sent me this cute t-shirt. You can have it with lots of different emblems as a jaguar and there's also a logo of theirs on here. So you should check them out i'll link them below, for you um, it's very soft as well like very comfy, and i got a medium because i, like things that are a little bit, you know, have a little bit of room in can tuck it into some. Like black denim shorts, so that's pretty cool. Let'S see, if there's anything else in here that i can tell you about so it explains that you've got ceramic plates on it and there's a temperature knob on it and an indicator with the handle lock. So let me show you it: it comes with this lovely little bag that you can pop it in for travel, which is pretty cool, it's velvet. So it's got lots of dust on it at the moment, but very impressed. It also comes with a heat protectant glove which i don't think any of my hair straighteners have ever come with them, so i don't really tend to use a glove just purely because i feel like i can't get a proper grip, but obviously it definitely protects you If you're going to be using it on a really high temperature - and it also now they got mixed in with my own clips, so i'm not sure which clips were theirs and which clips are mine, but i think they were the higher quality ones. There were these ones weren't they, so you get. Two of these they've got like a slight grip on them. It'S not necessarily that sticky grip, but it's a slight grip. So when you put them in, they will stay in your hair, no matter how silky it is because today my hair is very soft, so i just have a bunch of different clips to test out um and then, of course, the styler itself. So this twist so you're never going to get tangled in it, and then here has the temperature gauge. So it goes off and all the way up to 230 degrees and then, when you're packing them away, you can put the lock on it to make sure that it stays together and when you're, not you just open it up like that, which is pretty simple. And these ceramic plates do get very hot, but just be careful not to put it on damp hair because it will frizz and fry and most likely damage your natural hair, uh. All hair extensions, in my case, so i'm gon na plug these in and we're gon na, see how quick it takes to heat up, and i will be right back so what am i gon na turn it on to i'm just gon na do 120 because of My hair extensions and it's already stopped flashing. It says it's already up to temperature. How is that hot? So quick that was like seconds wait, let's just test how long it takes to get to the top. That'S about 25., there 26 seconds and it's up to temperature. That is very impressive and i'm going to turn it down, i'm going to put it on 160 and it's really satisfying that it has that little click on it. So i'm going to pop you down there! I'Ve put it on top of my little uh drawstring bag, i'm going to brush through my hair. I intentionally blow dried my hair straight with a big round brush um just so it was a little bit more tame for the video, because normally my hair is like out here. So i'm going to section off my hair and just straighten my natural hair first. So i'm just taking a section from the back just like that. Just run your finger through in a straight line. Can you see that okay, i hope so and then we're gon na just twist the hair up get our little clip and pop that in there and then you also get a little tail comb with it, but i'm just going to be using my tangle teezer today, Because i prefer a wider reach, i'm just going to put my mirror here, so i can actually see what i'm doing. I hope that's not in your view. My hair is so many different shades of blonde and brunette at the moment and as you can see, the broken bit of hair is actually growing. It went up to here, like in november or whatever it was. It'S grown quite a lot um, but i try not to use too much heat on my hair just for the fact that you know i'm trying to make it grow, but this has got a nice coating on it. I don't think it would be damaging um if you just kept it on the lower setting. I can see how much it can straighten the hair. Just on my natural, it's so infuriating that i've got this big chunk at the bottom, though, because like when i'm too hot, the hair goes really really curly um. So it will be a good test to see just how long this will last right. Let'S have a go: okay, that's quite impressive! I'M stuck i'm stuck right. Take a hair! Take a hair, take a section of hair; okay, that's quite good! Actually nice sad little straggle of hair underneath there and then we're gon na go the other side. I always find it really hard to get like the bottom line of hair straight um, because it does go wavy as soon as i get a bit warm, but i do just have naturally very wavy hair, so even getting it to like the level of straight. It was with drying, it is a mission um, but i just naturally have very wavy hair and i don't know where i get it from, because my mom has very straight hair. I think um, but my nan has quite curly hair there we go. Oh, you know what i don't understand is when people straighten their hair and they do this. It doesn't do anything if you do it really quick like that um, so yeah, i'm quite yeah. I really enjoy these like, like i said, i've been using them for a little while and my hair's definitely still straight the next day, so for my hair to be able to do that is impressive, because normally it just wants to go wild um. I might even pop a little photo in of what my hair looks like by tomorrow, and then we can assess together what exactly it has achieved, um for it to actually stay in because, like i said, my hair is very wild. I'M going to use this little thicker, one that i've got just because i've got so much hair um. I should really be doing multiple sections, but i kind of just like to get a nice rough straighten on the first go and then blend it all in together. But yeah i highly damaged my hair, as most of you know, um, but i'm thinking of doing a series, or at least a video on how you can help your damaged hair, because i have come up with like a bunch of tips and tricks along the way. Um through my time of trying to fix my hair, so maybe maybe i'll do that, but see even just putting my hair behind my ears there for a few minutes. It naturally creates a wave because my hair is so inclined to being curly uh. When i was younger, i used to have like really really wavy hair, like really beautiful beach waves. But then oh, it's steaming, it's steaming, but then i i colored my hair and inevitably you lose your density, and my hair is still very thick, even though, like i've lost a whole chunk of it, but i am excited to have healthy hair. Once again. I'Ve got quite a few methods that i use to keep my hair in better shape and how it's grown um in quite a healthy way, since destroying it with like the millionth time, bleaching it um. If you haven't seen that video already, it's called something like my hair actually fell out because it did actually fall out and there's so many triggered people in the comments um, i'm normally great at doing my own hair, my mum is actually a hairdresser and i would Help her do her clients, hair um, they're quaking in their boots, knowing how bad i am now, no, but essentially what i did was. I normally do half a head of roots one day and then half a head, the other, but because i had an event that night and i was very impatient as i always am um. I just went for it and i fully destroyed my hair um. So i went to the hairdressers to actually get it fixed and go back to like a natural, shade, um and when i was there, they didn't actually listen to how i said it's just a washout purple on top of blonde. They weren't listening to me and then they were shocked three minutes later, when my hair went from lilac to white um. Hence why some of my blonde is just so light, because i tried to tone it down with a toner on top of it, and then they made my roots really really really dark. So i get scared going to a hairdresser because, like i've grown up the whole of my like teen well my whole, my childhood, my mom just doing my hair um so being able to trust someone else to touch it is his heart is very hard. So i tend to only do it myself, um, but i think i'd go back to the person that cut my hair um because they did a good job. I just literally told them to lob off all the damage that they could um, because if they did it for real, obviously they'd be cutting it chin length like i had it a year or two ago, um, but yeah it was around. I think it was like june 2018 when i cut my hair to my chin, so it's grown an awful lot. It'S grown this much in two years, so i can't really complain. Let'S hope it keeps going um, but i've been trying to be good and have like vitamins and stuff, but i don't know if they've been helping at all um who knows, but all the things i have been doing intentionally towards my hair. I will pop in a video because i think that could be quite useful um. I tried out some of the tricks on my mom's hair because her hair was quite damaged due to like medication, like i mentioned in my previous video, how she's not very well um. So i got her some of this like specific, shampoo and conditioner. You can totally see so many red tones in my hair. I kind of love that i've missed seeing that um but yeah. So i got her this specific, like shampoo and conditioner. I'Ve recommended it to some of my friends that have had like hair thinning problems, um down to like healthful medication, and it's actually helped. So i'm going to be doing a series on that. Another thing that, like i haven't thought about trying which i think i should is using castor oil, because i know when i my eyebrows were like deadly thin. Also, please excuse how my skin is just like very natural and like i have no makeup on today, um, but i'm letting my skin breathe a bit because i've been doing so much like so many photo shoots and so much filming that my skin's just kind of Not it's best at the moment, and i always find that makeup goes on better. When you have a break from makeup. I don't know what it is, but i think there's just something about your skin. That wants to like take it on, after just giving it some time to breathe um. I'M really sorry, if i'm like only looking into my mirror, but i can't risk burning myself um, which of course i could be using the mitt. Should i try them it? I don't know how to use them. Yet, let's learn together section this here: um sectioning is not hard. You just literally run your finger through in a straight line and then twist your hair around each other and just grip it in um, i'm like losing so much hair right now, because i haven't brushed it yet. This morning, um, i just kind of let my hair. Naturally, dry so much and then blow-dry it um, but yeah. It'S definitely sorting out like those little kinks and like the bottom. The ends of my hair might need like a bit of extra work, but i don't like to put too much heat on them. For obvious reasons, um, but yeah - i'm just gon na run this through the top of my hair and then we're going to test them out on the hair extensions as well um. But what have been your favorite hair products in lockdown? What have you discovered something new because you've been seeing more adverts, the whole function of beauty thing, i'm not sure about it. I don't know if you'd be able to tell just from that and then those hair gummy bear things, i'm very unsure about um. Oh, this will be a good test. This is like really wavy baby hair, so i don't know if it will. If it will, let itself be straightened and how close i can go to my head either. Oh okay, that is very straight um. Let me try again uh, but i heard about that awful news about um, naya, riviera and like jeez. My heart goes out to her family right now, like that's, actually terrifying. To think that you were just on like a boat with your son having a nice little afternoon, trip out on the lake and the next thing you know like where's, your mom gone, so that's actually terrifying, um and so sad, because there's such like a cult around Like i say cult, it's like a huge following and it changed a lot for musical theater. I think um brought it more into the mainstream, but with like glee, like, i swear, there's like some kind of curse, so many of their characters like it's a video on youtube that i watched a couple of weeks ago actually - and it was saying the curse of Glee or something like that, um because the character will say something and it actually came true for the actor which was trippy like really spooky right down to see. I didn't watch it that often so i don't know the name of the characters, but you know that rebel guy with the um mohawk like he ended up dying. Quite young um like he. What did he say? He basically called it in one of his lines and then someone else called something else, and it was just like spooky. You know like how the simpsons can just predict. So much also that is spooky like how do they do that um? Oh one tip when you're doing this, try not to move your hair too much once you've straightened it, because it's the cold that sets it into the place. So this just manipulates it and then the cold fully sets it that's why? When people go over and over again, it's not doing anything because you aren't giving it that time to cool down. I think i'm happy with that. That seems quite good um. I'Ve got so many split ends on my top row. I have like really short bits like where are they? Okay, that's a short bit that had broke off and they're all around my top layer so like my top is so full and they're like this is so thin at the bottom. But it's what we do it's what we do do it for those views right. So i'm going to, i really should have ironed this t-shirt beforehand. I'M sorry um! What i'm going to do is i'm going to take a section of my hair once again on the bottom row. Just like i did going all the way up my hair to pop. In my hair extensions, so we're gon na whack this in right, where's, my three clip i'm sitting on half of them, because they're so long, uh right those are my two two pieces that go at the top and then this is my middle five piece, and this Is my four piece that means that one's my third piece right, so i've got a three clip going on. You can put your my mirror here, so i can see if it's still, yes, it's still recording um. I really need to untangle these. I have a habit of like putting them in styling them all nice and then just kind of like they're strewn on the side somewhere um. So i'm gon na give them a little brush. They'Re, not the most high quality, hair extensions for sure, but they're. Also, not the worst, so what number are we on at the moment? How do i figure this out? Oh okay, so it's where the dot is. I keep forgetting that um. So i'm going to take it down to 120 and i don't know when do you tell because it did a little flash, i'm not sure we'll just see if the hair handles it um, so i'm going to go down them. I'M going to continue this process for all my extensions before i put them in and then i'm going to actually straighten them into my hair as well to style them. I don't want to make them like fully poke straight, because i don't think that makes hair extensions. Look natural um, but i'm going to leave a little wave in them just so it blends nicely. I think i need to give these a bit of a trim because they're kind of scraggy on the ends now. Okay, i turned it up by like one notch in temperature. It felt like it was tugging on the hair a little bit, so i'm going to say that 120 160 160 will be the max on these extensions um. So then, i'm going to brush my four piece, hello! Oh, do you realize you're doing the video look nice? Thank you look very nice. I don't know what company it is, but yes, these are very good and look like real hair, very good quality. That'S not what this one's for! What'S this one for it's for the hair straightener, it's not even it's not for the t-shirt either, because, like this is given to me, the hair looks so real because the straightener's doing such a good job, i would have thought she just cut out her own hair And straightened it that quality it smell. It doesn't smell like burning in this room. I i came in this room, it smells lovely, it doesn't make a noise, don't hear any of that. You know when something's not plugged in properly here a bit of static, shocky stuff. Don'T hear any of that going down and it it looks very satisfying. Okay, should i clip these into your hair? No, i'm all right! I'M gon na eat something cause. I'M i'm gon na eat anything. I'M i'm like okay i'll, be down for food in like five ten minutes: okay, i'll watch it can i eat or up to you. That means no all right. I'M gon na brush these ones through this five piece is such a thick weft. I'M really impressed with that, because sometimes the five ones can be really sparse because they think you've got more width and you don't need that thickness. But you do you've, probably all seen rob's channel. But if you haven't already, he does really fun pokemon videos and you should go and check him out i'll pop his link in the description below and he's on. My suggested bit on the home page of my youtube profile, something that i'm really impressed with these hair extensions is that it's an invisible seal on it. So it's like clear and it's not a big track line. It definitely blends in better um. Since my hair color has grown out, i must have got these three months ago, so i've had three months of growth, since i put them in and they're still blending pretty well. I just have to be careful where i place them just like you do with any hair extensions um, but yeah. I'M gon na give these a run through and then i'm going to repeat exactly that. Just with my last two pieces that i have and you can use these to curl or to straighten - and it helps it because you've got that swizzle at the bottom here, so it moves with you and but just for today, i'm gon na be doing a straightening Technique um, i personally really struggle to curl with straighteners um. I don't know what it is. I just don't think i have the neck yet, but i'm gon na practice more and then i can always try it in a future, get ready with me video right. So i'm gon na pop all my extensions down here i'll, go and grab my three piece that we did at the beginning and there we go and i'm just going to backcomb my hair just slightly so tobacco. Let me get this angle for you. You take a piece of hair and just pull the brush. It'S like a barrier, so when you grip them in, it's got something to grip onto, especially because my hair is like freshly washed today. So my hair extensions probably slide out otherwise but they'll stay in longer and you can even do a little spritz of hairspray over what you've back combed. So you just take the hair and just push up with the brush against the grain of the hair. So we're going to do that on each row where the clips are, you don't need to do it across the entire row? You can just do it where the clips are going to be going and then, if you put on a bit of spray, it makes it just that little bit more grippable. If you think your hair is too soft. So if you have fine hair, you might be more inclined to having extra soft hair as well um, so we're going to take these i've got some fluff on it. I'M gon na pop them in just in the back there. I like to pull the hair across that way, so there's not too much sticking out and the color match is really good, like i said about how my roots have grown out and they still blend really really well. Oh, i just tracked my hair in with the other clip uh, so we're gon na take another section and we're just gon na repeat that all over the hair we're going to take the four piece pop them in this is sometimes where i get a little bit. Candied, that seems to have gone in okay, though i sometimes just like trap hair from like the upper sections by accident. It makes it look so thick and full kind of obsessed with these hair extensions like i haven't, really been able to wear them out to anywhere nice, yet um, because, obviously you know, we've been locked down, we haven't been able to go anywhere, go to any nice Meals or anything like we really enjoy doing um, but that's like one of our first priorities: we're gon na get dressed up and go somewhere nice for dinner as soon as it's safe. Okay. So i'm gon na pop that there like a little unicorn horn and then i'm gon na, do back combing along the way and by no means a professional. As i'm sure you're aware you didn't come here for quality. You came here for the fun um and then we're gon na go here, we'll back comb and yeah like i said, i kind of pull the hair back a bit when i put the clip in because it kind of disguises the clip a little bit better. If you've got hair falling over the top of it on the upper row, um, so we're gon na take our five piece and just pop that in get the middle clip and put it in there and then go one side here. Oh, did you hear sabrina's being cancelled on netflix? I'M actually really sad about that. Like i always thought it was really strange. The storyline and i didn't really know what direction it was going, but i just kind of enjoyed that, like we don't need to be overly critical of stuff, like i just kind of enjoy getting lost in something it doesn't have to be really realistic. It'S a magical world, that's kind of the beauty of it, but that was people's argument. Oh my god they're so thick i honestly feel powerful. Can i do that all right, so just got our last two clippy bits where's, my part in so you want to make sure that your clips aren't showing when you get higher and then what i'm going to do is i'm going to run the straightener through all Of my hair just to blend it in even better so we're going to take i'm going to have to use my mirror we're going to take a section just clip that bit back and see my problem is, i never quite take it far enough and then the Clips will show so you just take it back as far as you can do a little back comb. Also, your hair is so full and like luminous as soon as you take out the extensions because you've backcombed your roots. This is just a great technique. If you ever want volume in your hair as well, if you just do it in like the under layers of your hair um, so i'm going to take a two piece: do a brush through. Oh that went through so easy straightening. It definitely helps make sure that it's extra silky, so i'm slightly going diagonal with this one, because i want to make sure that i'm taking the front section back a little just so it gets rid of that. You know short piece straight into a long piece because as soon as that falls over the top now it blends in really nicely um, i'm like proper impressed. I didn't think that i'd ever find extensions that i would feel comfortable wearing my hair down with, because in the past, whenever i've had hair extensions, i've always like um, gotten ones that i'd have to put my hair half up half down, because i can never blend. In the top layer, but with these ones it's so easy. Please lulabelle sponsor me like honestly dream collab right there um one day, one day, maybe um, but yeah as you can see. Obviously this is poking through here, so we're going to create a little bit of volume and it also helps like disguise layer by layer. Oh now that rob's come in and talked about food, i'm really hungry um. So i'm going to do that there you can do a little spritz spritz as well. Don'T forget, you can put your hair uh. What'S the word hairspray in um, just to give it that extra bit and it just makes it so grippable. Oh, these clips, don't like me today, trying to pop out the other way there we go that one's in. Obviously we don't leave our hair like this. I'M gon na take that down the clips really come in handy, i'm so happy that they came with clips and you can even use like the end of the tail comb, to section out your hair one by one. So this is our current situation. We'Ve currently got all these extensions in, but we want to just try and like see these bits here. We wanted to try and blend them in that little bit better, so i'm going to give it all a brush through and if you hadn't like backcombed it properly right now, when you're brushing it through, it might tug a bit you're. You might feel your hair extension slide, so it's a good test as to just how well you've pinned it in. Sometimes i quite like just pinning these two side bits back, because it just gives that little oomph and little summer extra, and it also disguises your front piece from showing as easy, because you've got more control of where that hair is going. If you're pinning it back. Um, but i'm just gon na put my hair into two chunks right here and hit my mirror once again and and what i'm going to do is i'm going to leave this on 160 and just run through the hair together to blend it in yeah? Have you been using any hair masks in lockdown? Have you tried any new shampoos and conditioners? Have you been taking more time out for self-care, or has it not changed, because i know some people's routines just haven't changed one bit since being in lockdown, which is kind of cool, because then it doesn't disrupt you as much. I guess, but i went from being on my feet: 12 hours a day, uh at a retail job to basically sitting on my bum all day. I remember when i first started in retail, even when you have like a break and like maybe do an office job or something because i was a receptionist for a bit in between um. I remember that it was like hell on my feet when i had to. First start back, i'm just running this through my hair kind of hoping this video is going to be really easy to edit, because maybe i can get it up tonight today is saturn. No, today is friday. Rob'S just got a day off. Work today is friday um, but i did only put up a video last night, so i'm thinking i'll put it up on saturday so happy weekend, everyone um, i will probably edit it today and schedule it, and i don't know what to do for my thumbnail. I should really think about that. I'Ve been trying to work on my thumbnails. I don't know if any of you have noticed, but i've been really trying to up my game because rob will give me an idea and i'll just like roll with it, and he's really good at coming up with ideas for stuff like that right. So we are done, i am very impressed. It'S definitely made things smoother and feel softer even with straightening it, and i don't feel like there's any tangles, necessarily in my hair right now so sometimes like your hair will tug on straighteners, but these ones are extremely smooth. They just glide right through your hair and normally they don't glide through my hair because it's so damaged. So i'm really happy that i found ones that i can use on my hair safely and it's impressive that you can change the temperature control to such a high and low level and it changes so quickly. So you have that control and if you're you know in a rush to get ready in the day, then you don't have to wait around for it to just get hot or cold um yeah. I have really enjoyed doing this. Thank you so much to ferdin for sending me this. I really appreciate it and i cannot wait to see what everyone thinks about it too. I hope you enjoyed this guys, give it a big ol thumbs up hit that subscribe button. If you haven't already and the notification bell, why not let's go for it, and i will see you next time: bye,
